These games actually felt harder and more epic despite being short , and the soundtracks are still better than alot of today's games. The art and graphics are fine really , It's amazing what devs were able to accomplish on this console , every game felt magical.
Limited memory space made developers have to use their imaginations, and use those imaginations within the confines of small spaces, forcing them to be creative. With games have large storage capacity these days, devs have gotten lazy.
The nostalgia is absolutely overwhelming with this title. Almost forgot this one. Man, was the NES awesome for its time or what!! Endless library of classic titles that still hold up today. If only one console could ever exist in the history of man kind, it would have to be the NES. Let’s pause for a sec at 0:34 and think about this. You can pick between two “bad dudes” that go by the names Blade and Stryker….and the President has been kidnapped by ninjas… That. Is. Kickass.
I used to love this game back in the day. Only thing that annoyed me a little was being rewarded a freaking Hamburger at the end. You'd think after getting shot, stabbed, bitten by wild dogs, and fighting Ninjas on top of Semi trucks at a very high rates of speed, a Dude would get rewarded Keys to the City, some Loot, something other than a doggone Burger.
This was one of those games that I loved so much in the arcade, and couldn't wait to play it at home. When it finally arrived it hardly bore a resemblance to the arcade. I've found that I can still enjoy a lesser NES port of an arcade game as long as I developed a fondness for the NES version first. If I developed a fondness for the arcade version and then tried to play the lesser port, I'd never be able to get into that port. The only exception was the NES port of the TMNT arcade game. It was better than the arcade in some ways.
Aside from Mario and Duck Hunt which was bundled in with the NES, my first NES game was Crap To The Future i mean Back To The Future. I bought it around the time this came out for the NES. I wish i would have seen this game because i would have bought it instead. I remember my friend loan me this game and not only did i love it but i was surprised how good of a arcade port it was.
The amount of time as a kid I spent on this game, Tiger Heli, Contra, Double Dragon, Excite Bike, Mega Man,Tyson’s Punch Out, Zelda and Castlevania… 😂😂😂

As a kid these games seemed endless and this guy rips though in 20 min😅
