More! More of these type of interviews with cinematographers, editors, costume designers, production designers please. I find them so interesting and entertaining.
"Just the right grey" (for Fincher) and "Sometimes what they don't like is more informative than what they do like" Two wonderful quotes from an incredible episode. Love this channel so much!
Loving all these Dune Part Two interviews. Both Jacqueline and Patrice are so much fun to listen to. Thank you for posting this!
Amazing interview, I love the insights they provided. I knew this movie was massive, but to hear them describe their creative processes is just immaculate. Cinema really is magical, when done with this amount of dedication to detail.
Wonderful interview
Great interview! I do miss the whole group together with the normal style though! I look forward to the week you are all back for the full podcast
Thank you! The conversation is very informative and captivating.
Great job, guys!
Incredible interview! Very insightful. Pat is so nice to look at, which is a nice lil bonus there LOL
An Ad of Austin Butler promoting a fragrance came up before the video started. Nice
Damn this channel feel like it should be bigger great stuff on each vid
Thanks so much!
You guys might talk about this on Friday night (Australia time), but what did you think about the Megalopolis trailer? I think it looks incredible.
Masterpieces 1 and 2 👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Next time you get a chance to talk about these films with the film makers, please, *please* ask why the studio has not released the variable aspect ratio cuts on physical media - ie like Christopher Nolan has done for all of his Imax-shot films.
"4K UHD". Yes, but without a change to IMAX aspect ration. Probably not buying this.
Why this black and white, doesn't make any sense. Also in the books Harkonnen are ginger hair, not bold.
In universe, Giedi Prime's sun is so bright it obliterates color. Out of universe - it's a neat way to illustrate the bleak, blighted nature of the Harkonnen's world
The red hair thing was a bit much imho. Herbert was not exactly thoughtful of the possible racist undertones of his writing. I'm glad Villeneuve didn't follow this ludicrous idea.
Also, in a previous interview with director of photography Greg Fraiser, he explained that giedi prime looked too much like arrakis, and that they wanted to make it look drastically different. Hence the b&w
I deeply deeply loved this interview boys. Sean and Kevin amazing questions, great job!🤌. Hope all three of you get to interview Denis in person face to face about Dune 2 sometime in the near future.
