I know this may seem like nothing from a stranger on the internet, but thank you, and your amazing for still interacting with people who have questions about this glitch.
Still works on PS5. Aug 7th, 2024. I don't know if it actually affects anything, but don't abuse it too high or your stats will go into the negatives. I decided to test if there was an actual hard limit, so I jammed on X for like a good 2 to 3 minutes straight, and my defense is now -870. 😆
I have 0 idea what I’m doing wrong, I get on the thing where it barely says A, turn around, walk dash and open the menu at the same time and it just opens my menu, even if I bind interact/dodge and inventory both to A (I’m playing on Xbox series one) and don’t even walk (to see if the offer menu would pop up) it doesn’t even open the offer menu it opens the regular inventory screen, so even if I did it correctly it would just open the regular inventory which *could* (maybe) make it so I can’t offer the item because I’m too far from the statue is there something I’m missing?????
This is awesome! Quick question, do you know if this works on Nintendo Switch as well? I can't seem to get it to work because it looks like there's an extra step in the process on the Switch... Thanks in advance
It does work on the Switch version, I was able to do it on release day! It's just probably a tad harder due to the nature of the switch version running at 30fps
@@silentdestroyer6969 It looks like you not only have to open inventory but select the stat you want to upgrade as well...or is that the same on PC as well? It could very well be that I'm just doing it wrong, I'll definitely keep trying! It's an awesome trick lol, thanks for finding it!
@@kuraikisai1 You can pre-hover the cursor over the stat you want to upgrade before doing the trick, so that when you open the menu at the shrine it will already be on the correct stat. You can also do the button remapping to make it easier on the Switch version! I set Menu and Dash both to A so all it took was to set the cursor, get the line up and then take a step away from the shrine and press A. It may take a few tries but it definitely should work! I hope you manage to get it!
@@silentdestroyer6969 @SilentDestroyer never mind, I'm an idiot lol. Got it to work, thanks so much! Ps The money still resets to zero after dying but the upgrade items do not. Don't know if that's the same on pc or not.
Most devs, especially indie devs, will only consider putting time into patching a glitch (which is usually a tricky process) if it can happen by accident and directly negatively affects casual player experience. If a glitch is difficult to perform, or even if it were to happen by accident it wouldn't be a huge deal, then it's not worth their time to patch, unless they specifically HATE speedrunners (which these devs absolutely don't, in fact they make sure their patches don't affect speedruns when possible).
@@silentdestroyer6969 Confirmed working on PS5, I didn't change button bindings. Managed to press both Menu (L1) and dash (X) simultaneously and it worked on the 2nd try. Thanks for the video!😊
Hey there, make sure your menu is on the item you wish to upgrade. I did it with the regular roll, and it worked wonders. You're trying to get the menu to open into the upgrade material as you roll.

Wow, that's pretty OP. Would've been nice to know about this cus I went through the game 15 times just to get my stats to 100 lol.
I assumed they would all cap at 8
Sitting on 416ATK. I don't one shot everything. I think there's an ATK limit.
That, or enemies have one shot protection
Ok so I found out that it's not a timing or placement thing, but all you have to do is face away from the Shrine and roll. Hope this helps
Thank you lol, I thought it was patched I have -93 health now
Thanks, I'm on Nintendo Switch and it still works
It just opens the inventory for me, cant seen to get it to even select the upgrade material

Trying on xbox and it doesnt seem possible, the inventory opens but im not able to upgrade
Hello. is it still active? sorry for english google translate lmao

Unless something changed on the Switch version since release day, though I doubt it. What's the "extra step" that you're referring to?

Better upgrade health last, eh?
I can't get it work I did once then I couldn't do it again so I got hyper dash
So just increase the defense got it.
was it patched ?
Nope, still works!
@@silentdestroyer6969 ooh nice 👍 thank you ❤️
I think it is patched. I can’t get it to work at all
@@muffinssquats3238 It can be a bit tricky to get it to work the first time, but I can confirm it is not patched and does still work.

Does this work on Xbox?
It should be possible on all platforms!
Couldn't do it.
By the way I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on PS4 I've been trying it for so long to my fingers hurt
It still works on all platforms, the timing can just be tricky to get down!
Does it work on console too this is mad difficult
Yup it still works on all platforms, it can just be tricky
@@silentdestroyer6969 its really difficult any controller tips? Can't bind a space button on controller so idk which button is best
@@RISK_Lumina you might be able to still bind both buttons to the same one on controller using the in-game options but I'm not 100% sure
