I should of watched this video at 7 pm instead of 3pm. Don't read me wrong, Red Rider has taken an intriguing run on the Dyno on a cloudy late afternoon, and now that its back in the garage, and after she says farewell, I expected the dusk to have fallen outside. My marvel at a bright sunny afternoon. That is how happily entranced I am.
Good job, I was smiling watching you ride. I have rode for 44 years and it never gets old. I smile every time I get to ride my bike. Enjoy and keep smiling..
Congrats on getting Johnny Crash on the road. There's nothing like bringing a machine back from the dead and enjoying the fruits of your labour. You might want to consider some mid-controls. Most people under 5'9" find the reach to forwards a bit much. You can bolt on highway pegs, if you want to stretch out too. Enjoy that ride!
I've seen this video at least twice, maybe more and I finally figured out why I like all your videos! You , the bikes , the rides, your shop, it's all so real! ☑️
Nothing about this video is cooler or more beneficial to me than your beaming joy. Thanks for sharing. You made my heart smile when it really needed too.
Happy harley rider with bugs on her teeth lol!!!hey sweetheart am so happy for you nothing is more exciting than a new ride many miles of happy riding!!!!!!!!!!
I was having a crappy day, got sent home from work, no real work to do(I'm feeling in my spirit that i may be laid off from my job) and I watched your video while I went home, about 30 min drive each way, and your VIDEO CHEERED me up!!! I love seeing and hearing real passion for your motorcycle, because I'm 39 like 2x your age and I am just as gitty and passionate about my sporty, I'd love the opportunity to work on bike wth a Dad like Bill, I grew up without an old man to show Me, so I'm showing my kids everything I can while I'm here and your dad is a great example as far as I can tell and I appreciate the love u guys brought to my thing. Love u guys God bless! LOVE THE DYNA!!!!
Hey man, I really hope you don’t have to go looking for another job. I’m sure God will provide for you, but I know it feels when things seem uncertain. I’m really happy my video was able to cheer you up a little! And btw, I might not look like it, but I’m actually going to be 31 in the spring haha. Thanks for the compliment though 😆
Thanks Red for taking us with you on the maiden voyage,,,i felt like i was there with my face close to my monitor Johnny Crash sounds great,,,,sure he's more comfy for longer rides when u can reach the forward controls easier & u get the feel of riding him.🍀
Congratulations on getting the Dyna up and going! Maybe you'll have your own shop one day! But be careful! Giving Johnny Trash all this praise might send Mr. Shovelhead into a state of depression. 🤣🤣 LOL!!
love your two bikes red, can't wait to see you out on a long road trip. Don't ever change, love you the way you are. great Craic, keep up the Good work.
FANTASTIC!!! When I picked up my Evo fatboy ,after riding my shovel for 30 years, it felt like I went from a big block muscle car, to a caddy,,, the floor boards are so good, never had turn blinkers,, new adventures awaits!!!!
SO GLAD YOU GOT IT RUNNING. 5-SPEED, SPEEDOMETER, MIRROR, YOU LOOK LIKE YOU WERE IN HEAVEN. I HAD A SPORTSTER THAT WAS 4-SPEED, BUT WHEN I MOVED UP TO THE FATBOY, THEN THE ELECTRAGLIDE, I WAS IN HEAVEN. GOOD JOB.
Nice 😎👍. I was thinking Crash Bandicoot but Johnny Crash is good also. So happy for you. I moved my horn to the front of the frame because cause of that fan I put on there but the curly trumpet part fell off and it sounds like an old car now! So be weird but I kinda like it 😂🤣. Of course your shovel is always going to be special. Your dad is all over that bike and the memories with him oh my God, what a wonderful thing. Dynas rock but I like so many, love that shovel too. A piece of rolling art, it is. Ride on, Red👍😎👍
Lmao! Johnny Crash lives! I have to admit that that name (in my opinion) fits the dyna perfectly. I believe the bike will tell you its name (or at least give you a hint and point you in the right direction for the bikes name). I'm not big on just giving my bikes any old name. It has to speak to me. The bike has to show me what it likes, what it feels, it's true personality (then it gets a name) lol. But Johnny crash.....that's just genius. You'll see mine once it's done and you'll see how the skull covers fit into it and my design (and choice of names) once it's done. I'm hoping to get it on the lift soon so I'll have all winter to give it the tlc it needs and deserves. Congratulations again on the work you and your dad have done to bring Johnny crash back to life. That bike deserves to rock it in the sun and breeze just like any other bike should be able. Your smile says it all. You deserve to be proud of the time you guys put into it. Now you get to hear the sweet music from Johnny crash's exhaust while you're tooling down the road (pigeons beware!). Hehehe. Enjoy the ride Red, I know we do. 😁😎
Great to see you on the road. I feel the same about the cold riding. People always ask "aren't you cold?" I answer that being cold lets you know you're alive, I slow down or stop and instantly warm up. Shorten up those controls. Now that Johnny's on the road, time to make everything fit you, you'll enjoy every moment even more. In the interim, maybe pops can fab up a quick pedal block for the rear brake till the lever mod gets completed. I also like running boards for having more room for my feet, but I'm on a ST Dlx. Have fun, I'm jealous of the scenery up there.
Congrats. It is nice seeing your how happy you are. After working on what ever motorcycle I happen to own at the time and taking it out to feel the results of my efforts always bring extra joy knowing it is better than before. Keep turning those wrenches and don't be afraid of trying new things that challenge your inherent talents.
Enjoy your Dyna, take care of the shovelhead. And,I pity the fool who even messes with the Shovelhead. Be safe out there, you are a special work of your dads, too. Many great rides and good wind therapy to you from down here in Georgia,USA.
Hi Red, I am thrilled for you. There is nothing like that first ride, and that ride for you was far- bigger for you because of all the work you and your Dad put into it. love seeing that big grin on your face. I could actually hear the excitement in your voice and see how happy you were to be able to ride your bike.👍😀 PS my insurance cost me $1,200 a year for my bike but I keep maximum insurance on it.
Hello From Chicago!!' Love your motorcycle enthusiasm!!..& love for the shovels!!,...Beautiful Dyna!!,...wish i could ride with ya!,..Ride safe & never stop ridin!!😎
Oh you my kinda lady up at 240 am, nice thanks I was wandering if you ha it up for sale I have not watch the whole thing yet, I might be talking out of place , thanks BigAl California
Hi Red loved your cold start video it took me back to the early 80's and a 48 pan mill in a 58 rolling chassis my favorite bars were always perched on a side hill.
Congratulations on getting the Dyna on the road!! Great to see you so happy on your first ride you really looked like you had fun!! Stay safe enjoy your bike.
Cute horn! All the cool comforts, blinkers, 'lectric start, smooth riding. Glad to see riders enjoying their rides. It'll feel wierd going back to the Shovel.
Hi Red Rider! Nice ride! I enjoyed going with you on the short ride! My first Hog was an 82 Shovelhead which I bought new back in 82. It was a GREAT Bike! I've always regretted selling it! Keep the shiny side up and God Bless!
See? Didn't we tell you? I don't think I've ever seen you smile as much in your videos before. Most of us figured you'd end up loving it. As for insurance, I pay $70 American every six months in Virginia Beach, so $140 a year for my shovelhead. That's for liability only, though, because it's a home built bike and they wouldn't give me comprehensive because of it.
I was told lol. It felt to good to get out in the dyna after having it be such a pain in the a** for so long, but the shovel head is irreplaceable. I love the rough feel of the shovel and I like kicking it and figuring out what it wants.
So good to see you happy and those big smiles. Your hard work has paid off and I’ sure your dad is very proud of you too.
Thank you 😁😁
Happy girl
You've got it running sooooo smooth...Happiness is a warm Dyna...✌😎
I've had that non stop grin after a ride.😀😀
It was a good one lol
I should of watched this video at 7 pm instead of 3pm. Congratulations on a great build. Johnny Crash......😁 love it!
Looking good red love in the motor happy Honey moon
Awesome. Good for you. Like the videos . Ohio wish I lived where you do. Looks beautiful.
Thank you for watching 🙂
Go "Johnny Crash"!!!!! Great to see it out in the road.
Seems too be a STOP sign situation..LOL!
🤔
I like the cool/cold rides also. As much as you smile riding the dyna you won't have to spend time cleaning bugs off your teeth.
I prefer mid controls as they are much easier on the back and reduce or eliminate pain!
Mids are nice, I might go with floor boards though. 🤔
I like floor boards, they’re a nice compromise between mids and forward controls.
@@RedRiderCanadaBC I like to grind mine thin on my Switchback in the corners 🤣😂🤣
I laughed when I got to the part where you mentioned the seat
Glad ANGEL YOU GOT JOHNNY CRASH ON THE ROAD. YOU REALLY ENJOYED THE RIDE AND BIKE. MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD AND HAPPY. 💀☠🕸

I've seen this video at least twice, maybe more and I finally figured out why I like all your videos! You , the bikes , the rides, your shop, it's all so real! ☑️
It makes me very happy to hear that 😊 Im glad I offer something to be enjoyed!
She sound great ride johnny like you hate him or love him.
even myself starting out with a hard tail, its okay to say you feel a lil spoiled with something you put time in!😎💜
Nothing about this video is cooler or more beneficial to me than your beaming joy. Thanks for sharing. You made my heart smile when it really needed too.
🙂 I’m really happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!

Johnny Crash, a very appropriate name considering the history of the Dyna. All the work you and your Pops put into the bike was all worth it.
Thank you 🙂

Thanks Red for taking us with you on the maiden voyage,,,i felt like i was there with my face close to my monitor Johnny Crash sounds great,,,,sure he's more comfy for longer rides when u can reach the forward controls easier & u get the feel of riding him.🍀
I’ll definitely have to change something about the controls. Thanks for watching!
Excellent name. Great sounding bike.
Well done red glade you like your new bike 🏍 👍👍👍
Congratulations on getting the Dyna up and going! Maybe you'll have your own shop one day! But be careful! Giving Johnny Trash all this praise might send Mr. Shovelhead into a state of depression. 🤣🤣 LOL!!

A real accomplishment! That Dyna is a nice bike! You looked so very happy riding him! Looking forward to your next ride❣
Thank you! It not too shabby eh!
As Richard Thompson wrote in a song "Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme"
Cheers for Red Rider and Johnny Crash and Dad too !
The song, a ballad perhaps, about a motorcycle and a girl is "1952 Vincent Black Lightning"
I think I’ve heard it before 🤔
I LOVE your smile 🙂
😊
After all the hard work you get to reap the rewards. You and your dad worked hard on getting it all right . Good job !
Bless your heart , sick bikes.
