i really want to do some bike building videos. Curious what your setup is to get the awesome shots and lighting u have. also the red frame color with the podium gold is mint 👌
That is a gorgeous build and awesome attention to details. I am curious how much it weighs in. I am running a '23 Epic EVO and had it down to 22.97 lbs with a '25 Fox 34 and just FA'ed it and now it is 23.6 lb now.
Oh it’s not that light this has 200mm hs2 rotors, trail casing tires, etc but I’m sure if I switched out that stuff to Moore XC style stuff it would be much lighter
Im thinking of getting the Epic 8, but not sure if i should get the evo version. Does this video mean you decided to make your bike more aggressive for the downhills because where you ride the evo 8 is a bit out of its depth? Im thinking i would be quicker overall on the epic but have a bit more fun on the epic Evo? Would you agree since you have tried both? Thanks
The terrain around me is much better for an epic evo. Unless you’re racing XC or using it as a gravel bike I’d get the evo but if you’re looking for pure efficiency and lightweight get the epic
Yes dude! so stoked to see this thing in person some day. Keep up the solid videos. Learning alot from you
My man 🤘🏻
Did you switch your flipchip from high to low or just keep it in the high position? Any noticeable difference if you have?
I always run my bikes in the high position

I’m a full time videographer so I have an entire studio of lighting and camera gear. Just invest in some good lights from aputure and get to shooting.
A thing of beauty 🚵🏼🚵🏼

What tyre lever is that? Looks ideal! Great camera angles by the way.
Cush core makes it
Hi! I like your videos. Please...what is the name of your tire insertion tool? I don't see that anywhere. Thanks!
It’s made by cushcore
@@brakeforsnakes Thanks a lot!

Great video! May I ask you how tall are you? I am 178 (5'10) and between M and L frame.
I’m 6’0
Go for the L

Yup
14:31... where can I get this item?
THX
Those come with the epic from Specialized
I see your old bumper like once a week these days. Still has the BFS stickers.
Yea my friend owns it now.
130mm fork ?
Yea that’s what an evo is
@@brakeforsnakes a yes would suffice
@@elgeffe503 it would but it also wouldn't encourage people to just look up the most simple of things
@@brakeforsnakes you do have a point haha nice build btw
Grid trail in the front 🤦♂️
All I had on hand at the time of the build but it rides great it’s not a big deal
It is a t9 in front and t7 back.
Perfect choise
