Updated August 2023: If I were starting over today, I would begin with a 24 or 48 half pan set of Art Whale and then replace each color I use most with Schmincke Horadam over time.

(Student Grade // company is based in Miami, Florida; paints are made in China; pigment information is provided; pans are standard sized and can be moved around; tins are fantastic and will serve you well for a long time; these are highly pigmented, extremely easy to re-wet, and over 70% of the colors should be lightfast based on pigment numbers; the only caveat is that burnt sienna and umber are mislabeled, so you'll want to switch the names when you make a swatch chart)

Thanks for sharing your excellent ideas here in a well presented manner . I used the Contacts application on my Mac to print a mailing name and address label list as you suggest, but there is no way to center justify . I'll try the Google Docs you mention . I like the way you moved the zip code to it's own line , it's better visually for sure

What pen do your like for light colored paper?

How did you know where to draw the first line. If Im just addressing withoug address just the name. Im having trouble is knowing where in the envelope. for just one line. You center it?
Oops! Sorry for the very late reply. Yes, I just center it if there's only one name (like an inner envelope). If there are two rows of names, I shift the first one up a little so that the names combined end up centered. Does that make sense?
What tutorials/books did you use to learn how to write like this?
It’s just my natural handwriting. In college, I sat next to a girl who wrote really beautiful notes in class. Copying what she did kind of made mine more flourished ~ but otherwise it’s just how I write!
