I just watched your envelope video. You have some kind of bandage on your hand/wrist. Does it reduce pain? I just finished addressing invites for my sons wedding and my arm is killing me. Any advice before I need to address the thank you notes??
Hi i love your videos new follower I'm a self thought calligrapher recently i was asked if i can do some invitations for grandma's bday party with some water color art but I'm not sure what type of paper to use that would look nice and work well with the water color paints of you can please recommend me a type of paper it would be much appreciated thanks and keep the videos going
one question: is the calligraphy main target, keep using all the same alphabets (gothic, cursive, italic, copperplate, etc) over and over again? I mean, just to keep doing these alphabets correctly, like if you try to play piano? I really like the calligraphy videos, but i see ppl writing all the same alphabets. Whats the fun of it? Thx.
Well, Im never giving invitation with names WRONGFULLY SPELLED, especially grammatically speaking. Saying capital letters are hard is not excusable...so this video ain't helping!!!

I think you are talented and should try a beautiful flourished copperplate. Look up calligraphy masters on youtube.
I think Shinah has a uniquely beautiful style. It's not all about copperplate 😉. And btw she does do copperplate as well.
