That is absolutely amazing, love it. Second part looked a bit more challenging as it appeared to have dried a fair bit but was good to see how you still managed to produce such a good result. That grain pattern colour is awesome. Can you do a part 3 of burnishing and oiling so we can see your process and the visual difference? Also, can you show your method of knife sharpening too please?
Sounds like a plan! Thanks for the feedback. The spoon is pretty dry now since it's been months so it will be interesting to see how will be to work on when I do the finishing process.

Hi, thanks! The knife is the skinny sloyd from Deepwoods Ventures.
Do you carve as well?
@frozen_toes_ak yes a bit got a bunch of spoons but they are rough compared to yours. Practice I guess
Yeah keep at it. I learn something new every time I carve. Hoping to carve more this winter to refine some areas I’m working on.
Hello!
Which size is the skinny sloyd knife from deepwoods?
I forgot but let me check.
Looks like I got the 2-1/2 inch / Upswept Blade
Nice!
Thanks for the answer.
@@frozen_toes_ak Do you think that this size is better than the size of the mora 106?
