@@AbuYusha01to most Muslims *especially his harsh critics* don’t really understand their own faith especially the history and development of their Aqeedah. These *critics* most of them are not even scholars or even high level students of knowledge, it’s like they studied Islam for 5 years and all of a sudden they can criticise and make takfir of Yasir Qadhi subhanallah 🙄

It’s weird that if u can ask a sahaba what’s their aqeedah, they’d tell u a very simple aqeedah in a sentence. Yet they were extremely fruitful in their actions and behaviour. While we learn pages and still be confused, and not fruitful at all. What’s the problem with us? Maybe this should be explored

Indeded: "And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment" 3:105
2:213 "And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves."
Allah never agrees to deviating from the straight path as those of us who try to unite the ummah upon falsehood. He only warns us all if we are amongst those who deviated from the path of the Prophet (pbuh) and his comnpanions.

I think you’re not contextualizing the environment these theologians faced during their times. The sahabas faced a Quraysh which were clear pagans so their message and belief were articulated simply. Fast forward where you are presented with several interpretations of monotheism baked into the complex belief systems inherited in the colonies. You need a much more refined explanation and understanding of your faith to differentiate and solidify why your path is the truth. Deeper articulation of the Quran and Sunnah needed to be applied to combat these foreign beliefs and be intellectually sound and superior to them to be legitimized as the absolute truth.
Most Muslims do not see this as they live in theological bubbles completely absent of modern thought.

@@crazycrypto9454ur right that they had to protect the pure aqeedah. But it seems we the modern people, have to go over 1500 years of theological issues . We are handed the historical baggage and that’s not a good strategy. Aqeedah issues are like pandora boxes, when u open one, it creates other questions. I’d like to see a simple and updated aqeedah.

I trust this Sheikh. For one very simple reason. He tries to build bridges to unite the ummah, rather than ostracize and label sects. How can the one who tries to unite muslims be wrong? Nobody will be able to answer this.

You mix up two things brother. Uniting is obligatory in islam. Allah warned those who become sects, so did the Prophet (pbuh). But uniting upon falsehood is forbidden. All the deviated groups, ideas, innovators need go back to the authentic islam as was practised by the Prophet and his companions. Only then we can truly unite and achieve honor in the ummah.

@@Kbuit81 We can unite in cooperating in good and virtue (which is mentioned in the Qur'an), however, uniting in some thoughts and viewpoints would not be possible - because of the tendencies of human nature. What is to be noted here is that the aqeedah group, which belongs to the general body of ahle sunnah, differs on the secondary matter of Aqeedah and not the primary matters of Aqeedah. If someone differs on primary issues of aqeedah then they leave Islam and if someone someone differs in secondary aspects of aqeedah then they have erred or deviated or mistaken depending on their sincerity or metholodolgy they adhere to. But they are still Muslims and deserve all the rights of Muslims which are laid down by the Qur'an and sunnah.

@20:50 Good to see that the Ibadi are not being treated as a Pariah but people are beginning to see and understand. However, Shaykh Yasir Qadhi if someone can point out to him (he appreciates nuance) To say that Ibadi-aqidah is mutazilah is quite the misunderstanding.
The Ibadi agree with the Ashari on the doctrine of kasb (acquisition) the Mutazali do not.
The Ibadi agree with the Ashari that morality comes from revelation and not human reasoning. The Mutazali do not agree.

All this fighting over Aqeedah is inherited from the Nations before Islam. It started in ancient Egypt, and moved to the Levant, to ancient Greece, to ancient Rome, to the Jews and Christians, and finally, to Muslims. This why we need to fill this gab of historical development of ideas to understand current theological differences.

@MAli99923 What is important to note here is that the criteria is to follow the sunnah of the Prophet (saw) and the methodology of the companions, and not the group. The way of the sahabas was not to make it a sectarian way. Rather, they focused on iman, ikhlas, ihsan, and Islam.
One of the scholars beautifully said that you are not judged as a group but as an individual in the day of judgement, so from each group, there will be sincere people with good sincerity towards the truth (who do not follow the sectarian approach) and they will have good deeds - Allah swt would not count them among the sectarian people.
On the day of judgement, you will be judged by your overall deeds. A person may be threatened with punishment because of certain deeds but may be forgiven because of his/her overall good deeds, or he/she may enter hell for a temporary period but then will come out eventually and be with the believers in the jannah. What matters is your deeds and not your slogans, labels, or attachments - yes, they may be important for distinction yourself in this dunya, but in they eyes of Allah what matters is our Ikhlas, iman, ihsan and amal.

So basically he is saying they were slaves of the ideas of their time
But I am not 😅😅 I am your savior
He uses modern philosophy of language as if there is consensus about it or as if it will never change
He is actually so emerged and influenced by post modernism and progressivism and yet telling us that imams in the past felt into the trap of being influenced by the ideas of their time and that their ideas are only human interpretations, and his is what? Divine
    The golden double standard
But this modern world is much better hence we will understand better
If this is not post modernism and secularism i do not know what it is
He says we do not know what the sahabas believed
    So when god says فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنتُم بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا ۖ
How am i supposed to follow what god commands me here yet he never guided me? This is belitering god's message.
And the issue is that he does not accept natural language, that the asel is in the zaher of the word
No he wanna use some modern philosophy of language yet the quran came in arabic with the mindset of none philosophers, but let us ignore that and believe that philosiphers will understand better.
The guy is deep in tge mud and he does not see that, he does not see how much he has been influenced by modern philosophy
He reminds me of woke leftist when they say we accept everybody unless they disagree with us
Basicaly he refuses the hadith of the prophet خير القرون قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم
And all these generations said that who ever says that the quran is created is a kafir.
But qadhi is more versed than those.people who were indoctrinated and did not know how to understand the quran until our master the west developped the modern philosophy of language
    بئس المعتقد والمعتقد
A side note: the guy says look at the ibadiya إباضية how they have better iman than sunnis in their salat and tahajod
Does he not know that ibadiya are khawarej and that we have a direct hadith from the prophet saying
So their actions from the outside are the best but deep down in their hearts they have zero iman
    Phd in doctrine? Really

Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found, before (near) them, a people who scarcely understood a word.
They said, ‘O Dhu’l-Qarnayn! Verily! Yajuj and Majuj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?’
-see Suratul Kahf from verse 93.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Yajuj and Majuj are digging every day until they can almost see sunlight, then the one who is in charge of them says, “Go back, we will dig again tomorrow.” Then Allah restores (the barrier) and makes it stronger than it was. (This will continue) until the appointed time. When Allah wishes to send them against the people, they will dig until they can almost see sunlight, then the one who is in charge of them will say, “Go back, we will dig again tomorrow, in sha Allah.” This time he will say “in sha Allah”, so when they come back (the next day), they will find it as they left it, so they will dig their way out and emerge to attack the people. They will dry up water (by drinking it, because of their great numbers), and the people will seek to protect themselves from them in their fortresses. They will fire their arrows into the sky, and the arrows will come back down covered in blood (as a test for them), and they will say, “We have defeated the people of the earth and have gained the upper hand over the people of heaven.” Then Allah will send worms on the napes of their necks, which will kill them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the beasts of the earth will grow fat from their flesh.” (Sahih Ibn Majah, 3298)
Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan reported from Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her in an agitated state and said, “La ilaha ill-Allah, woe to the Arabs from an evil that has approached! Today a hole like this has been opened in the barrier of Yajuj and Majuj ,” and he made a circle with his thumb and forefinger. Zaynab bint Jahsh said: “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed even though there are righteous people among us?’ He said, ‘Yes, if evil becomes overwhelming.’” (Reported by al-Bukhari, 3097).
Hadith of al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an, which says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told them about the Dajjal, and said: “Whilst he is like that, Allah will reveal to ‘Isa: ‘I have released slaves of Mine whom no one will be able to fight. Take My slaves to safety in al-Tur (Sinai),’ and Allah will send Yajuj and Majuj , who will come swarming down from every mound. The first of them will pass by Lake Tiberias and will drink the water in it, and the last of them will pass by it and will say, ‘There was water here once.’” Narrated by Muslim, no. 2937.

@@abdurrahmanali24 Yes i can show you, it is very easy and cleer.
Let me begin with Quran in Surah Kahf, verse 94. Where Allah mentions Dhul Qarnayn travelling the world and the people come to him saying: "O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily! Ya'juj and Ma'juj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"
Then after that Dhul Qarnayn builds the wall and locks them in. Then Allah continues in 18:97-99: "So they [Ya'juj and Ma'juj) were made powerless to scale it or dig through it. (Dhul-Qarnain) said: "This is a mercy from my Lord, but when the Promise of my Lord comes, He shall level it down to the ground. And the Promise of my Lord is ever true." And on that Day (i.e. the Day Ya'juj and Ma'juj come out), We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together."
I do not think that any person with a right mind needs explanation for this, it is so clear. But according to yasir and his likes, when the Promise of Allah comes and te wall comes down it is "surprise, there is no one here, we fooled you all". We seek refuge in Allah from these people.
Let's move on to the hadith:
It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Gog and Magog people will be set free and they will emerge as Allah says: "swoop(ing) down from every mound."[21:96] They will spread throughout the earth, and the Muslims will flee from them until the remainder of the Muslims are in their cities and fortresses, taking their flocks with them. (hadith continues...)
      Sunan Ibn Majah 4079
In the long hadith in Sahih Muslim 2937a the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says after mentioning the killing of the dajjal by Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him): "I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur. And then Allah would send Gog and Magog and they would swarm down from every slope."
      And Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh:
The Prophet (ﷺ) got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this." (Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.) It was asked, "Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, if evil increased." Sahih al-Bukhari 7059
This matter is so clear, anyone can fully understand this. As for your second question. The 10 signs of the last hour are part of the 5th pillar in eemaan, which is believe in the last day. So denying this, is denying (part of) the 5th pillar.
      Hudhaifa b. Usaid al-Ghifari reported:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: What do you discuss about? They (the Companions) said. We are discussing about the Last Hour. Thereupon he said: It will not come until you see ten signs before and (in this connection) he made a mention of the smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary (Allah be pleased with him), the Gog and Magog, and land-slides in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia at the end of which fire would burn forth from the Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly. Sahih Muslim 2901a

This Ummah has major problems, if you go to a salafi group the first thing they ask you is where is Allah and try to convince you Allah is a body and if you go to a Sufi masjid you will end up talking to the dead for your needs and calling on prophets and awliya for help with Allah (if you don’t have knowledge) and these are the two main groups today, these differences MUST be resolved thus we can all unite. We have to be wise. There’s no need to delve into how Allah exists nor is there a need to go to graves and seek help or call remotely, we can put these issues down and focus on serving Allah ! allahuekber ! The big shayks from each group MUST sit down and resolve these ideas and make the appropriate joint announcement’s. Dr Brother Yasir it’s not good advice to tell people to go anywhere and believe anything. You are yielding to difficult circumstances. At least say learn the basics at each place like Arabic, Quran, Hadith, basic Fiqh etc. and regarding where there are differences in aqida just all say we believe as Allah intended it and move on… in sh Allah

What you say about salafi's is not true. Its not the first thing they ask and they dont try to convince you Allah has a body. The only ones who use the word body are those who deny Allah's attributes. Isn't that ironic. The only thing salafi's do is affirm Allah's ATTRIBUTES which He and His messenger (saw) affirmed for Him without any distortion, denial, asking about how these attributes are or likening Him to His creation.
If you think that is bad, i think you have a problem, not the salafi's Unless you think it is good to meet Allah denying what He affirmed for Himself. And how can you speak about unite when you start your message with lies and attacks on people?! Makes no sense brother.
In islam we do not mix truth with falsehood, cause when we do that, the truth is gone. Coming together like you suggest and solve the differences is wishfull thinking. Each group in islam thinks it is on the right path and dont see wrong in it. Even when Allah forbade it, even when the Messengegr (saw) forbade it and said 72 of 73 groups will be in hellfire, they still think they know better and invent new ideas and groups in islam.
6:159: Those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do.
30-31:32: ...turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allah. [Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.

“The words of Allah, the Almighty, should be understood according to the most common and apparent meanings unless something necessitates accepting an alternative interpretation. If the claim of metaphorical interpretation were allowed for anyone who wished to assert it, no statement would retain its intended meaning. Allah, the Almighty, is far above addressing us in a manner that the Arabs do not understand in their customary language, where the meaning is clear to the listeners. Istiwa’ in the language is well-known and understood; it means elevation and rising above something, as well as stability and establishment in it. Abu ‘Ubaydah, in explaining the verse {istawa}, said: ‘It means rose above.’ He also mentioned that the Arabs say: ‘I rose above the animal’ and ‘I rose above the house.’ Another scholar said: ‘Istawa means that one’s youth has reached its peak and stabilized, so there is no increase in it.’
Abu ‘Umar (Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr) said: Istiwa means stability at the highest point, and it is in this sense that Allah, the Almighty, addressed us. He said: {That you may settle yourselves upon their backs, then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them} [Al-Zukhruf: 13], and He said: {And it [the ship] settled on Mount Judi} [Hud: 44], and He said: {When you and those with you are settled on the Ark} [Al-Mu’minun: 28]. Then why not be lenient on the issue of Sahaba ? Even in the Sahihayn there are authentic hadith which affirm some companions are going to hell which is essentially the shia position that some companions are good and some are bad
