Just had this version pop up on Pandora. Had to come find it again, so much fun. I love stuff like this and a lot of the Allman brothers live stuff, where they just jam on a song and stretch it out two, three, four times longer than the studio versions.
Gentelman..man on the silver mountain is my favourite song but another song from rainbow is kill the king, 16'th century greenslave Still i'm sad is very great song. And the vocalist Ronie James Dio (RIP) is my fave.
Dio's singing at the end is just fantastic. Best rock/ metal voice ever. We miss you Dio🤟

So what your saying is any Rainbow song featuring Ronnie James 📟🎸📟🍻
metalslinger, I would tend to agree. The studio version is good but this one rocks my freakin' world.
+Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow 1977 I just bought 'On Stage,' it's incredible.
Man could blow Hendrix away. I totally believe that.
The best version for me,Ritchie on fire, dio screaming strong,Powell rytmhic
There's a version from this tour where Dio is insane. 10 times better than this.
@redthunder238 which concert?
In 2021, this is still knocking me silly.
Even in 22
even in 23/24
Am I wrong in thinking this version is superior than the one on the album?
Seems accurate to me.
Not wrong at all
Definitely better than the album
Nope. Miles and miles superior.
i love it

9:53 and on is my favorite part
3:04 the interference from that huge electric rainbow is more music than 99% of nowadays rock/metal
1:51 more cowbell please
The Man...
このバージョンは、カッコいいね。👍️😂
This and live rockpalast 1977
Why does it reproduce the riff from "Lazy" from Deep Purple from 1:47? Is it a tribute or a copy?
Sibila1983 You probably know that Ritchie Blackmore was the same guitarist for both bands?
windk100 thanks! I forgot completely, I knew about Rainbow recently (I need to attend lessons at the "School of Rock" hehe)
Blackmore wrote the riff.
@@MikeArpeggio345 Lazy riff is taken from the song Steppin' Out by Eric Clapton
@@manoschar I didn't know that. It makes sense. A lot of those blues players like borrowing riffs from each other.
4wrong version of child in time, bud nobody knows
