It’s even better seeing them have fun onstage cause then the audience will enjoy it even more. Performing live music is supposed to be fun, and it’s meant to give people a good time and good memories!

I’ve met him a couple of times, in Nashville. he’s a really down to earth, great guy in person.
I realize everyone is entitled to their opinions, but how could any Jack White fan not love this? His band is stunning, with Gary Oldman directing. Holy shit.
I'm not usually one to fan girl or have idols, but Jack White is truly special. I obsess a bit about him simply for the fact that he is an artistic inspiration. He's the reason I love music to the degree that I do, very few artists today can claim to be a good or unique as he.
Hendrix, Rush, Zztop, etc. Respect being only 3 man bands. Here we have one man and a barefoot bouncing Meg who can sing sometimes bless her soul. WE ARE NOT WORTHY

@Ntyefighter yea...watching him Shed That Velvet live is...unreal. especially when you've been listening to him, since back when nobody knew wtf to make of this band. I mean, their first 2 albums...especially De Stijl. De Stijl is just a timeless blues album, of the highest caliber...and seeing The White Raven live...Just EASILY one of the best performances I've seen. Just as thrilling as 20+years ago seeing em play Black Math live early on in "the set", to get the crowd bouncing like pogos.
He's something special alright - one of best performances i've ever seen, he has great taste to being a big Beefheart fan - he's like so many great artists rolled into one The Cramps, Beefheart, Bryan Ferry, Robert Plant, The Wailers, Gene Vincent i could go on and on he has unearthly energy may it continue!!! - if only he had Beefheart's five and a half octave range!

Just saw him live in Jacksoville... by God that was amazing! It was even more out of control than this, he was all over the place, none of the songs he did were the disc versions, he screamed a lot of the lines, did NOT hold back at all. It was absolutely incredible!
I saw him live in Miami a couple of days after that Jacksonville concert, and you are right he holds nothing back. A true entertainer.

Only a good director like Gary would show the stage change ! Jack is brilliant. Always looks sharp, professional and gives a great show. His writing, the way he sets his band up and the way he communicates with them is amazing. A True genius.

The charisma and character of Jack White produces timeless music to be able to get such great musicians from all over including the wonderful Ruby Amanfu on backing vocals and and thepowerful drumming of Carla Azure. Rock On
Jack white attacking Gary truly scared me but what else was I to expect it's fucking brilliant. Jack is America's Golden boy. A true Renaissance man of the past and future. Saying I love his work is an understatement.

i've seen a few legends in person, and as someone who always wanted to see the white stripes, but was too young/couldn't, i would have literally shed some tears if i got to see this tour, for the old stuff and the new stuff. godblessyou, jack. godblessyou. wow.
I never got to see The White Stripes as I was a little too young when they still performed. I started really getting into Jacks whole catalog a few years ago, with my first album following his solo career being Boarding House Reach. I didn’t have money at the time to see the Boarding House Reach tour, but managed to catch The Raconteurs in 2019. I managed to snag tickets to his 2022 tour hitting my city in April so I’ll be seeing him solo for the first time very soon! I got floor tickets too so I’ll be close to the stage😀 Probably the closest I’ll ever get to seeing The White Stripes!
Seen The Stripes twice in 2005. Milwaukee and the Columbus at The Opera House downtown. Milwaukee was legendary. Been looking for audio ever since. Second row center. The best show I have ever seen.
Great Show! And it’s funny how he roughhoused with Gary by tackling him and wrestling him down to the ground. Jacks a big guy and Gary was in trouble for a minute.
Gary’s a brilliant Actor and portrayed both Sid Vicious and Beethoven in films. How’s that for variety and range?
And he realizes that Jack White is a brilliant musician and artist.

I assume you're talking about Daru Jones, who is the drummer in Los Buzzardos (the all male band). I agree. He is fantastic. The drummer in the all female band (the Peacocks) was pretty damn good, too! Carla Azar is her name.

An American original! I like what he’s doing musically and I appreciate his aesthetic. He has a lot of style. Plays in two different bands. Only he would bother doing that.
