It might be a little morbid but I find these lists fascinating. For starters, some of the memories of these people like Johnny Olson for example, take me back to my childhood. His voice is so synonymous with any day I was home from school and my mother or grandmother would be watching The Price is Right. Others, I wasn't even aware had passed or can't believe it's been as long as it has since they passed. Good job on tastefully compiling the passing of these individuals. They all contributed in some way or another and deserve a remembrance.
I remember, when Johnny Olson died, I was crushed, I remember hearing Johnny’s voice when he announced the classic Goodson-Todman game shows as a little kid. I can remember him starting off with “What is your name please” on To Tell The Truth or, “and away we go” on the Jackie Gleason show from Miami Beach. The week he died I had plans to go to The Price is Right but they canceled production for a couple days. I didn’t know Orson Welles and Yul Brynner die the same day.
I was 4 when Johnny Olsen died, and I used to watch Price is Right before going to PM Kindergarten. When his passing was announced at the end of an episode I remember crying and being so upset, and my mother still tells the story of how she had to tell my teacher about it. In reality, as a 4 year old, it was my first experience with death....

I just watched that episode on Mr Rodgers with Margaret Hamilton. Showing kids there was nothing to be scared of as the Wicked Witch of the West. I used to be so scared myself as a kid, but I thought that was such good episode to show kids it was just acting. Another genius thought by Fred Rodgers
