Ummm? I think Campfire would be a better buy for the cash. IEM's in general, are really fascinating to me these days. Great tech. I might buy a good pair someday. So great for traveling.
I can live with minor cosmetic imperfections - what I cant live with is the fact that EVERY pair of HiFiMan IEMs I've owned has had a driver die in less than 12 months. RE0, RE-ZERO, RE-262 - never again, thanks Fang. (They need to talk to Philips - 10-15USD IEMs that last much longer)
Currawong tanks please one more question? What is the best in ear do you try in your life? And what is the best between( layla or Lola )vs hifiman re2000 tank you for your answee
Hey, I was thinking about upgrading from the shure se215 to something more high end. I was looking at the campfire audio Orion and the etymotic er4. I'm still not completely sure what my preferences are because I've only had the shures for a while now, but I really want a pair that will be true to the recording. What do you recommend?
@Throngdorr Mighty haha true words. Andromeda is the end game for me now, but who knows if im gonna think bout 64 audio iems when i own the Andromeda or not. I probably will.
Hard to say, as they have a totally different sound signature. The Laylas are much darker, however you tune the bass. I think the Laylas might be a better all-rounder as a result.
Cheap PVC cable, bad fit, poor build (do you seriously think the gold is going to pull the wool over our eyes?), mediocre sound and stupid price. Compare it to Andromeda side by side with Opus 1, the Andro just have better everything, much better sound, better build, better fit, much better cable at a fraction of the price.
Where the sound sig matches the music I feel the RE2000 are better. They just aren't good all-rounders with the strong treble, whereas I can listen to anything with Andromedas. Most TOTL headphones I've owned had PVC coated cables too.
ive got small ears comply foam tips say medium fits 90 percent of people i use small and for a expensive iems the design is not well thought out why a shape with angles istead of more smooth and more to a shape of an ear.
most reviewers won't compare A with B for obvious reasons.... it will be nice to see more compare videos from well established reviewers that will have all the gear to try but most channels after they get established will end up a PROMO/SHOWCASE channel instead a review channel.
@Aron Gatt I'll happily compare everything I have here. However only the Vegas have a sound signature even remotely close to these, so 90% of what I'd say about comparing the Andromedas, Laylas and others would be to do with the tonality. I think how they perform with different types of music is more important. Then all the multi-BA IEMs wont drive the same out of a phone due to the non-flat impedance, whereas the RE2000s drive more like a pair of headphones in many respects. If you'd like to see a video about all that, just ask, it could be a good idea, but I've decided not to get into the "I can hear the player shifting in his seat a tiny bit more more clearly out of X IEMs" and other "last 1%" stuff for the most part. :)
Build quality is a joke, RHA has better quality on their £70 iems... I will not be supporting Hififman after seeing the atrocious quality of these re2000. I don’t care how good the driver is if the rest of the package is not up to par.
ridiculous (in a bad way). 2k IEMs with build quality that doesn't match even most of the offerings in the 100$ bracket like the iBasso IT01 or TFZ King Pro, a sound signature so pronounced and picky that it works for only few, select genres and sounds borderline horrible with everything else so they're outpeformed rather consistently by IEMs a fraction of the price in most music, and an awful unergonomic design. this has to be THE most ridiculously overpriced IEM in history, with by far the worst value proposition in the headphone world. at this point, you'd be better off spending money on snake oil cables than this garbage. but i guess HiFiMan never changes...

2K? Can you hear another dimension with these?
At the current price (Pro-Silver) of $350, all time bargain. With the Mojo2, fantastic sound quality for a $1200 mobile rig.
Did you have listened to Noble Kaiser Encore?
wtf horrible build quality for 2k!
I think they definitely need to pay attention to some of the fine details, but I don't think the build is as bad as people are saying.
How does the Hugo 2 compare with your big desk top rigs?
Quite favourably. For most headphones, I could use it by itself.
the gold 2000 dollars the silver 350 ? whats the difference?
Tape? Really? What a joke...
This iem should cost 20$ and they still be making profit because the real value is 2$.
Fabio Rocks How do you know that?
Fabio Rocks But I agree, this price is way over the top
Give you 500 dollars and make me one Or gfys.
Totally agree lol
Do you think you will look at the Campfire Audio Polaris
REEEEEEEEEEE2000 DOLLAS
What is the best for you in general vega or hifiman2000?
For ultimate resolution and overall capability, the RE2000. For all-round use with a variety of music, the Vega.
Currawong tanks please one more question? What is the best in ear do you try in your life? And what is the best between( layla or Lola )vs hifiman re2000 tank you for your answee
You still need an intro for the channel.
I've made two, one years ago, one last year or so, and I could probably do with making a new one now.
I know this iem is aging but can you do a review of the campfirw audio novas? Pleaaaase

Is there a difference between the gold and silver sonically? Looks like you can pick up the silvers for around 800 US
I highly doubt it.
How would these compare to your Layla would you say? I mean is it a huge step up or are they on an even playing field?
Hard to say, as they have a totally different sound signature. The Laylas are much darker, however you tune the bass. I think the Laylas might be a better all-rounder as a result.
where can we buy the dita dream cable?
RE2000 means Really Expensive 2000 dollar iem! LOL
There's a much cheaper version without the gold plating now.
what cables were on the andromeda and vega?
I have listened to these. It's ok. But not that good.
Agreed.
2 grand... yeaah.
Give us a review go the Hugo 2 please
It's coming. Most of it has been shot already.

Electrical tape on a 2k dollar pair of iems is a little silly
Good guy nothing bothers you.
can you compare it to Audeze isine 20 .....

Face it it's cheap!
