Yo mate, it could be related to how the sword is grouped. Perhaps you're making only part of the sword visible and not the whole group. 🤓 Maybe delete the keyframe, make a new one and see if it makes the sword visible without any connections. If the problem still persists it could be related to the variable. If you have values greater than 1, make sure that you use a calculator (with the equals sign) to make it so that the keyframe is activated when the specific value is reached. In summary the issue could be in 3 places: the grouping of the sword object, the keyframe or the variable logic. Hopefully you'll find the solution there 🤓
What if I don’t want the weapons to be invisible when I unequip them? What if I want them to be placed in a position on my character, like on the character’s hip or back?
Yo mate, that's easy 😎 make a copy of the sword and put it on your characters back/hip. By default this is visible and the weapon in your hand is invisible. When you equip it, have the keyframe make the weapon on your hip/back invisible and the weapon on your hand visible. So you essentially have two versions of the same weapon 😁🙌🏻 but which are visible/invisible at opposite times.
Im at the 7 minute mark and when i press R1, the animation of my hand and arm play but the weapon that was in my hand disappears. I followed the guide. Can anybody help?
My character runs weird when the gun I have for them is equipped-- as in they keep either bumping into something invisible or they can't do the flip animation when they jump. Have you ever run into similar issues and if so, do you know of a way to fix that? Edit: I fixed the running problem, but the jump is still an issue. It won't play the custom animation for any part of the jump (ascent, peak, or descent)
@@TheVigilante-zf7iz It did, it was colliding with the bullet I had made. I managed to fix that. I also fixed the jump animation for the most part, I had to modify it somewhat, but it'll suffice.
you can use a selector, it would be easier to use, all you do is hook up a microchip and a animation 😊

When i hook my variable to the calculator in port A of it then make calc = it makes the = value 1.0 not 0 ??????
