As someone who has been privileged to listen to all their work and see them live (as well as share stages with), Adema has always been a band that you can just feel is one step away. The potential was always there - they just couldn't keep a lead vocalist. And while everyone is saying that, "Mark was the heart and soul of Adema, they could do so much more if he was in the band", note that the video we're watching is from his THIRD tenure with the band. At some point there has to be an acknowledgment that it wasn't them, it's him. At least with Ryan, they are taking their time to make sure they get it right - they've released a couple of solid singles, got through a few tours with no hiccups, and there's work on a new record. Personally, I wish that they had made it work with Bobby (Kill the Headlights is my personal fave from them), but all things happen for a reason.
@xtrmst_01 you're entitled to your opinion, and I will respect your right to it. I will go back to what I said when I mentioned "taking their time to get it right". His voice isn't the best, you're not wrong. But honestly speaking, had he not stepped up when he did...ADEMA is likely dead in the water. At least there is progress and hopefully with the new album we'll see some improvement. At this point in their career, we kind of already know what we're going to get - but I've learned not to count them out.
I really hope they stay together man. I really want a new album from these guys they could come back and crush this shit thats being pumped on the radio now. They could bring back the nu metal sound and all the other bands could follow them i would dream to see this happen.
