      Prosecutors ask for house arrest at the very least "Judge with all due respect, she took a life"
      Judge: Nope, I want her released Today when she gets back. She's suffered enough.
      I fully think the judge blamed the father here, even though daughter chose to live with him to get away with more.
      She chose her bed ridden dad to live with knowing he couldn't stop her from doing as she pleased. An Argument started, she threw cleaning chemicals on him and ran out the door to meet her friends, leaving him to burn until the son found him later on that evening. He lived a few short months in the hospital until passing away. She never did own up to doing anything wrong.

      @brianspencer6397 6 місяців тому +8

      The purpose of a defense attorney is to make the prosecution prove every scrap of evidence that is being used to convict the defendant. Many of them probably feel the same negative emotions about the crime and the defendant that the rest of the court and public does, but they are doing the very necessary task of keeping the prosecution fair and just. They are also responsible for ensuring that court gets to see any extenuating circumstances to the crime, and to put across a case to make sure that the defendant does not get an excessive ('cruel and unusual') punishment for the crimes committed.
      Would YOU, guilty or not, like to face a court without someone making sure you get a fair and just trial and sentencing?

    What I will never understand is a lot of them make like they are sorry that they did it a short time later. If they really are sad, what changed in that short interval? How do you go from committing one horrible deed, to suddenly being so against that deed? Are some humans really THAT malleable?

    It’s one thing to hear all the graphic details of the crimes but to hear the emotional aspects the Prosecutors want to add at the end of the trial. Its only purpose is to show a judge once again how depraved the perp is at that time of the crime.then there are some that are beyond any help!

I am sooo grateful I was given another chance to prove myself...these poor kids didn't understand the consequence, nor will they ever get the chance to prove themselves. I pray for the suffering and the struggling addicts...keep your kids close, these stories hurt so bad

    It might sound silly to fine anyone who is sentenced to a life term in prison, but most prisons allow people to work in prison shops to make money for the canteen fund. If you are the recipient of the fine, you will get your money. It might take 20 years, but you will get it.
