    I ordered a sample of this. Cant wait to try it. I need a classy wearable oud. Love your perception of fragrances!
    Tonight (new years eve) would be a good night for royal oud!

    Smelled it today, initially thought it was good, then hated it within seconds, but it smelled upper class. After an hour I really liked it. Definitely something I’m gonna try again and possibly pick up

    Beautifully shot and a wonderful viewing experience. This is the reason I don't own a T.V.
    Thank you.

    It’s funny you mention the celebrity factor with this fragrance, my first smell induced the vision of the Sheik walking through the hallway with his entourage.

    I love Royal Oud when I first tried it...but not-so-much after having discovered Middle Eastern oud fragrances. I still enjoy wearing it on a Fall night out, but it has never been something I've wanted to try during the warm weather months. Enjoyed.

      Which is better oud Wood by Tom Ford or royal oud ?

    • @jimr880
      @jimr880 4 роки тому

      @@hocineted7594 I initially enjoyed Royal Oud, and I've come to enjoy it ever more over the years. I liked Oud Wood when I first tried it and purchased a bottle about 6-7 years ago because it was so hyped at the time. Unfortunately, it performed terribly (literally 30-60 minutes) on my skin so I exchanged it for another Tom Ford. They're both solid gentlemanly oud scents, but I greatly prefer Royal Oud (something really unique about the scent) and the poor performance of Oud Wood was a deal-breakers for me. Just my thoughts and experiences. Your mileage may vary. Cheers!

      @@jimr880 but i think Tom Ford frangrances has more natural ingredients, what do you think ?

    • @jimr880
      @jimr880 4 роки тому

      @@hocineted7594 I think the natural ingredients ship sailed long ago, with the exception of a very few perfume houses. Tom Ford tends to do a much better job of the oriental category, while Creed does a better job with that aromatic freshie thing they do. Sadly, I think both houses have been a bit disappointing the past few years, but Tom Ford has the inside track on number of releases, and Creed seems to be doomed to mediocrity after being purchased last year. We shell see. Also, I sent a decant of my circa 2015 Royal Oud to good friend and UA-cam reviewers...he was it was vastly different than the sample he purchased in 2020. Cheers!

      You're a genius. I am also a genius, because these are roughly the same numbers for my success at stock market investing and at the horses. And that is only a reality because I never let the cat out of the bag if I'm the creek without a paddle, if you see what I mean there... The world is not flat you see. Unless for those times when it is.

    a Fragrance Apprentice video under 10 minutes?! are you sick George? lol I'm just messing man. I really enjoy this one as well. Oud Wood is another similar one to this that I recently discovered. not similar in scent but similar in quality and the vibe it gives off. anyway, looking forward to that MI review next week ;)

    Why can I not put my finger on this fragrance??? Its almost odd?? I pick up the Angelica huge in the opening and it can come off as harsh for 2-3 minutes. Dont get me wrong it smells amazing but very odd...unique for sure. No oud at all...I normally wear heavy ouds so I pick up none at all. Tons of citrus, pepper, harsh angelica and a cedar dry down...

    I love Royal Oud also and blind bought a 75ml bottle in it's old form with the old style atomiser from a Facebook group and it's easily my second favourite Creed behind Aventus. I agree, where Aventus is top dog and makes you feel special in a different kind of way, Royal Oud makes you feel important. Really enjoy your unique reviewing style,good work!
