I've been shooting weddings and corporate work exclusively with a 24-70, but there's always 1 or 2 instances where I need more reach.
Thinking of either the Sony 70-200 f4 or Tamron 70-180 f2.8. Gotta pick between a faster aperture or lens stabilization, but I'm leaning towards Tamron.
I've used the F4 and it's a good lens if you're a hobbiest. For professional work I'd strongly recommend the Sony GM2 version. I'd only get Tamron if budget is a deciding factor and you can't justify the big spend of the Sony GM2.
