Your tap water looks fine, but I did the same test on my water. What was terrifying is that my water did not look like yours
… mine had a tremendous amount of nasty foamy stuff at the top, particles and tiny cloud of stuff in the middle and black goo in the bottom.
Your water is likely to have a higher mineral content than the water that was in the video. Again, that "Water Electrolyzer" is not an accurate measure of water quality. If you want to know what's in your water, you need to send the water sample to a certified lab.

Some "debunking" videos claim like you are, that it is just oxidizing the minerals. Other " debunking videos, start off claiming that you are putting things into the water from the rods. And then they end off just complaining about how dangerous it is.

Don't just half explain it, like in this video, explain what the different colors would mean based off the chemical reactions.

I wouldn't trust anyone who believes tap water is safe. Electrolysed alkaline water is what we should be drinking

I used this today. My tap water had a black layer and my filtered water had a blue ring. I'm concerned over our water quality and will do some research. The unit comes with warnings the same as any other electronic product.
These devices don't tell you anything about contaminants in the water. The discoloration is just the minerals essentially forming "rust". You do not benefit from the minerals in water unless you consume a bathtub full of well water which will be equivalent to a slice of bread. Minerals are needed to adjust pH and palatability…
The point of the video, though, is that the water electrolyzer is not a valid test for water quality, nor is it valid for determining/detecting contaminants in your drinking water.

@@WaterNerdTV yeah, it’s basically like one of those foot bath things. Just a gimmick. If you want good water start with the best quality source, and then use a softener, a RO system, and then a re-mineralize/alkalizer. That’s what I used and it’s amazing. I’ve tested my water every way and it’s very important..
I admired this kind of videos to debunk anything claims that scam ppl. But neither of the device nor this video is 100% true. Because it doesn't dissolve anything from the water but the discoloration is due to it's electrodes that the electricity is passing on. And this makes the iron from the electrodes corrodes into the water and makes those discoloration and disgusting stuffs. The main reason it's doesn't reacts in pure distilled water is because it's not conductive at all.
Distilled water is not a conductor for electricity?? Are you willing to test that?
To my knowledge you're only supposed to keep it turned on for 30 seconds not a minute and a half....plus the results you got on your tap water after what appeared to be 30 seconds was a good sign. The light yellow discoloration is not a bad result?
All these devices tell you is that there's minerals in your water. (Causing them to corrode in your water, causing a color change). They are not a way to tell you whether your water is "contaminated" or "safe" or even what types of contaminants are in your water. The discoloration in the water from using this device just tells you there's minerals in your water. But the longer it stays in the water, the longer the minerals have to corrode and cause a darker color in the water.

I don’t think the government wants us to have a cheap and easy way to test our water since they are polluting it like crazy. Probably will be more videos like this.
It's a L.e.d light bulb... low voltage, Does it light up a regular light bulb? 12 v dc car battery with super high amperage don't shock you if you touch it but that does ?
The prongs are connected to AC power. It's basically an extension cord with male ends exposed on the other side so the test would be the same with an old school bulb. These types of LED bulbs are still powered by AC input but they convert the output to a lower DC voltage that's compatible with the LED.
When I drink water at night before bed time (London - Thames Water). I have trouble sleeping. I am kept awake. Almost as if there is caffeine in it. Of course, can't go to bed thirsty.... Any reason for this?
There are a myriad of variables that can contribute to sleep issues. You may want to consult with a healthcare practitioner regarding what you've been experiencing and follow their guidance.
There are traces of cocaine (and all drugs ) in water. Including hormones. I watched a documentary years ago that was specifically on Thames Water…. It was mind blowing. Distill your water. Watch your health rise.
I understand that water supplies in our modern systems are not exactly good or natural. So tap water being good and safe? I believe the effort that people make to do the right things are there while we all must for ourselves use our intelligence to research and understand what is and what isn't going on. I don't just take any one's perspective as my truth. I agree that children shouldn't be playing with things that maybe harmful to them. I would rather see the alarm methods of message delivery - online have a more positive message with a neutral clarity- in other words- calm down- we need to do this better pls - although your message may have real meaning- it also projects the continuous fear outwards - it's not personal really - let's keep our feelings in check because we may just be doing exactly opposite when we mean well

It’s not supposed to show your water is not safe to drink?!?! It’s showing if there are HIGH levels of these metals in the water - which your tap water doesn’t have. Great. Very blessed. Not the case for most of the world….
While you understand what's going on, many people misunderstand what is actually happening, and in fact, many people are using these as an indication of whether their water is "safe."
@@WaterNerdTVwhich in turn, if it gives them a high mineral count would most likely prompt them to get some sort of drinking system to clean their tap water. Almost half of USA municipal/tap water is contaminated from pfas and a list of other harmful contaminates. RO system then remineralize the water people!
There are loads of toxic minerals that is why people are using this to justify how "safe" the water is. Your tap water was fine but some people find out there water has high levels of lead ect. @WaterNerdTV

This device showed me the crap we were drinking. Turned our tap water black and green while filtered water on the other side had a slight yellow tinge. I think this device can be dangerous but if not handled by a complete electricity novice or stupid people, its not bad. It does what it says. Lots of warnings stuck to the device as well
It only changes colors because it's interacting with the minerals that are naturally occuring in the water. It's misleading AND dangerous.
@@WaterNerdTVdid you even read what the different colors mean ? Black is basically pure heavy metals! It means the water is full of zinc lead copper magnesium blue means stuff like pesticide which are also just minerals which you say are just naturally occurring.!
