Hi Everyone, I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal! I think many of you would like to see more of the action that’s going on in Hogwarts Legacy; and yes, the Wizarding World is about duelling, beasts and dark wizards too. But I on the other hand would love to feel like a normal Hufflepuff-student for once. This includes studies, classes, sneaking up at night with my friends, OWL’s etc, immersion, Diagon Alley etc. I don’t feel the need of being the savior of the Wizarding World. I would also wish for: - More spells: Not only usefull ones. They could include jinxes etc. - Deeper immersion: Being able to sit by the fire. Reading books we already know stuff about (The History of Hogwarts etc). - More beasts. - A map consisting of Hogwarts, the grounds, the lake (underwater?), the forbidden forest and Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Ministry. - Consequences of your actions. - More magical plants and more herbology. - More subjects. -Quidditch. - Wizards Chess. - Animagus. - The option to hold/grab/holster items like the wand etc. - The same currency as in the lore of the Wizarding World! The list can be made long but yeah, that’s some of my so many ideas. I wish you all the best! 🧙🏼♂️
Starting with a hearing is actually a good way to determine what happened in the previous game. You can be asked question like "what did you do with the ancient magic?" 'released it' or 'kept it locked up'. Or determining whether Sebastian is in azkaban without directly stating whether you turned him in.
Oh that's interesting. I just typed out a comment asking how the new game would know what choices you made in the first one. But your way makes a lot of sense.
It would be VERY interesting if Sebastian slowly becoming a villain for the franchise, our antagonist being an ex friend would be fenomenal storytelling
Nah because we had the option to send him to prison or not. If we chose not to, we’d still be friends. It wouldn’t make sense as to why we’re no longer friends for those who chose that option
Sebastian has no reason to be a villain. That's if you do not betray him and snitch to send him to Azkaban, to mutilate his life completely. Otherwise, maybe, yet that would be horrible.
At 4:20 I think it would be interesting if instead of heading to Ollivanders we use the wand that the keepers gave us in the original Hogwarts Legacy. As our character slowly tests the limits of this new wand, they will eventually face a decision - give into the hunger for power or tame that hunger. We can see that the wand still resides in our inventory in the original game which leaves this as an open door.
And thank you for putting a Hogwarts Founder Tournament instead of trying to force the Triwizard Tournament into the storyline - I'm honestly sick of having to remind people that the last Triwizard Tournament was in 1792 and wasn't reinstalled until 1994
I’ve read an article about this, the Definitive Edition. It’s not officially confirmed by the developers, but due to the popularity of Hogwarts Legacy, it’s quite possible. I really hope this will new DLC will be released. We definitely need new content before the second game
My take on Sebastion is that finding out Ann was cursed by a wizard and killing his uncle turns him into an anti-dark magic crusader and starts what is essentially a witch hunt (irony) against his fellow students, including the protagonist.
I'd love to see Hogwarts Express. Should have known you'd cover EVERYTHING! A tournament would be so awesome, and a Yule Ball is right up there with the quintessential Hogwarts experience. Sebastian being our Grindelwald and Anne dying in a duel with him would be such a cool angle!
I would be super happy to play a game written like this. I think the addition of the ministry agents would be especially interesting and maybe set it up for a darker tone since it gets into the chance for corruption and being used as a weapon. Maybe after the Fig incident, MC is left feeling a bit lost and the ministry plant is in the right position to take up the role of their new mentor for better or worse.
Legacy 2 can include the last Tri-Wizard Tournament, as the story takes place 100 yrs prior to 4th book GoF. We could have a quest to help a 1st year Albus Dumbledore and his sidekick Elphias Doge. Run into other book characters like Aunt Muriel etc. Could even meet a 7th yr student named Henry (aka Harry) Potter (Harry's great great grandfather). Bringing book characters/canonical characters in would be fun for fans.
But the last Triwizard Tournament was in like the 1700s before it was banned for the next 200+ years. If we get it it wouldn’t stick to the original lore, so unless we get transported back in time it wouldn’t be possible
It could be phrased as an unofficial attempt to revive it and something horrific happens, black is forced from office as a result and is therefore not viewed contradicting the lore
@ZeRamma03 your right, I was thinking of Harry being youngest seeker in a century and confusing that with TWT. Making Dumbledore that seeker would go with a lot of fan theories lol.
I was opposed to continuing the story of the 1st game since I never really cared about any of the characters but this gives me hope that it could actually be really compelling. Since all the groundwork is already established they can now go in depth into writing these characters and our relations with them. I envisioned a plot involving the Department of Mysteries taking an interest in us due to our power, with the climax resembling OotP, and while it can be incorporated into this story as well, I think your vision is a lot better since it has themes and message. Good job, looking forward to more!
The theme of Harry potter on which the whole wizarding world was built upon is that murder is the highest of the crimes (some exception are there like "assisted unaliving" in case of Dumbledore and snape) and murder rips your soul internally (even if you don't make a horcrux), and the only way to not let that soul reap or to heal the soul is to show and experience painful remorse of your action. So depending if the person can feel remorse then they can be saved from the "dark side" if not then they will as easily join the dark side. So regardless of the choice you made in the first game, if you can make sebestian feel remorse then he can be on your side, if not then he will stand in opposition to you.
Saw a few comments asking what Sebastian's reasoning would be to turn into a villain. Here's what I think would make sense: Following the hypothetical story of this video, Sebastian would come to ask/demand MC (main character) to use Ancient Magic to try and save Anne while she's still alive, the same way Isidora tried to save her father in the prequel. Either MC chooses to do it which would be using Ancient Magic irresponsibly and is very dangerous, or not do it which would turn Sebastian against MC. Once Anne dies, Sebastian spirals and blames MC for not helping save her, causing them to turn against each other for good. Sebastian then goes on his own and tries to learn and master Ancient & Dark Magic for himself to try and raise her from the dead, using a combination of Ancient Magic and Dark Magic/Horcruxes. He finds out that it may be possible but can only be done by killing and sacrificing Muggle souls (which strengthens the Ministry/Muggle storyline) and turns him into the ultimate Voldemort-like villain who is becoming extremely powerful and is following both a Voldemort and Isidora-like arc. MC then has to find and destroy the Horcruxes and will ultimately have to choose between killing Sebastian or not. This eventually would lead to a Ranrok-like battle where MC, Natty, Poppy and Ominis go find and fight Sebastian. The battle starts as a 4v1 but Natty and Poppy are taken out of the fight when they are separated from the group, leaving just MC and Ominis fighting Sebastian. Ominis then starts a dialogue with Sebastian about how he can still stop this and come back on a redeeming path, and says the best thing to do for Anne is to move on and stop using Dark Magic because that is what killed her, and he is doing the same thing that Rookwood did to him and his family to other families. Ominis then says Sebastian is no better than Rookwood for actively deciding to use Dark Magic to hurt people, which enrages Sebastian to the point where he casts Avada Kedavra, killing Ominis. A fitting and tragic end to the only Gaunt to ever oppose Dark Magic. The battle goes on in a 1v1 between MC and Sebastian, which ultimately comes to an end when Sebastian is too weak to fight anymore and is about to be finished once and for all. The last scene of this penultimate quest shows MC walking up to a weak and beaten Sebastian where they have a dialogue about how he never wanted any of it to come to this, and that all he wanted was to save Anne and live a normal life with her and his friends. Sebastian apologizes for being so wrong and causing as much pain as he did, and says he wishes he could go back and undo it all. He then clutches at a locket around his neck and says that it is Anne's which has a picture of both of them together as kids. He says this is the last Horcrux and hands it to MC to destroy it, accepting his fate. MC's Ancient Magic is the only thing that can do so, and MC has to decide between killing him or not. If MC decides to kill Sebastian, he completes his Isidora arc as he was destroyed by the very type of magic he was attempting to harness, at the hands of the people he cared about the most in pursuit of trying to save them. If MC decides not to kill Sebastian, he completes his Voldemort arc and deteriorates and flees into the Scottish Highlands and goes into hiding like Voldemort did after killing Lily Potter.
@@Brawlzer omg not Ominis!! 😭 but I can totally see it! And you’re totally right, Sebastian will confront the MC one way or the other about using AM on Anne.. that will 100% happen in the beginning. But damn, I’m just excited about the next school year at hogwarts in general! There’s so many ways how the story could go..
Omg Ben have you been reading fanfiction? A lot of the HL stories I've read regarding what happens after the events of HL1 are very, very similar, but it ties in Sebastian perfectly! Fantastic video and I hope the story for the sequel takes this on board!
One thing we need is to reveal is the origin of the ancient magic users and what would happen if MC found out truth about their powers., like they are all related or something.
I think a good villain for a future Hogwarts Legacy game could be something like Amon from The Legend of Korra season 1: someone with the ability to take magic away from wizards, virtually turning them into squibs
I love this concept so much, its much the same as one other youtuber were on about theme wise with mc having to go on a moral journey with a light parth or dark. And this and the other both sounds really good since i will agree it feels natural for mc to be tested on their morals after the start where mc is sumpling around like a newborn+found their footing in the wizarding world. So it just feels like now is a good time to continue to the fun and interesting part of a story. The pull of each side of ones morals😉😋 It would be fun if they included more of ominis's story since it would be an intersting setup of two dark sides with him and seb but ominis gets to show the lighter/good side in the sense of standing by his own moral and refuse his familie/the dark. It would show more info on ominis plus it would be a counter to sebastian's story and his darkness. Plus this also support my personal viewpoint of mc getting geard up to be a broken/grown up to fast person or maybe be a more colder person, since mc started out as this star eyed, clueless, positiv kid but as you go on with all the secrets, deaths, lies, betrayls and the war it makes sense a person cannot come out from all of that the same brigtheyed person like before.
@@lineliebst7661 yes! The setting for the story to unfold is perfect 👌 there’s so much we can do in the next game. And as far as Ominis, Poppy and Natty, I wanted to talk more about them, but I had to cut things out, cuz it was making video far too long. But for Ominis specifically, he’s playing with fire.. cuz there’s a chance they might denounce him completely if they found out he’s not living up to the family’s standards and dares to call em maniacs. On the other hand Ominis already feels like he is not part of that family and will happily even change his last name if he had to. Additionally, I know I’m not the only one, but I think there’s something between him and Sebastian.. I could see it all the time. But it might be only coming from Ominis and not vice versa.. ugh I can be talking for hours out this 😂
I think it would make sense for more of an Ominus story line too. His family somehow finding out what Sebastian did, and blackmailing him…or they found out he went into the scriptorium and that Slytherin’s spellbook got destroyed. Equally, as Sebastian himself said-the Gaunts are full of secrets. There’s so much potential to include something that sheds some Gaunt lore, especially since they are Voldemort’s ancestors! I’d love to see us help Ominus find out some secrets and maybe escape from his family by the end!
@@kristenjameson6788 that’s so true! Also Gaunts might get even more pissed at Ominis if they find out that he calls their family maniacs.. there’s a lot of potential there for both great mission opportunities as well as interesting story and character bits
I think it would be interesting for us to head back to school and slowly shape the path between attending classes and eventually going to work as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic or slowly skipping classes, dodging detention and falling in with a group of less favourable friends. Eventually going on to work as a bounty hunter who despises the Ministry and works to create a group similar to the Death Eaters to take down the Ministry.
A great hypothesis on HL 2, Ben. I'm totally on board. In the interim; I can't wait to get whatever WB/Avalanche graces us with, in the forthcoming Definitive Edition DLC.
What would REALLY be insane is if the devs created two realities - effectively two games in one - where you pick "your" canon ending to HL like you pick your Shepard in Mass Effect. Issue with choosing polar opposite endings for a prequel, there must be a canon ending for the sequel to build on. Well, not if it's digital download-only - or a disc with insane space - because that would have been a crazy upload. Frankly, I'm concerned about how they can make Hogwarts feel new and fresh in the sequel, to the extent I want to see other schools, like Ilvermorny, Durmstrang, Beaubatons and Natty's home country's. I'm sure the devs can figure this out, but I think it'd be a shame to not get some glimpse of the rest of the wizarding world. I'd also love a story stretching into vacations and holidays so we could maybe visit London, Diagon Alley and maybe more of England. Imagine traveling on the Hogwarts Express, running around the 'Alley to fetch your school supplies (or having to find the entrance to the 'Alley in the first place); maybe pick out a pet, and visit Gringotts. I hear the sequel will take place closer to the time of the books, as HL was around 100 years, I think, so ceretain familiar faces could begin to crop up without it seeming too fan-servicey.
@@TheREALSimagination seeing other schools would be great! But I think that can be left for the 3rd and follow up games. Or at least have some missions in other regions similar tot the Azkaban mission we had in og game
@@BenjaminSnow Sure. If they're outsourcing the HP license to others studios, we might see a branching out into the wizarding world sooner rather than later.
I love that this video explores the actual continuation of the story rather than just general wants for the new game. I feel like the biggest issue with the first game is that we spent so much time OUT of the castle. I think there should be some sort of overall threat that keeps the player in Hogwarts like an escaped prisoner or a creature loose in the area like dementors. This would up the security at the school calling for the need of prefects to roam the halls and keep people from wandering around after hours (which will force players to use stealth to get around at night) and encourage a system more like Bully where you can’t just attack students or cause mayhem without getting in trouble. More focus would be put on classroom activities again similar to Bully, which would increase your spells strength by doing the actual work rather than just a cutscene. I think if they cut out a significant amount of the surrounding highlands they’ll be able to put all of that time and energy into making Quidditch work because as I’ve seen from Quidditch World Champions it’s not an easy thing to put into the game , especially with such high detail and fidelity. It’s one thing to have it run with Fortnite-type animation but it’s another thing to get every position and mechanic to work on an Xbox or PS5. I love this series and I just want to feel more like a student and the castle to have way more to do than just revelio, chests, and pages
I don't think they ll go by the ending of the game. Given the fact that there was 2 options. of the outcome of the ending, I for one chose the good ending. Other people might choose the bad ending. So I honestly don't think the beginning of the new game will start from this, it'll probably be Something totally different
We've just heard of a DLC being released for Hogwarts Legacy in the future, which will add additional story. One story could be us finding a cure for Anne.
A conflict with muggles would be a good story, but so too would a Tri-wizard tournament, which is what I am hoping for. Also I would like more of the things you can do to be optional, being the best in the duelist club, summoning or other things they made you do seemed too forced, if they do add Quidditch, it too should be entirely optional, do you join your house team, and whether or not you win games should be up to you as the player, instead of making you the greatest at everything there is.
I could absolutely see this as the path they take. Seems quite well thought out. That said, we may also find that Sébastien wants us to use ancient magic to heal Ann.... our decision or ability to do so or not may also play a part in his arc. I'd also love to have Natty work with me on wandless magic and maybe become an unregistered animagus Wouldn't mind seeing something from our Ravenclaw companion but that would be tough. He's quite under developed compared with the others
I saw a lot comments from many Hogwarts legacy regarding the origins of our main character. We don’t really get mush information regarding on how we met Professor Fig or what’s our background. Base on the way MC speaks he is polite and calm no matter situation. I like the idea of character development in the game for not just Sebastian but also for anyone also it would be good if we spend more time with many other friends we made because most of the time it was with Sebastian.
I hope you don’t mind me borrowing some of these ideas to use in a personal story I’m writing, is that okay? 😂 🙏 A wizard/muggle war is perfect. This is actually really good and realistic as a “most likely to happen” scenario.
I would love for my actions to have more of an impact that shapes the story and characters around me. I would love to do a pure evil playthrough and potentially become a death eater. I thought the potion making was a bit lackluster and wanted to actually make the potion like in a real biology/science class, using measuring cups and other instruments. Having ai companies, do mission, and explore the world with is a must for the sequel. We need more magical creatures to find, collect, and fight as it's gets old fighting a troll, spider, and wizard sometimes
i really like your theories. i believe its gonna be more predetermined. Since its gonna be a stand alone game i believe situations like Sebastian being or not being in Azkaban is not gonna be base on our characters choices from the first game. Let's say he ended up in Azkaban regardless our choices in the first game etc. That's at least how i would do that to continue the illusion of choices. either way. im very excited. im 34 years old and i really enjoyed the first game :)
I want Anne to survive :( Seb convinces us into taking her pain away on Halloween night, sneaking out disguised as a Bartolomy quest. She returns to Hogwarts FINALLY after the Christmas holidays/Yule ball. However, it turns out we were not ready to perform this ancient magic trick and the same thing happens to her as with Isidora's father. Eventually, Anne becomes a shell of her former self by the end of the year, which can be seen gradually as you attend classes. Seb turns against us as we're responsible for her ultimate demise. I also think at some point one of the missions in London would include finding your parentage (ie being a descendent of Isidora, bc her story was wayyyy too short), as it's one of the biggest Harry Potter themes. However, the main thing I want in the next game is to fix the cats' meowing. Idk what that noise is but it's not a cat.
@@TheMEOWWWWW 🤣🤣 I know!! It’s the sound a cat makes before it throws up 😆 But hey that series of events can definitely happen too and she’ll become as if she’s been brought back to life with a resurrection stone 🤔
I love this, will say that maybe the reason we need a new wand is because the Ancient Magic in ours reacted to the spells they use to review your spell use destroyed it, and an option that if you used Dark Magic you can get access to dark core options. Would like if Anne was getting a little better (hinting at the spell being linked to her uncle) but the brewing conflict is what caused her death.
I wish they would tone in down to being a student rather than Kratos... Hopefully they would diverge from the 1st part of the game entirely and just listen to what people want as a majority...
I am Gabriel Cunningham Ivan from America State of Florida. But recently moved to Georgia. I'm completely new to Hogwarts Legacy game! Read all about the the plot on Wikipedia there are 2 choices for the main character to decide what to do with the ancient Sorcery either to keep the Ancient Sorcery hidden for anyone with Heroism in them to use that power on any occasions or absorb the power for themselves right there right now also forgot what happens to Professor Fig nobody say what happens to him don't want spoiler. Already know which is the Good Superhero Ending also know the other one is baddish but I prefer to call Anti Regulation Hero ending haven't seen the videos about those endings don't want spoilers that why just read them on wiki just so you know. But wanted to know are there 3 separate achievements for all 3 Endings or just 2 achievements for one of those 2 original endings then the second achievement for the True Bonus ending?
@@BenjaminSnow Well there are 4 separate achievements that are somewhat hard to any gamers that want to get One Hundred percent on Hogwarts Legacy One. There are achievements about not just finding the Chamber on four houses. But there achievements the One Hundred Percent Achieving Gamers can get only by having to complete the Game four times on all Four Separate Houses Hufflepuff Slytherin Gryffindor Ravenclaw.
I’d like to see romance with characters like in the movies. Consequences of being caught wandering all parts of Hogwarts at night. Consequences for killing to even using the killing curses More places that we haven’t visited yet More places to explore in Hogwarts Interactive classes Timed events like making it to class on time Quidditch matches
I Love a lot of your Ideas, i would Love a Ball and some sort of a Romance system. Also Quidditch and Common room activities would be cool. I Just don't like the Idea of this Tournament because i think they have to stan on their own feet and not make all this Story refrences to the HArry POtter books (Easter Eggs not included). But a sort of Questline around the founders and our own past would be nice.
@@stanjames603 yea, it doesn’t have to be a tournament.. but the core idea is to get involved in the history of each house as part of the main and/or side story
I love this story. I do have to say… I think they would probably take a more “Witcher like “approach to this story line. If the story is truly a continuation, Sebastian’s fate will be locked behind side quests and maybe he will show up in the main story if you choose to ally with him. OR!!! He will be the main antagonist of the second game, and dialogue will only change minimally in cut scenes. That theory is based on the way they treated Ranrok. Not much dialogue and not much screen time. They could easily record 100 alternate lines that change based on previous decisions that keep Sebastian in the shadows until he appears. I just don’t think this company has the with band to create a story as complex as what you presented
I would absolutely love if they removed the floo flame mechanic and instead made fast travel based on hidden passages and shortcuts. There are only 6 hidden passages out of Hogwarts at laest 2 of them leads to hogsmeade. The remaining 4 is canonically unknown where they lead. However there could easily be secrets passages in the surrounding areas aswell. Why weren't they there doing the first game? During the events of the climax a lot of ancient magic was released, do to this the castle has changed being somewhat "alive" all the floo flames have disappeared and a ton of secret have appeared instead. I think you could still travel using floo powder but only to and from a few fireplaces around the map.
@@lidular I’d love to see more secret passages! I still like the convenience of the floo network.. but maybe we could have a bit less of them, so we still have to traverse most of the map and think twice before venturing out
Also if we have Sebastian not sent to Azkaban as an option. There's so much that can be done. Like besides a possible romance option. Sebastian is one of few you can tell about the ancient magic too. Perhaps he (or Natty) can be your new confidant with Prof Fig's death. Perhaps he wants to protect the MC...and help them to do more good. To make up for everything.
@@SashGirl34 there will be a lot of double-edged swords there for sure. Cuz if we don’t send Seb to Azkaban that means he is not punished for what he’s done, that leaves out possibility for him going even crazier with the dark magic, so as we lol
@@BenjaminSnow I talked to him afterwards. He said he regrets what he's done. And ANNE basically disowns him. That's punishment in itself. And Omisis is angry at him. So he basically lost most of his support. And sending them to Azkban is a fate worse than death because of the Dementors. Especially you go there for quest if you pick Hufflepuff. And it's so horrible. I picked it the first time I played. Second time Slytherin. And Sebastian is a fan favorite. So most won't
@@BenjaminSnow To me Sebastian just went to far with him Ambitions. And his uncle to me is at fault. He was abusive. Never positive. And add his an EX AUROR. He should know better to all the stuff he did. And HIS UNCLE was the one that attacked first.
@@BenjaminSnow It will also depends on your choice with Sebastian. I mean you make the main character 'evil' by the end for example. I refused. Eyes glowing red. Creepy. But I think most see him as a good person...and want him to redeem himself. Like I want him to be forgiven by Anne.
I want there to be some closure for why officer singer wouldn’t do anything, like you can’t convince me she wasn’t corrupt. Also if I can’t go on more adventures with poppy I’m gonna riot
But the second game should also use a system that links the first game choices and use them in the second game as well like if u turn in Sebastian or not and the end game sense as well so it influences the game a lil bit like they did with ur house and wand link
I think Anne will live. The stay in Azkaban will scar Sebastian even more, pushing him past the threshold. He will still try to cure Anne, but this time take it to even farther darker territory, he will realize the only way to save Anne is.. The Main Character's Ancient Magic. He will want it for himself, and thus become our villain/antagonist.
Idk.. I think the fact that we had choices at the end of the game (turning in Sebastian or not, release the power or not, etc.) means they're not going to continue that story line. How can they have a definitive start to the second story when it could have ended various ways? How are you supposed to sync your previous game choices to the new one? And if you don't, then what beginning are they supposed to go with? My feeling is that it will be an entirely different story. Either with your existing character or a completely new one.
most likely there will also be a cameo of a first year albus dumbledore since the first game starts in 1890 and dumbledore was born 1881 so at the start of the second game he is 10 years old
I just I thought of something; What if there was training arc like we find a wizard or witch who has ancient magic an we can learn from them. I mean the MC is still new with the ancient magic I mean sure he cast many spells with ancient magic but story wise they still needs to be train on how to use it properly.
Now that I think about it, MC has to live some where. Hogwarts students are sent home when the summer holidays begins. Hogwarts Legacy 2 could begin with introducing Main character’s house or apartment.
I would like it if we can have family members for the MC. Perhaps they live in a Hamlet somewhere. Maybe at least we can have family mentioned. And maybe she lives with someone else.
How many spells can the Ministry determined was cast by a wand? In the books we see just one, the last spell. Of if our wands can be queried similar to like a database can be queried, then can a specific spell can queried (such as an unforgivable spell)? If the Ministry can generate a list of spells our wands have ever cast, or be able to determine that an unforgivable was cast, then that can be pretty bad for our characters as I think most players have used an unforgivable. Essentially that would make us all fugitives.
I don't think Sebastian can go back to Hogwarts but he could be accepted to Durmstrang. Perhaps we can have two playable characters in the sequel and two magical schools to explore. If we turned Sebastian in I can't imagine him being released from Azkaban. Wizarding law is surely more strict than ours and it's the 19th century. I suppose he could find an unexpected ally in someone interested in ancient magic, wanting to use his connection to MC to learn how to use this power. He is offered a place in Durmstrang where he can study the Dark Arts as he desired in exchange for access to ancient magic. This leads to a reunion of MC and Sebastian where they both have to choose their paths. What makes it more interesting is that MC can't reveal his ability to control ancient magic and if it's exposed then teaming up with Sebastian might be the only way out of a situation where he would be the most wanted person in the world.
I could see the looming dark threat that is the catalyst in the beginning and why you go on ministry missions has something to do with another witch/wizard who can use ancient magic!? Idk
As long as quitadge is there, they do the same great job on part 2 as they did for the 1st part, and they don't make my choices in the 1st game not mean anything I will be happy
You forgot mention the 3rd part of Hogwarts Legacy based on the 7th year of Hogwarts. In the second part of Hogwarts Legacy, maybe we shall get into the triwizards tournament and for the third part maybe we could get into ministry of magic...
I'm a noob, and this is my first RPG game, so forgive me if I seem to be asking a stupid question. How would a sequel work with our established characters? Wouldn't we be starting the game as an already, very powerful witch or wizard? How would that character grow and develop in a sequel? I can see using the old NPGs or in-world characters. But wouldn't the character that we play need to start out fresh? Does our character lose their power and have to start their magical journey over? That would be a bummer. But an 11-year-old would seem like a right fit either. Adults couldn't relate and a character that young...well...by the end we would have a near-omnipotent child. Well, I guess I should finish watching this video. Perhaps my questions will be answered.
I really love this concept. Whatever they come up with for the sequel, I just hope they bring more depth to the story than how Legacy ended up being. I loved Legacy, but in the end it felt more like a wide puddle at first glance that’s only an inch deep when you look closer. I would like to see more consequences to our choices, more meaningful interaction with companions, and more rewarding exploration in Hogwarts. I’d like to think that they’re planning on fleshing out these concepts more, as the main thing that brought people to the game, exploring a detailed Hogwarts, is going to already feel played out unless you offer more than what the first game did. Hopefully the first games success will provide them with more resources to deliver on this and the inevitable high expectations everyone will have.
Many games have done this before. It’ll either sync to the memory in your console or PC oooooorrrrr you’ll get conversation prompts to decide what you did
Ouch😢 dont get me started on that one, when my heartstrings are barely recoverd from the relic argument. Thats a place you get to see both of them show teeth. But its just a tear bringer when storytellers are pulling that card.
I'm new to this game read on Stream Community website There are 4 achievements about finding the chamber! Before you ask. Not the chamber of secrets another chamber but those achievements say find that chamber in 4 separate Houses of Hogwarts Ravenclaw Slytherin Hufflepuff Gryffindor. Asking any of you are there any separate achievements for playing this game on the four seperate houses one by one?
@@gabrielivan2538 each house has a unique quest as part of a main story involving Jackdaw and the missing pages. I think that’s what it refers to. I have a video on my channel addressing those quests, but be aware of spoilers
Thanks @@BenjaminSnow Dude also just looked up on Google short answer yes there is a achievement the Gamers own main Characters has to complete the game 4 times on 4 separate houses.
I always wondered if we get to meet young Dumbledore since he attended hogwarts around this time maybe in the second year it would be cool. I don’t how involve he would be maybe he would be a side quest.
Whatever comes I will be happy for it as long as we finally get romantic options since the last game, we played the 15-year-old, unable to have those options but now in the second game the character is 16 so they could put that in the game.
If we won't have Grindelwald boss fight, I'm going to be disappointed... Honestly, I just hope for bigger magical world.. to visit france, or even just diagon alley and etc

Hi Everyone,
I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal!
I would also wish for:
- More spells: Not only usefull ones.
I don’t see why he has reason tho?
A good parallel to Albus and Grindelwald.
YES YES YES YES this is exactly what should happen. Otherwise it will never feel like there was a payoff and he has reasoning.
I hope that the protagonist re-encounters the keepers in the sequel
This wand was supposed to have only one purpose - to let us enter the containter of ancient magic below Hogwarts.
And thank you for putting a Hogwarts Founder Tournament instead of trying to force the Triwizard Tournament into the storyline - I'm honestly sick of having to remind people that the last Triwizard Tournament was in 1792 and wasn't reinstalled until 1994
fr
I’ve read an article about this, the Definitive Edition. It’s not officially confirmed by the developers, but due to the popularity of Hogwarts Legacy, it’s quite possible. I really hope this will new DLC will be released. We definitely need new content before the second game
yeah like 10 hours long with new quests and activities and probably next year already
Sequel is in the works already!
My take on Sebastion is that finding out Ann was cursed by a wizard and killing his uncle turns him into an anti-dark magic crusader and starts what is essentially a witch hunt (irony) against his fellow students, including the protagonist.
@Emrys_The_Gay_Auror thank you
I'd love to see Hogwarts Express.

@@brandonosis94 thanks! I’m sure they’ve got something amazing cooking for us
I was opposed to continuing the story of the 1st game since I never really cared about any of the characters but this gives me hope that it could actually be really compelling.
The theme of Harry potter on which the whole wizarding world was built upon is that murder is the highest of the crimes (some exception are there like
"assisted unaliving" in case of Dumbledore and snape) and murder rips your soul internally (even if you don't make a horcrux), and the only way to not let that soul reap or to heal the soul is to show and experience painful remorse of your action.
Here's what I think would make sense:
Following the hypothetical story of this video, Sebastian would come to ask/demand MC (main character) to use Ancient Magic to try and save Anne while she's still alive, the same way Isidora tried to save her father in the prequel.

@@BenjaminSnowno not those 😂
One thing we need is to reveal is the origin of the ancient magic users and what would happen if MC found out truth about their powers., like they are all related or something.
I think a good villain for a future Hogwarts Legacy game could be something like Amon from The Legend of Korra season 1: someone with the ability to take magic away from wizards, virtually turning them into squibs
i wonder why you think this would be a good idea in the harry potter univers
@@PuffJiI wonder why you think it’s a bad idea, to be honest. Why isn’t this a good idea? I’d like to see. Do share.
@@Opalescape cuz they use magic their not benders

I love this concept so much, its much the same as one other youtuber were on about theme wise with mc having to go on a moral journey with a light parth or dark. And this and the other both sounds really good since i will agree it feels natural for mc to be tested on their morals after the start where mc is sumpling around like a newborn+found their footing in the wizarding world. So it just feels like now is a good time to continue to the fun and interesting part of a story. The pull of each side of ones morals😉😋
It would be fun if they included more of ominis's story since it would be an intersting setup of two dark sides with him and seb but ominis gets to show the lighter/good side in the sense of standing by his own moral and refuse his familie/the dark.
Either way, whatever the case may be, I think we all agree that the wait will certainly be the most painful part of this.

A great hypothesis on HL 2, Ben. I'm totally on board. In the interim; I can't wait to get whatever WB/Avalanche graces us with, in the forthcoming Definitive Edition DLC.
I feel like you were too thorough with this Ben!
I feel like I already played your sequel with this breakdown 😅
I want to communicate not only with the boys from Slytherin, but also with other companions and students of Hogwarts.
@@katshi8197 for sure!
Yea and I want to see more of characters that were wasted like Gareth, Amit, Andrew Larson etc
I'd also love to have Natty work with me on wandless magic and maybe become an unregistered animagus
Wouldn't mind seeing something from our Ravenclaw companion but that would be tough. He's quite under developed compared with the others
I’d like a dorm where I can customize it by buying things from a shop. Just going shopping and hanging out with friends getting butterbeer.
If Sebastian goes on a villan arc. It would be cool to see ominis and sebastian fight to the death
@@orange6254 that will be intense

It’s the sound a cat makes before it throws up 😆
But hey that series of events can definitely happen too and she’ll become as if she’s been brought back to life with a resurrection stone 🤔

Just imagine we can buy dress robes...and we can pick a date.
I just hope the second game shows a little bit more love towards Ravenclaw my favorite house.
@@RobertWWD definitely!
Either with your existing character or a completely new one.
most likely there will also be a cameo of a first year albus dumbledore since the first game starts in 1890 and dumbledore was born 1881 so at the start of the second game he is 10 years old
@@thomasblack33 that is also a likely scenario, but I’m not certain how the story would evolve with him. But maybe he’ll be just there..
The game devs watching this like "write that down, write that down!"
We need a 200% resolution scale option....
I just I thought of something;
What if there was training arc like we find a wizard or witch who has ancient magic an we can learn from them. I mean the MC is still new with the ancient magic I mean sure he cast many spells with ancient magic but story wise they still needs to be train on how to use it properly.
Wonderful.
I can't wait to see the official version of the sequel story.
They should add a hard mode and call it "Bloody Hell" in honor of ron weasley
@@James-m3n hah love this!
I really think Quidditch would make the game unplayable and buggy. Too much time and effort
8:24 that could be interesting considering im a slytherin in the game
You forgot mention the 3rd part of Hogwarts Legacy based on the 7th year of Hogwarts.
In the second part of Hogwarts Legacy, maybe we shall get into the triwizards tournament and for the third part maybe we could get into ministry of magic...
What if the Azkaban prisoners brake Sebastian out and he falls through the ancient magic portal and becomes the new voldemort😮
Dude I literally just finished the game for the second time
I'm a noob, and this is my first RPG game, so forgive me if I seem to be asking a stupid question.
@@The_GlitchWitch yea, the sequel has a lot of potential!
I wanna see Anne returning, weather she becomes a student or just a villain
How would the game know what ending you had by the end of the first game? I think a DLC would've been better for that exact reason
thats the whole point they can
Many games have done this before. It’ll either sync to the memory in your console or PC oooooorrrrr you’ll get conversation prompts to decide what you did
Mass effect did this like a decade ago
@ dw let them wonder
Don‘t you think there will be anything around dumbledore who will be in his 1st year?
Sebastian in azkaban for using dark magic. . . Meanwhile the player character is crussioing hundreds before casting the green light on em. Logical
Very tight knit. Good job 👍
@@joemachado33 I never heard that expression but thank you sir! 😁
Bro this is very interesting! I hope HL2 has a great storyline, better than the first
We need a multiplayer pvp and we most defitnely need co-op
Imagine a fight between ominis and Sebastian
@@chamseddinemahmoud27 oof, seeing two friends turn on each other will a painful thing to watch
Would also be cool if we can get kicked out of hagworts as well if we become evil after a sertian point of bad actions or using the forbidden spells
If we won't have Grindelwald boss fight, I'm going to be disappointed...
Honestly, I just hope for bigger magical world.. to visit france, or even just diagon alley and etc
I’d honestly not be surprised if they just skipped past this and started with a new cast of characters lol
I want that we don't have character creation just pre made one with a name
They should hire you for the storyline!
@@missDRAMACUPCAKE thank you 😅
I desperately want to travel with companions all the time, and have more banter! I would also love the morality system! Also, I really want Sebastian to date my character… I love him.
