when someone subscribes i dont get the alert, i tried using both websites and have followed every step. It only works when i hit test or emulate.

Hi there, thanks for reachign out!
If they are only showing up when you test, you may have to check to see if you logged in to the account (youtube/twitch) that you are streaming from.
If they don't know which channel to "listen" to then they can't display the alerts.
Let me know if that helps and we can trouble shoot further if not!
