- After a break from travelling and visiting my friend in Plettenberg Bay, it's time to hit the road again. And what a fantastic first day of riding again!! The ride led me over the 7 passes road and Montagu Pass, to Oudtshoorn - the ostrich capital of the world. Not too far from here are the wold famous Cango Caves, where I got a very special tour. It blew my mind.

Thank you all for watching the premiere with me and the live chat!! Pretty cool way to come back to UA-cam :D I've missed you. From next week, I'll be back with 3 episodes per week again, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. LET'S GO!!!
Welcome back Noraly! Looking forward to more adventures....watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Well come back & thanks for everything. Good luck 👍
You're welcome here at anytime!
Very nice to see you and beautiful South Africa again. Looking forward to the next one.
As a South African I'm happy scrolling through the comments and seeing people from all over the world discover our beautiful country through your lens. We are really blessed to have such a diverse country and great wildlife to top it off.
That's great comment Fellow South African
My new neighbor here in the northern mountains of Georgia (USA) is from South Africa and encouraged me to watch this whole series. it is great. Wonderful scenery in South Africa. I lived in Liberia briefly when I was 16 (1962) and it has been interesting to see it again in this series. I enjoyed visiting Las Cuevas de Pileta just north of Ronda, Spain. They are in a hill above a farm and contain ancient paintings.
Spectacular views of Cango Caves! We've visited these caves before, but getting to see the special guided tour by a geologist was even better. Thank you Noraly for this showcase of SA wonders to the world. Also makes us appreciate the diversity we have in one country...
For those of us who have been there, its no surprise, but always a delight, to see the caves. The new lighting seems cool, my mental image was created before LED lighting. The guide is cool. I saw water in those pools waaay back, like 18 years ago.
It always takes me about an hour to watch Noraly's vlogs, with Google maps and Wikipedia open on the other screen. Love to experience places I probably won't be able to visit. Thanks Noraly, my favorite YT channel - ItchyBoots
So true... says I as I binge through!!
Oh wow, me too. Except of course in South Africa ( and some of West Africa) where I've been to about 70% of the places more than once in my lifetime. During Apartheid it was difficult for us to "get out" so we travelled throughout SA pretty much every holiday, and my dad had a good job with company cars and customers to see and entertain throughout most of SA, so my teen years were great for holidays. THe ne w South Africa the economy makes it more difficult for locals to afford to travel for holidays, those who can go abroad. Sorry for rambling.
I'm so glad that you are back! I am a teacher in the USA and I currently have a student in class from Johannesburg South Africa. I have been having great discussions with him about your adventures and where you have been. Please keep it up.
The cave expert tour guy seems passionate. The right person for the job.
I was born in Belgium, joined the merchant marine and lived and travel about everywhere on the planet but if there is one place that makes me homesick now it is definitely South Africa. I had the pleasure to live there almost ten years and I can say that they were the best years of my live. Enjoy your stay there.
For us South Africa is second home. We have been here for 12 years. What a country minus the crime
Ahh Peter - nice to hear you say that - we know you always come back ;)
Come and visit us again.
What a pleasant demeanour the guy showing you around the caves has, so softly spoken and clearly informative. Good to see an Itchy Boots Exclusive !

I had never thought of traveling to South Africa... until you arrived there and documented so many beautiful places. Now it seems worth the flight.
You will have a great time , I promise you. Got your flight yet??
The guide explains all about the caves. The qualified Geologist politely keeps quiet and lets him continue so her viewers get the tour. 😊
That's what I was thinking, norally is great lady
I was hoping she would flex a bit :)
His name is Steve Mouton, and elsewhere in the comments he says he did know that she's a geologist, but they agreed that he will just 'do his thing' as tour guide.
@@AnalediAfrika That's cool - keep it real!
I was thinking this as I watched, and am impressed because a lot of people nowadays love to brag and speak like now-it-alls. She knew she’d learn some things too; we as geologists don’t know it all! Humility is certainly a trait we all need to regain. Very nice video. Makes me miss Kentucky.
Norally: You REALLY opened our eyes to the beauty of South Africa...unbelieveable!
Norally: NICE to have you back. You REALLY opened our eyes to the beauty of South Africa. South Africa is the coolest place ever. Please don’t leave us again and yes LET'S GO 😍💕and stay safe.
183k views at this moment while only 25k likes only? The least we can do to help this wonderful motorcycle channel is to hit the like button always for all her videos. And even better is to also comment something 👍👍
Beautiful footage of Montague Pass, almost my backyard. I am off Seven Passes Road. The Outeniqua tar pass was in the background. I was up there today on one of my classic road bikes. Enjoy “my” area of SA that I am lucky to call home. I do hope you plan on Swartburg Pass and the road to Die Hell. The Elands Pass at the end of that ride is iconic. An easy day trip from Oudtshoorn. Cango was spectacular. I am fortunate to have done the adventure tour there in the past. You are truly a wonderful tourism ambassador for our country!
Was hoping she'd go into George, where "our" CJ Stander is from 🏉. Sadly for Munster and Ireland, he has announced he's going home.
Was hoping she continued on a bit to Meirings poort....
I LOVE those caves! Was a tour guide and on rescue team for caves around johannesburg for a number of years and there are very, very few that come close to the Cango or Okavango caves in South Africa. To see them exclusively like that must have been MAGICAL!
Noraly, I like so many others, am so glad to have you back after your much needed break in Plett, where I had many epic holidays. Wow, 23 hours in and +20 K comments and 117 K views - epic. I'm ex Cape Town, now in Scotland for the past 10 years and your trip is bringing back so many fond memories for me, of all these areas you are covering. Like many tourists, you are seeing more of South Africa than 90% of the locals ever will in their life times - sad really, when you consider what beauty is right on their doorsteps. Beautiful camera work and such a relaxed and warm delivery, thank you. Safe journeys and good health.
The sad individuals who gave a thumbs down must be so unhappy with life. How can you not like Itchy Boots Adventures and these beautiful caves?
Her online competition, I imagine. It's still good for the algorithm. It's 2024 now, and we don't see it.
Wow! You sure packed three episodes worth into this one! Epic drone shots, local cuisine, AND geology? Welcome back indeed.
I'm so glad we got to see the cave. The formations were amazing!
Noraly it’s not a problem importing parts from Europe for your bike. In South Africa we have a saying “ a Boer maak a plan” ...meaning anything can be made or invented for the problem you have. Just let the bike guys know what you need and it will be expertly made for you. 👍🏻
Dis waar lol
I had a lot of respect for noraly before. Then she puts the camera away for two weeks to spend time with a friend. Now I have total respect for noraly. take care of yourself and stay safe 🍻🌲 💪🏻👩🏼🏍
😍introduce friend to us 😍
I agree, it always is good to invest some quality time with a friend. But it's finally time to get on the tarmac and off-road again!
Welcome back ☺️ missed you. Wonderful view of the world 🌍
Everything doesn’t need to be videoed . Something’s should be private and just enjoyed ,and not work. Thanks for everything.
Through your eyes and journey I cannot help but fall in love with South Africa absolutely beautiful and amazing country you have uncovered for it’s unknown attractions
Excellent video. The guide in the caves was brilliant, deserved much more praise than he got.
Still the best vicarious travel experience on the internet. And something new every episode. "See what's on the menu there, might be ostrich...."
South Africa is the coolest place. So many attractions. That cave looks like something in a Tomb Raider game.
No, the Tomb Raider game looks something like those Cango Caves - get it right!
Nice to have you back. Great that you took some real time off. South Africa is now my new favorite place. So many great adventures!
The best is yet to come dear Noraly! Our Western Cape awaits you.
Best episode so far, over all seasons. Just epic. Please don’t leave us again 🥺 🥳🇺🇸
Yes and No! She MUST leave us from time to time, just to be able to continue her incredible good job 😉
So great to have you back Itchy Boots. Today's video brought back so many wonderful memories. What a country South Africa is.
Thanks for showing us the cave. I could spend days down there.
“Especially for Itchy Boots” - a nice guy, who knows a marketing opportunity!
Me too. I probably would have been stuck in the narrow bits. 😵
There is no doubt that it is a country that has everything. Very good🔝
THAT CAVE WAS OFF THE CHARTS. glad you were able to see it without people all around. LUCKY
You can always count on Noraly to bring high quality footage to her channel, The entertainment value is off the charts. So glad to see you back Noraly.
Wow, just mint, the caves , the scenery, how can you beat that? You should get some kind of award from South Africa government for portraying the country and people to the rest of the world 🌎 you have received nothing but kindness for the people you have met. Well done 👏 Stay safe Noraly 👍
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really enjoyed this video. Brings back happy memories. Lived in SA for 60 years. Had a small farm near Oudtshoorn. Now living near you in The Netherlands.
The majority of Bike UA-cam channels borrow a bike for a day then write a review as if they know everything about the bike. Noraly wants to clock up 10,000Ks before she thinks she has earned the right to review the bike. welcome back Noraly.
You've got to love a woman that gets excited about an X ring chain :) Great to see you back, recharged, refreshed and refulgent.
Dammit this is my own country and never knew off all these places you show us.
Such a huge range of different landscapes in S. Africa. One minute you could be riding through the Highlands of Scotland, the next you could easily be riding through the Australian outback and then riding through lush green forests of Southern Germany.
The guide at the crystal caves was very informative & helpful to us itchy viewers these incredible ancient formations.
Great to see you back on the road tour. You deserve a break. Your videos are edited perfectly with great narration. I had a road bike for years but watching you from the start I bought a small dual sport to see the back country out of traffic and solo. Thanks for the incentive since I am 76. Be safe and continue your excellent videos.
plate and engineguards -max one day manufacturing - WHAT A CAVE!!!!! holy shit!!! nature is amazing and breathtaking!!!
That drone footage was just spectacular. What a beautiful country.
The scenery captured by your drone in the mountain pass, and with you moving down the road in the shot, simply left me gobsmacked. The cave as well. What a wonderful journey you are on!
After Bolivian mines, Itchy can say "Nervous ? Not at all !" to any caves in the world. As for me, I was sweating and breathing hard just watching you go through. Incredible natural formations, well curated by the guide. Thank you Itchy, for bringing us another priceless video. All the power to you.
Even though those feather things aren’t used to dust feathers, they are, in fact, called ‘feather dusters’! 🤗
In SA we have tons of great engineering shops who can slap you together a bash plate in next to no time
I must say, the local "guides" on your stops are really doing my country proud. From the woman at the wild cat sanctuary to Thabisa on the Wild Coast, to this caveman, they've all been top notch. Loving your videos so much.
This is what is called as living life. You are actually doing great. We are here in infinite lockdown and fear of going out.
Thanks for showing such beautiful places.
THOSE CAVES AND THE EXPLANATION FOR ITS FORMATION IS JUST WONDERFUL. AND WALKING THROUGH THOSE NARROW TUNNELS ARE JUST BIZZARE.
Oudtshoorn looks like spots in California, I'm always fascinated that the earth has it's doppelgangers!
@# Mac I say the same thing about California! I don't take that rare fact for granted. I hope one day to travel to South Africa, only to find I'm in a mirror image of home.
The Floor Jansen of motorcycles is back!!
Itchy Boots never ceases to amaze and thrill her loyal followers. Noralys life journey tells a wonderful story and we ALL do appreciate the hard work she does to bring so many along for the ride. Thank You Itchy Boots 👍🏼 👏 🌎 👏 👍🏼
This South African trip has been incredible, and these amazing caverns have really added spice to the journey. All the best for your travels...I have decided to buy a new Honda 300 Rally as a result of watching your adventures over the past 3 motorcycles... Thank you!
Oooo, oooo, this looks good already ! More geology, more better !
From Wiki: "The "Adventure Tour" consists of crawling through narrow passages and climbing up steep rock formations guided by small lights. The caves contain halls and limestone formations (on both tours) as well as small passages on the Adventure Tour. The smallest passage that tourists will have to pass through on the Adventure Tour is just under 15 cm to exit."
WE MISSED YOU!
WELCOME BACK.
I think that was your BEST VIDEO YET!
Such breathtaking scenery with the drone follow me shots and the cave shots. Also your pride in Savanah.
LOVE IT LOVE IT. GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY!
The most impressive cave formations that I have ever seen. Thank you.
Stunning caves. So glad I’m visiting Noraly’s previous adventures while waiting for the new 2023 drops.
Hi Noraly, we're counting down the hours!
Anyway, I'm taking the liberty to, on behalf of all 728 thousand people following your travels, wish you a very happy birthday for Sunday 2 May, with many more safe and carefree kilometers on the roadways of Mother Earth!
Enjoy🎂!!
My birthday is 30th of June 🙊😅 thanks though!! 😜
that was smart Eric...perfect way to get her to tell us her Bday.😄😃😆
Best wishes on your Birthday Noraly ..... your videos fill us with joy and hope during these days ...
Oops! Apologies everyone. It's NOT Noraly's birthday tomorrow 2 May. I googled her birthdate, and a Wiki link stated that she was born on 2 May 1988 in Rotterdam, which is now obviously incorrect. Rule 101, always double-check your facts.
So apologies Noraly, you'll be flooded with birthday wishes now, and on 30 June. But even though I was two months too early, the wishes still apply😁
@@ericsa2636 She wasn't born in Rotterdam either, as far as I can tell.
Dear Noraly, I'm so happy to have you back ! This was a great video to return with. Savannah looked amazing . The new chain is a beauty. Just a reminder that they stretch quickly when new, so keep an eye on it for looseness. I'm so happy to see you got some fuel bladders. I was worried you might get stuck on the roadside. The Montagu Pass was gorgeous !
What incredible scenery ! I must say , that the cave system you were in was Majestic !!! I thoroughly loved it. I have been in several caves in my time, but none so impressive and ornate as this one. The little house you stayed in wasn't very impressive from the back, but, wow, the front and interior were fantastic. If your engine cases didn't get busted open on the Sani Pass, I'd say you've got nothing to worry about. Savannah has good ground clearance and suspension. I think it's a great idea for you to get a larger fuel tank ! Very smart idea , imho ! Thank you so very much for taking us along on your excellent and exciting adventures. So kind of you ! Welcome back, All Our Love to Our Sweet Noraly !
Thank you Noraly for showing us such a beautiful places !! Ride safe. Love from Switzerland🇨🇭🇨🇭
Love that she let the guy explain when in reality she probably knows more about rocks n their making
I have been watching her videos for so long that I start my morning off with a cup of coffee while watching her do a ride-along on her bike. I wonder how in the world does she ride while flying her drone to capture her going down the road and passages.
👍 Think she is a bit of a cool cat. 🕳️
It's called a 'follow me' option. The drone will automatically stay a certain distance away.
The peace of the open road or should I say the wild tracks so beloved of our charming, brave ,tough and ever so sweet Itchy Boots.Bon Voyage Noraly.
Filming, content, editing and presentation most enjoyable as you continue to travel with the 700,000+ pillion passengers. Thanks for all the happiness you bring 👍😀
I’ve went through these caves in the late 1960’s. Absolutely gobsmacking. 🥰🥰🥰
Welcome back! It's always a good idea to replace chains and sprockets as a set. Nothing will ruin a chain more than worn sprockets and vice versa.
And, in the U.S., we call the feather things that you dust with "feather dusters". ;-)
This is probably your most spectacularly beautiful episodes to date.
“...all of that takes so much time and effort, and I just want to ride.” - my thoughts exactly.
That accommodation was very nice. The stone work on the cottage was exquisite.
Loved the cave, but it got a little claustrophobic in the tunnels.
Happy Trails
Life is incomplete when you are not around. Thank you for showing such a wonderful cave. Savannah is pretty clean and your jacket too :)
I`m a fan for over a year. Keep up the great work. I love the way locals react to your beauty and the fact that you`re a woman riding alone. The world is fantastic and thanks for proving it.
Those caves were quite impressive. You are pretty lucky to see them in person. An Itchy Boots exclusive, it was wonderful.
The caves are super-impressive. The portion that shined more than the rest reminded me of sugar. These videos are a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing them, Noraly. You are the greatest.
What a woman ,what a bike ,what a country . Outstanding ! 😁🇬🇧
What😍😘A MANDEE had she been INTRODUCED 😍
The most beautiful cave I have ever seen Thank you for sharing ❤
Happy to have you back and glad to see how much you are enjoying my country
.👍🇿🇦👍
South Africa is so freaking cool!
Love the caving footage Noraly! I've been a caver (32 years) longer than I've been a biker (19 years). I sometimes travel to NSS conventions (in the US) on one of my motorcycles... Thanks again! 🇺🇸
I lived in George for three years or so when my kids were young and we visited the Cango Caves often and I have been up the devils chimney, it was very tight, I remember it well, luckily I was relatively slim in those days! Being in that area was probably the best time of my life in terms of living environment, so so beautiful. Fantastic to relive it with Noraly.
Park Ranger:" I don't normally do this" .... but since you're as stunning as the scenery I'll make an exception.
Yes mate. I get the feeling you and me wouldn't get to see it.
@@markrainford1219 I've been there before.
With 730k subscribers this is advertising and promotion like nothing else for virtually no cost. Not making the effort would have been stupidity.
Oh my God...stunning !!! Nature at its finest. Unbelievable !!
Wow incredible video, fantastic photography, I can't begin to understand how you do drone shots while riding, brilliant and what a place south Africa is ☺️
When you follow Itchy Boots, you never know what natural wonders you will see. Thank you for this video.
Yes our brave Dutch girl is going online again. And may we all enjoy her evenings again. Nice to have you back Noraly I hope you are rested.
Greetings from the Netherlands
There she is!! Good to see you all rested up after the kings birthday, onto the road again. Nice touch re-introduction to Savannah. Like the extras, good upgrades. Not only does Savannah look cleaned up and washed. You look fresh and rested, good for you. Nice seeing all that green again running along the red stripe of road enjoying your camera balance swinging in and out of the curves ... yep, we missed you. Ah, and the drone (love it if you gave the drone a name). Sweet accomadations. Wonderful having lunch with you getting to know the local cuisine. Interesting bat caves, especially the organ pipes. Liked the advertisement story, "Charity Water". Good having you back. CU soon, stay safe, ride with care ...
As a South African and a motorcyclist for many years i'd like to give my take on why you couldn't get the accessories for your bike off the shelf. We here prefer larger capacity bikes due to the distances being travelled and even as good as that CRF is, I know no one that would spend money on accessories on a small capacity bike...BTW I love your channel and I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in our beautiful country!
Wtf??? Loco
That seems to be the case here in Europe too. However, if I had a choice for serious off roading I would rather have a lightweight bike like Savanah any day. My BMW K75 (750cc) is great for long distance touring, but she becomes a bit of a handful when off roading in the Atlas mountains in Morocco (or the mountains in behind the coast here in Spain). I reckon Noraly has made a great choice of bike for her itinery (and dare I mention her gender and smaller build?).
@@nealeburgess6756 yes, I am not a biker. I am a little ol granny from Southern California, USA, so what would I know anyway, but obviously Savannah is enough bike for Noraly. I would hate to see her trying to get a BIG OL HARLEY thru some of the squeeky passages she has gone thru. So, it is inconvenient, to say the least that she is unable in some cases to keep up to speed on TLC for Savannah. In my opinion, unsolicited or not!
I thought South Africa was dangerous.
The country is beautiful.
Thank you for the beautiful movies!
That “dusty thing” is a “feather duster” 😂 I really enjoy your channel 👌👌👌
What an entrance! As if we didn’t know how good you are with your vlogs you expertly drop this little video-bomb in our laps. Welcome home Noraly!
Amazing, beautiful, stunning, awesome, mind blowing. And the video was ok too. 😉 Your formula for presenting your content is a well balanced mix of your daily travels across our miraculous planet and it’s become world famous!
I hope you enjoyed your well deserved downtime with Mandy. Good opportunity to get Savannah cleaned & serviced for the next adventure.
I hardly need tell you to ride safe, you’re a more experienced rider than most of us. I need a bigger bucket for my list thanks to you dropping new places in it - daily. 😩
You deserve to reach the magic million by the end of Season 5. 👍m!
Beautiful video, Miss Boots! That cavern is something I would never have seen but for you. I'm excited for you coming to America one day. Carlsbad Caverns awaits you, along with many other geological wonders. Be safe.
Who are all these idiots who seem to follow this Chanel only to give it a thumbs down? If they don’t like what they see F off for cripes sake!. The experience to see these caves and see Noraly ride in this beautiful country is nothing but amazing! Love your Chanel Noraly, enjoy the adventure
Excellent as Always. I'm glad You took some time for Yourself !!
Thank you Noraly, from someone who travelled some of the routes you took in South Africa as a travel journalist! It looks like you stayed at De Zeekoe outside Oudtshoorn. The best part of the Cango Caves is viewable only in their little movie theatre. It was sealed off after they filmed it to keep it from deteriorating. Really incredibly beautiful.
Missed it by 20 minutes and already thousands have liked it!!
Will all these 'likers' have been watching it?
Thanks for the awesome video. Gratitude for bringing far flung parts of the world into my home. These are places I will never see before the dirt nap. The Cango Caves were amazing. I only have one semester of geology. Just enough though to make me appreciate how long it took to create that beauty. As always I am so impressed with your production quality.
Give she the iron butt award, that is a lot of miles in her travels. Respect
What? lol
I think she has earned the diamond butt award. I get back from a 150 mile ride and sore for a week lol
@@superhawk1382 me too and I ride a freakin Concours14
FANTASTIC! Man, I am so sorry to have missed the live stream, darn it all! Ah well, next time. WELCOME BACK NORALY! Playing catch up with your vlogs here...
~This ride was EXTRAORDINARY!! Loved every second of it! Absolutely adore when your drone is flying above and behind you as it's soooo cool to see you riding thru from that perspective. Awesome mtns you rode thru, then we get to see what you had for a local and very complete meal with the added bonus of the magnificent caves!!
~~W😍W girl, you packed a LOT of beauty into this video! Bravo!! Ride on and thank you for you! May God continue to bless you and Savannah, keeping you both safe and healthy! 👋😀👍🏍
Awesome to see parts of South Africa that I've never seen before
Caves were unbelievably beautiful
Wow that cave was phenomenally beautiful. Never seen anything like it before. Beautiful cinematic coverage
I like how she looks at the house and is immediately back on the bike 👍 atta girl
