Clips I saw live: 0:27 - Imagine being able to sit in a luxurious, old private car on one of the most iconic trains in the world, must be the ultimate dream for any train geek. 1:38 - Nice bonus of a 10 engine power move while awaiting for the Chief to arrive. 13:20 - While waiting for the Chief on Galesburg cam, this was the first train I saw on La Plata cam after putting it on my TV! Also that meteor on Big Ten cam at 3:03, that could be a Perseid meteor, as the annual meteor shower with the same name is at its peak this weekend.

I suppose everybody in America knows this but please pity this old Australian, but what were those dual cab engines in the consist of the train at the 23rd to 25th minute in? I see lots of dual cab locomotives here in Australia and around the world, but I don't remember any American engines of that type.
Good Grabbag today, nice footage of export engines in Roanoke VA I still remember when they had the air horn at the rail walk for people, don't remember if it was a Nathan or Leslie horn but I've got footage of My Son blowing the air horn years ago when He was younger and they had to remove it due to putting the Amtrak platform in!🛤🚂👍
What an absolutely beautiful horse! 🐎❤️
Assume you're talking about SJC, but why did she stop on the tracks ... some kind of dare??
Great stuff-loved the BNSF engineer “paddling” his locomotive west at Skykomish.
Not enough tractive effort will do that.......
Great to see Skykomish and those awesome cars!

hello virtual railfan it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Thank you. Where are the double cabs going, the Amtrak ballast cars are neat.
avem produse noi😃😃
23:25 very interesting seeing them actually on the tracks rather than flatcars, FRA must’ve made an exception or something, or they have decent crash worthiness
i tought because they are using the same gauge... and using flatcars for different gauge locos?
Can't wait to see the L&N and SAL/SCL , ACL
18:03 Are those Numbers Years or UN Chemical Numbers?
UN 1994 = Iron Pentacarbonyl
UN 2014 = Hydrogen Peroxide
UN 2022 = Cresol
Those three chemicals I don't think you would want to transport them together, but I don't really know....
Looks like a bad case of graffiti/vandalism. These cars haul vehicles.

Nice Video
All way's great work from you, Many thanks.
Wonder what kind of locomotives are under those covers
Why are they covered??
Protect the paint?
14:48 what is that big thing ?
21:00 I guess NS now has rights to paint "NYC" colors, even though I thought CSX got most of the old NYC properties.

What are the 10 orange, double--cabs, foreign units, classified number series,, or types,in Roanoke at 24:00+,??
They are GE ES30ACi's designed and built for Egyptian National Railways.

Did you find out what was under the peekaboo wrap?
Traction motor fire at 14:20?
Does anyone know where the Roanoke red and silver dubble cab engines are going
Why is that overlapping track in Galesburg in a wavy shape instead of just going straight across?
Double slip turnouts would have been a better choice but it's not a common practice on this side of the pond

According to an earlier Q&A, they're export locos for Egypt, presumably heading to a port for loading onto a ship.
@@desw9146 yup. WABTEC/GE ES30ACi units for ENR. They appear to be the last batch, built in June 2023
