Hey Hailey! Loving these videos. My wife and I are in the beginning process of possibly starting our own coffee trailer in the Knoxville, TN area. If you have any tips for startup, we would love to hear it. I am a long time coffee lover, so its something I am passionate about. Just would be awesome to hear the beginning process and how you got to where you are at now. Thanks!
My biggest piece of advice is to always reach out to your local health department before you get too far! Each county is so different and it will save you a lot of headache down the road. They usually connect you with an inspector, who will answer all of your questions along the way. I’m also a firm believer in starting small (with what you can afford) and building as you go! Good luck!
How did you go about buying your coffee equipment? I'm going to start purchasing and the next few days. I'm prepared to spend quite a bit, but obviously I would like to spend a lot less.
First thing I would look into is the local coffee mechanics in your area; nothing is worse than getting a machine that isnt easily serviced in case something happens. Beyond that it really depends on what you want to offer, traffic you expect, etc. Hope she can give you more insight on her thought process as well but those would be the first things I would figure out
Once you find a local roaster they can definitely help you find a good tech in the area. They’ll be your best bet for equipment/keeping it running right!
It's our motto. We strive to bring people together through coffee (build community) & be a safe space for creatives. I truly believe everyone is a creative person, just in their own way, so we like acknowledging that!
Just started. Bout my small 7x10 trailor im converting. Following you for tips. Need all the help I can get. My fam is there. Whats the best cap coffee machine for tiny trailor?
I really like your videos and I just pass insignia inspection and next week I have appointments with the health department! I’m just wondering I rent the same generator you have from home depot sounds to loud is it annoying for the customer or even for you or that’s the best option Thanks
We have a 'super quiet inverter generator' which makes a huge difference in noise level. Getting a long power cord helps a lot with noise so you can keep it further from your trailer, but we haven't had any issues with being able to hear people/don't get complaints about it.
@@haileypolidori5824 Oh ok that makes sense you save headache of dealing with a filtration system. I also run a mobile coffee trailer that I built and the reason I asked was because I ran in to issues with out water to my machine. Hope business is good for you guys. Thank you for the response
Glad this popped out on my algorithm! Coffee content and small talks with customers will always be therapeutic :)
Welcome!! Thanks for finding us 🫶🏻
That camera falling into the bin at 11:15 and looking straight up at you was somehow so cool
The chaos 😂
Hello
I appreciate your work. I hope you never stop what you love doing. I just had a query How do you power your coffee truck. ?
Currently we have a regular spot that we plug directly into. When we started out we used a predator generator!

Would you consider going over how you decided pricing for your events ?
What does creatives and community mean?

Where did you get the POS system and do you recommend it? How much was it? Thanks for the video!
I use square! This is one of their register options & it was around $700. They do take a fee from each sale, but I’ve loved how easy it is to use!
@@haileypolidori5824 Awesome, thanks!
Hi, what espresso grinder do you use
We have an Anfim Scody ii
Hello just out of curiosity; for your water supply into your espresso machine are you using a filtration system or RO?
We use 5 gallon jugs of purified drinking water that feeds up into our machine!

Can I ask which kind of hot chocolate do you use?
Which machine and grinder do you have?
The machine is a la marzocco lines AV 2 and the grinder is an Anfim Scody ii both have held up great!
Wow, they actually call it an "STFU" ? 🤣
They sure did 😂 It’s short for Standard Transitory Food Unit
The sound of your voice is barely audible (maybe it's me?)
