I’m at 590 Subscribers and 3,700 watch hours. It’s a lot of silly fun for me. 🎉 ~There’s a lot more I want to do. I suppose things will change, as I do more gardening videos. This past summer I had had injuries and feet challenges, so I wasn’t in the garden much (plus it got so hot and humid!🤪). Perhaps??? I’ll start a separate channel for gardening. (??) -I’m still debating that. 🙃 ~I love why you started your videos! 💕 -I wish you the very best! -You’re Great! 😀

I have been on YT more than a few years now and it took me about the same amount of time as you did to get monetized but you are definitely taking in more bourbon money than I am so congratulations Scott. Thanks for this Scott...I learned some things. I never look at my analytics beyond checking sub count and watch hours once in awhile. Boy, you are right about revenue being tied to watch time - your revenue is higher than mine at roughly half the subs. 😯
I actually really appreciate this video. It shows the details of monetizing. I too started my channel never intending to do anything with it. 5 years later and I still haven’t crossed the 1K mark! Haha oh well s**t happens! I’ve actually accepted the fact that I now use it for my own personal journey and a way to do summer my numismatic collection. I’ve seen TONS of channels mainly in the coin world come after me and skyrocket to success. I’m assuming they earn a decent amount on the channel. Anyhow, hope all is well buddy!
