hey youtube
Fake UA-cam def
TL;DR:
1. Write a script about something you know a lot about
2. Rewrite that script to be entertaining and build a relationship
3. Create a Thumbnail+Title that effectively communicates the videos idea and sparks curiosity
4. Find a friend who wants to edit videos for fee
5. Wait and see ... if it worked repeat ... if not identify why.
I'm mostly writing this to help myself remember 👍good job in the video.
same script on all these videos
@@mikwns3722 the basis premise of growth is always the same and it comes down to repetition and execution to see what works for you.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now -we wish whoever started this UA-cam journey achieves their dreams.
Thank you I appreciate it

Being a UA-camr is all about giving your viewers and subs the content they need in their life. Simple as that, same as business owners and large companies give us products we need in our life. Tough part can be starting your channel, and growing it eventually (My strategy is after I post something, I use a little bit of Famester to make my content go viral). This helps my content spread out everywhere, bringing more and more organic viewers day after day.
I agree with everything you said.👍
Done Please 🖤✅
i definitely agree with this. youtube is more of a hobby for me, but i do want some recognition in the process. but the main drive is inspiring others and showcasing what others in the same niche likely have not brought yet for the pleasure of the viewer
Being a UA-camr is apparently all about talking about being a UA-camr.
How does famester work
thank you for giving good info about UA-cam, i hope i would make it work
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 713 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
More strength bro
@@Detroitdean Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who are not fixated on tangible or external factors. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my UA-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now sending this, a Nurse and UA-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self.
I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
Congrats keep going you’ll go far
@JearBearProductions Thank you! Consistency is also really important for any growth. In fact, my bags were stolen not too long ago and I'm basically back to zero. This is just another challenge that I have to overcome. Setbacks are just part of life and so learning and growth. This is what my channel is all about. About being strong whatever life throws at me although it’s not always easy to stay strong especially during storms but at least try to take even little steps even when it gets tougher. Keeping in mind I'm not immune to challenges in life like everybody makes me focus on solutions. It sucks and I was feeling down for a few days after it happened but I chose to bounce back and start all over again after losing months' worth of work as my hard drives were in my stolen bags. 80% of my camera gears are gone but I recently bought new ones to keep going. Obviously, it will slow down the completion of my next video but as long as I am moving forward, that's all that really counts.

@@Ozzy-worsttasteHello, sorry are you a youtuber ?
You are lucky man...I am working hard but soon will get the results
Inspiring! I was told not to start my self-development UA-cam channel by someone I thought would support me. Did it anyway! To anyone working towards their dreams, don't give up. Keep on going! Hope we all become successful UA-camrs one day 💯
I tried spamming my family channels on Facebook but realized I need to overhaul my channel. And post slowly and wait, but who knows.
My first video is going live today at 12 and I had so many people close to me say don’t do it for years. Finally bought a mic and decided I want to have a community online of the topic I love.
@@TheHighRelease Good luck man! I just started uploading a let's play series and I hope my channel will grow as well because I really like making videos but I've never really done this so sometimes I'm afraid it'll be useless but I'm going to keep going and see!
@@Manudyne you got it man! Yeah I feel it’s easy to get in your head about how it will do, but when I’m exiting and creating I’m having so much fun. I feel like a kid again and time can go by without me realizing.
@@TheHighReleasejust subscribed to your channel! Hope you succeed! You got the chops and the voice for it.
For us new starters lets not give up on our dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Editing tip: when you zoom in or out, keep the eyes at the same level. It is very important.
To everyone who watching this video. Be consistent, have a knowledge and be patience. Someday our channel will be monetize.

@@royalobasi1938 you're welcome!!
Your quick success on UA-cam is truly impressive! It's amazing to see how your strategies paid off in just 4 days. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing your journey!

It does matter what quality gear you use, good luck if youre trying to blow up a channel using just your phone!
A phone can record in 4k, and most iPhones and later Samsung's have video stabilization.
Many great videos editors for filmmaking and highlight reels alike on the app store(s).
You just need to know what you're doing, and make the most of what you have.
@@CourtsideClips-pd2vt Yes its true, although depending on the kind of content though. iPhone is much better for static camera work, once you start moving it the quality dips substantially. The light levels matter too if you use a phone. There is significant drawbacks if you are trying to make professional channel content. But yes get started with what you have. Good luck with your channel mate!
@@hobocyclist Light levels (and light depth) can be tweaked in some professional video editors (probably not mobile editors, haha), so if you get a chea p PC that can handle editing, you'd be golden.
Thanks for the encouragement, and good luck with yours as well. Best of wishes to you!
Thanks for making this video and sharing your UA-cam journey. YT is hard especially for new creators. I'm still trying and not giving up to grow my channel. All the best for yours and everyone else!
Oh and now what do you have
your editing is next level
This is so insightful for a newer creator. So many videos skim over what they actually did but this was very genuine. Thank you

BRO LETS GO THANKS FOR THIS INFO HOW ARE YOU SO EPIC AND INSIGHTFUL! :) This is useful and I did recommend your content as informative and useful when it asked me the other day lol!
The last time I watched this I was at 19 subs, and that was only two weeks ago, thank you!
Which video editor do u use?? Also which software for thumbnail??
I love to heard the entrepreneurship and innovation!
I checked your channel and this video is a real banger. I'm happy it's the first I found from this channel. I also suscribe and can't wait to see what happens next.
Blowing up a channel seems so easy in this video, however for me only shorts worked. And my "normal" videos don't get as much recognition.
The way u made the indie game vs triple a games thumbnail and title was really smart well done
This is the Content Inc approach, it's awesome. Just subbed. Please make more Build In Public content like this about building this channel.
It takes courage to start at first place. I started it and very positive about it now....
Let us see where it goes... wish me all the best!
This is actually wild bro. I've see so many "Going Indie" Videos, and now I randomly stumbled across this video...
Beautiful and insightful video
Awesome! Keep moving.
Gotta keep it pushing
Dude you told everything people need to know in 11.50 . At first I taught this was clickbait but this is amazing. WP
Thank you Tyler for sharing this video.
First channel that has actually been honest and shown the other channel instead of just saying oh I did it but I'm not sharing it because it will screw the algorithm up for the channel.
so good - thank you for sharing!
Very intriguing video thanks for sharing
Really helpful, this helped. And here's one in exchange. Instead of saving the funds for a rainy day which only will get u ..... Rainy days I'd say save it for a joyous day, a day that demands an absolute celebration 🎉
8:57 This is such good insight. I never really thought about it that way but it makes so much sense
Thanks for this, I’m trying to build my channel I’ve been analyzing what works and what doesn’t and staying up late working on the channel and I haven’t seen any intensity yet but I believe if I stay consistent and critical of my own works and improve off of them then it will pay off.
The thumbnail for that first video looks amazing. Combined with the great title and it just had to explode! I will say though that thumbnails are wicked hard lol
It just shows it really is possible - thank you for posting this, as this will help a lot of new channels, like mine, when it comes to trying to build an audience and grow
This was very inspirational, thank you for sharing your journey
you're that youtuber! I came across that exact video, very good work G
I actually watch the video you mentioned here after this and I was really hooked throughout the video and I finally understood how your script really boosted that 1 video alone
I am sure it is hard. However, it is very rewarding when your idea works. You all really know what you are doing. That is the best start!!!
Super hype, super engaging and I'm inspired.
I've recently started my UA-cam channel on video/photo editing. I hope it grows fast. Thank you for this video!
I really enjoyed reading all comments after watching your video, its good that you feel comfortable in front of the camera, that is what I want to learn... anyway thanks for sharing Tyler🥰
Done Please 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I love the summary at the end! Maybe for increasing your watch hours & retention include at the end screen a transition sentence that links to another video of yours that is relevant to this one to keep the momentum going. I would have linked your highest video about thumbnails (1.5m video) since you also talk about the power of thumbnails in this video. You could have just said: „As you build momentum a UA-cam thumbnail can break or make a YT-channel like it did in our example; so watch this to learn more about it so you don’t make this mistake in the future!“ This way you would convert the current views to the next video creating more value for the community and increasing your views too. WIN-WIN situation😊
lmao i even had that video in my recommended section . didnt click cuz wasnt something i was interested in . your insights are crazy . not comparing but u feel like a consistent version of my favourite channel paddy galloway . lovely videos man
Great video. On point. 🎉
yo definately gonna watch this video! I love when you post ma boi!

Saw the vid with kyle beats lol
Same, saw that video too! You're a great producer btw
very good job. this channel right here that im commenting on. gained 100k subs in 2 weeks. from 0 to 150k in 2 weeks. i blew up on the shorts page for me.
You're on a crazy amount now bro congrats I can barely reach a 1000

I was excited when I read the title of the channel. Because I have a UA-cam channel stuck with 318 subs. But I didn’t learn much from your video it tells me the same things the other videos do😢
Thanks for the high value insight Tyler 👍
This Video was one of the best Videos I ever saw on YT for this topic. Thank you ver much and I subscribed to your Chanal ;-) Best Regards from Berlin-Germany
Oooohh I've been posting a new short every day but making long form content is still quite difficult for me, this gives me a lot of food for thought and thank you for sharing your full process!
Not easy my past video almost 3 years and 6 views only 😭
it's funny for me it is the exact opposite
Great video, thanks!!!
You picked a great topic and a great knowledgeable host which is key. At 4.44 I'm already certain this project is a huge success. I'll continue.... :)
I wish someone would do that for our channel. Man, we do so much editing and recording. It's so hard! We grind and just hope our hardwork will pay off.
this video is so great for new content creators
Awesome…Thanks for the useful insights.
Impressive and insightful!! Thank you for sharing this.
Great information! Thank you for sharing it with me. I have started a new channel to showcase my daily routine of taking care of my pregnant wife and twin daughters. Although it's a new channel, I hope to gain a large following within the next few months. Thanks again for your help!
Holy crap Tyler. First time watcher and I have fallen in love already with your content. I'm about to consume everything you guys have made. Thank you so much for this fascinating and informative information.
I took me 4years to hit 1k on my main channel and seeing someone just made that in 4 days is painful
It took me more than 4 years to learn the skills to get to the point where I can start a channel and grow it pretty fast. You got this bro!
Loved this! How did you guys market the first video? Did you share it on your socials, exclusively with friends or just leave it to UA-cams algorithm and not share it with anyone?
We did absolutely nothing. We just posted it and it started getting pushed on the homepage after getting good metrics
@@TylerF really appreciate the response and congratulations on the massive success. It’s always encouraging to see these things grow!

Awesome and Inspiring I appreciate and respect what you guys have done. Great teamwork and friendship were applied in this to make it a success story. Hey man i really appreciate this video,Im finally starting to realize that its not luck what makes u a good content creator,But rather a well tought out idea,I myself need to work on originality instead of making guides wich allready exist,This really was an eyeopener😮

Really quality, inspirational video. Thankyou for taking the time to make this.
This is awesome. On my third youtube channel as we speak. I’ve found the gaming channels to be the hardest to profit from without brand deals and other streams of income; my knowledge based content seem to bring in a lot more but aren’t as fun to create 😅
I don't believe so, I mean you can see how many times a no commentary gameplay have been watched and it's not a little
Great video. Amazing work.
Just started my channel. I love the ideas of making content . Eventually the goal is to get to that monetization but really I feel like I just want to create a community for people to relax and enjoy me and the games I play.
