Not sure why Konami had ruined it but Harmony of dissonance had potential and capabilities of producing great music (Aria of sorrow proves that). GBA itself was a great system in terms of visual and sound as well as gameplay. Harmony of dissonance was a good game with poor music rendition.
Look, I'm not interested in Castlevania AT ALL. But this track? It's a definite banger. I think that's mainly because it gives me major Sonic CD vibes, but still. It's great!
Castlevania was (now killed by Konami (fuckonami)) not just a game. It was beautiful childhood memories and now it became a legend (also one of the most successful Netflix animated series based on any game franchise). Castlevania and Metroid are the only games which gave birth to a term called "Metroidvania" which many of metroidvania games following till date/nowadays. The legend becomes legacy.
@@SolCresta3405 I do have a respect for the series, but it just doesn't really seem like my thing. I apologize if my initial comment came across as me bashing on the series.
This stage is amazing, it's challenging and well designed. This song Opus 13 is a masterpiece. Just because the stage is difficult doesn't make it bad, it's actually one of my favorite stages.
The song reminds me of yu yu hokusho a little, it kinda has the same feel to it.
I know what I know
Yeah kinda
absolutely, the song slaps like yu yu hakusho music
It's always nice to find an Extended video that makes a seamless loop. Bravo.
The best game music Konami has to offer! Thanks for sharing this full-length version.
Unfortunately, this track won’t appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
right? I'd love to beat ass to this song.
Rota Abyssian It’s a shame that this track didn’t appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
@@davidhill8565 yes its a real sahme that this track doesnt appear in super smash bros ultimate

Star to Mario in begin.
YES

@@zero-one2585 Slash. The titles for Opus 13 and Slash are sometimes swapped.
@@themythicalgriffin385 I hate that because Slash is my favorite castlevania song
This is both energetic and melancholic. How do they do it?!
music is as simple as key changes bruh, its literally just notes.
Sonic CD music edits brought me here.
I'd love to here Tee Lopes do a cover/remix of this song. It already sounds like it could be one of his !
Sounds like something straight out of Sonic CD
The minigame in Rondo of Blood (where this also plays) LOOKS straight out of Sonic CD.
THEYRE GROOVIN
This track is bangin' god damn
people have remixed rebecca black's friday, and yet no one though to remix this? shame on all teh interwebz.
...welcome all the “Castlevania Requiem” players who are hearing this song for the first time in 2018 :)

2022 for me lol
I heard this back during the castlevania x days on émulation
THIS SONG NEEDS TO BE IN SMASH BROTHERS ULTIMATE IN IT'S ORIGINAL FORMAT!!!
Anyone else thinking of Mega Man X when they hear this? >>
+SomaSaysMeep The beginning sounds like Armored Armadillo, so..
Ramureeuh XD
Naw I get more of Sonic vibe from it.
It sounds more like the PS1 soundtrack of X3, but it’s a lot more similar to Sonic CD
I heard a very similar soundtrack from megaman in ssbu
Beginning reminds me of Armored Armadillo.
My headcanon is that this is basically Maria's theme song.
sexy music
still awesome
A shame they removed it in the remake, such a cool banger
Who knew Dracula had such groovy taste in music? XD
The better ver of the snes one.
Great track for lifting weights, love it.
BANGERRRRR
Ha good stuff XD
Me and the Boys when Opus 13 starts playing.
Wow, no dislikes. I hope the likes can reach 100 before the troll wanders around here.

Now this is Castlevania music I want. Not that Harmony of dIsSoNaNce static crap.

@@Poyostar It’s okay. I do love the franchise, but I myself have ups and downs with it.
I don't know why but it seems like this song has a bit of the feeling of Michael Jackson's songs. I adore 🧛♂🍷
Begin this song is same that Mario when takes star.
Give it the lo fo treatment and it'd be a pretty good elevator song.
?
OMFG THERE'S ONE DISLIKE
It’s finally October 1st!
Y’all know what that means???
Best song.
Worst stage.
My guess is the composer already had this composed for another project, and they slapped it on to this beta-dump of a level.
I dont think so, the instruments used for this song sound similar to other songs from the game but you're right about the level, it's a dumpster fire

The super nes versions sounds better
Bruh, you're smoking some serious crack of you think that's true. The snes version of this album is laughable
