Your vids are so great not just because of your high knowledge level and nice personality. but because if something is sub-par, you make KIA wince and say it! Kudos.
Hi folks, I own one of the first Kia Soul Sport sold in Denver, I bought it May 01 '09 with 8 miles on it. As an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Air Force, being on disability has been a real challenge. As such, my Soul has never had any of the scheduled maintenance done, as I simply could never afford it. But 11 yrs 7 months later, with only changing the oil every 3000 miles, the ONE thing I can count on in my life, is my Soul. It had yet to have problem 1 mechanically, although the cat.conv. has just quit. With 85000 miles, I have never, in 45 years of driving, owned a better car than this one! I've owned cars I paid almost double what I paidf for this Soul, NONE have been better! And, as a car nut, I've owned many cars over the years, I've never owned anything longer than this one. So, from a previous Chevy owner, I hope Kia keeps up the great work on this model, and know that, when I see something I know is good, I KEEP it...I will never let go of my Soul!
I own a 2020 Kia Soul lx base model with almost 27,000 miles on it! Have had the car since August 2019 with 15 miles on it I absolutely love my little car!
Bought a 2021 Soul EV Limited. Best car I have ever owned. Now I understand what instant torque means. It's very quick. The soul is so easy to drive around the city and great on highways too. I don't care about the wind noise. It's a box on wheels. For that same reason, you get a very roomy space. My next car will definitely another EV. At the time I got mine, there were CAD 16000 Federal, Provincial and Private org. available incentives. It was the best deal. Plus, CAD 500 off towards a purchase of home charger and BCHydro is offering up to CAD 350 incentive for 240V installation. I think it's a good time to get into EV.
We purchased the 2021 Kia soul ex premium thx to your videos, such a great vehicle. Do you know if there is a good deflector option for the 2021 soul? Really looking for this.
Watched 3 Soul reviews, LX, EX+, & EX Premium. I notice that they don't seem to have cargo cover. The walls look flat without any spot to dock an aftermarket cargo cover. That's a bit odd.
Yeah, only the upper level Souls have the cargo cover. It doesn't really bother me in the Soul because it's got the deep tint on the windows, so I feel like my cargo is fairly well hidden, but I know some people really like having it. I often use the under-floor area to keep something out of sight if necessary.
Mr cameron from brookhaven ms. No one can seem to get me a 2020 or a 2021 burnt orange black top ex premium can you help me. It must have led headlights
Great question. The vehicle is capable of turning itself off when at a stoplight (as an example). It does this to save fuel and emissions. The car will INSTANTLY start as soon as you release the brake pedal, but if you don't want this feature to activate, meaning if you just want the vehicle to stay running at all times, you can tap that button to turn the feature off.
I find the Soul is very good in the snow. My EV Soul is best with winter tires, as the Eco-friendly tires are not as good "all-seasons" as the gasoline Soul's tires. Having said that, I usually recommend winter tires to everyone anyway. These cars can do a lot with their safety systems if you give the tires just a little bit of traction.
It's best you buy winter tires ( and possibly wheels too ), especially if your model has low profile tires. I keep up with the AWD all-season tire crowd with aggressive GT Radical Icepro's. Honestly I can't wait to take them off in the Spring, but I just had a safe Winter.
@@SquachoFace Yeah, I recommend winter tires for almost everyone. They're so much better than they used to be, they make a big difference in the winter.
Maybe I prefer the plus, I need your help on this. I want it fully loaded. Uvo,power seats, heated seats, 18 wheels. 10 speaker sterio with stereo mood lighting. Please call me and let me know if this vehicle exsist. In my area only one kia dealership cant not help me. In fact is very unlikely knowledgable of anything I'm requesting.
😂😂i have a 2021 lx model the same color all black with black rim covers im thinking about upgrading to the ex or the x line but i didn't know there were 3 different ex models i only knew about the lx,x-line,ex,gt-line thanks for the information but what does your credit score have to be to get a ex model😂😂😂
@@BrantfordKia i am in Canada and that's what's on my flyer. I'm asking because i'm getting one in a week and i sure hope it has the sunroof as mentioned on the flyer and by the sales rep.
@@Angelitoscreations Oh sorry... I was responding to this comment without looking at which video it was attached to. This car does have a sunroof. Sorry for the confusion.

Not only do the seat bottoms warm up (as the symbol suggests), but so do the lower portion of the seat BACKS! Nice for folks with back issues.

Canada gets the EV and the EX premium. The US gets a base manual and a top line turbo. I wish it were the other way around.
I'm not ready to give up our EV's here, but I'd love to try the Turbo! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Just bought a 2021 Soul EX in the US and was wondering what the EX Premium is. In the US the EX is a step down from the top of the line Turbo.

Question. What is the A with the circle around it? Located on the left of the steering wheel.

@@BrantfordKia I was hesitant at first but this feature works seamlessly.
@@BrantfordKia KIA got that feature, which I loathe,, backwards in my opinion. It should be a feature you can turn ON.

How do you operate the heated seats controls
It's pretty simple. It's just a button that needs to be pressed.

We're based in Canada, so it sounds like you have a U.S. model. Our trims are a little bit different here.
Could it be that this is a EX and not an EX Premium? Looking at the specs online, there should be a sunroof?
This is the EX Premium in Canada, so maybe that's the difference?

I know you wanted 40 likes and you got 44. Happy weekend
Haha! Thanks! I'm still chasing down getting 40 likes WHILE I'm still live. We're getting close, but we haven't done it yet.
Why” premium over plus?
LED headlights! That alone would be enough for me, but there are other options. You can examine them at www.kia.ca
Is there a hybrid?
There is not a hybrid Kia Soul yet. Maybe sometime in the future?
Me too
What is the MPG?
In Canada, we have a different fuel-efficiency test and we measure in litres per hundred kilometres. For MPG data, I would check kia.com
@@BrantfordKia love your videos. What model Kia Soul has the heated steering wheel?
@@charlesthomas6987 Off the top of my head, I believe it's EX and above.
I rented a 2021 Kia Soul S and it returned 35mpg while driving 70mph on the interstate.
