Loving my 2021 Kia Soul EX /ECO Dynamics in Gravity Gray, I also traded in my 2016 in for the one I really wanted the EX, the sweet spot with all the amenities I really wanted and more. Drove it from the Tampa Bay area to Georgia a month ago and was very pleased with its performance considering. It was very comfortable and I was most impressed with fuel economy. I got 38.8 mpg keeping a steady cruising speed no a/c and traveling early morning. It’s rated 29 city/ 35 Hwy and 31 mixed driving. I kept the drive mode on normal also wasn’t in a rush. I packed light for the trip because it was a day trip and turned around and headed back to Florida. It’s safe and has a fantastic warranty you just can’t lose with KIA.
I've noticed that the mileage is not so great in the winter with the ethanol mix but now that spring is here my mileage has improved. I tend to use the Sport Mode quite a bit even when I'm not in a hurry. I didn't want to spend the extra on a turbo and with the Sport Mode the 2.0L is plenty.
Awesome review. I traded in my Mysterious Blue 2016 Soul + for this exact same 2021 Soul EX in Undercover Green. Great improvements with the new design... P.S. I'm loving the heated seats in Wisconsin.
@@ginamarie9781 I was fortunate and mine was the showroom model, didn't have to wait. So far in the Waukesha area, I've only seen one other Undercover Green and it was an X-line. My job takes me all over south east Wisconsin and so far I haven't seen any other Undercover Green EX's. I recently went over 7k miles and it's been flawless.
3:55 "being able to UTILIZE the power of the engine"... pet peeve of mine, but don't use "utilize" when you should just be saying "use". Use is universal in application and never wrong, but to "utilize" something means to use something in a creative way. For example, you can utilize a toothbrush as a shiv in prison by sharpening one end, but you would not utilize a toothbrush for brushing your teeth, you would use a toothbrush for the purpose it was designed for. Other example, you could utilize a shovel as a cooking pan over a fire, but you couldn't utilize a shovel for digging a hole in the ground.
I just got the 2021 turbo kia soul. I love this thing!! Just an amazing vehicle! Couldn't be happier.

My fav in the KIA lineup
Pro trick: you can watch movies on kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Michael Jefferson yea, have been watching on kaldrostream for since november myself =)
One of the best features is a non powered rear hatch. You can open this in half the time it takes for a motorized lift.
