I wish that Honda would bring the Honda ADV350 to America. They have nothing here in that Scooter cc Range to compete against the Yamaha and Suzuki models. It should sell very well.
I have a 150cc TaoTao. Sounds great, rides smooth, have put 1500 miles on it and starts every time, runs like a top. Bought it with 100 miles on it for $500 and it looks like this. Has a USB, 3 places for storage… Put it for sale a year ago. No buyers lol. Just keeps going smoothly and making me smile. Might have to post a video ;)
Any time you are off the asphalt you need the ability to switch off the traction control. One day I was out with some friends on sport bikes. I was on my brand new Triumph Speedmaster. As they pulled off the road and up a little bit of dirt, I was stuck at the bottom. The TC would kill the power whenever the tire spun, which was all the time on dirt. Being on older bikes my friends had no trouble.
Every time i watch a review of this bike i get closer n closer to deciding that i will buy one. Have had big lotre size and a 750 in years gone by but there's something really appealing about the twist n go thing. The sound of a CVT bike reminds me of holidays in hot countries the smells of Mediterranean cooking and exotic palm trees!,
I had one for a year Went all over Could never reach 100mph hardly got to 90 Rode from York to port Patrick in Scotland wind protection wasn't great and like you said suspension super stiff didn't make it great on such a long journey
I’ve done 9000miles, mostly touring. You are correct. The suspension is better when loaded up for touring. I also changed the screen for a larger WRS touring one. Speed is as you mentioned.
The suspension is harsh though the rear shocks can be upgraded, as an owner it’s not just a B road and commuter scoot, it’s excellent on A roads and Motorways too and can also be a tourer, it’s not an off road machine in my opinion.
Have had one for 8 months age and injury forced a rethink. Sad to see 1150 GS go,still miss the thrill factor. But the ADV 350 is pretty good, corners well in the dry, good acceleration, rarely overtaken, national speed limit a doddle with acceleration to spare . Cruise at 70 with more in reserve. Wide high bars neat effective screen. Even looks quite good.
Yamaha Xmax has traction control plus ABS braking and is much of a smoother engine especially at higher RPMs ....built much better ....just look how handle bars are tied into front steering....there's no comparrasin.....Honda has cheap and less welding and contact points ......just look and see ......Yamaha Xmax has four anchor points ....no cheap t tree
I'm undecided which would be the best choice between the Forza 350 and this one. The difference is the look and the suspension, otherwise everything is the same, right? I travel on the highway every day (A5 and CRIL), I have a Forza 125 and I want to exchange it for one of these. I'm not into offroads, but I really like the Adv's look anyway. What I want to know is, in terms of consumption, are the two the same? For trips with and without passengers, which is the most comfortable?
No, the Forza also has the fully auto adjustable bigger windshield - and from the review above, I'm starting to question if the ADV's suspension is any better than the Forza's....
Your review highlights some worries I had with this bike, especially the rock hard suspension. Glad I cancelled my order, as actually getting one from Honda is a case of waiting months. I now have a Yamaha Xmax Tech max on order for delivery next month. In my opinion a far better scooter in every way.
Sounds like you'd have been happier on a forza350. The suspension is softer. The ADV has high performance shocks to stop them bottoming out when riding off road.
Brakes are fine. Its a scooter not a motorcycle. Also if you plan ahead you can slow the scoot down by just rolling off the throttle and then you dont need to work the brakes that hard anyway
I brought the Honda sh 123i, the ride and seat is are hard, I am thinking of going for ADV 350 but it seems to have the same issues as HS 125i rider comfort. Is there a scooter out there that is comfortable, anybody have any ideas.cheers
I exchanged the sh125i for the ADV 350. The ride was hard on the ADV, but with use it has become more acceptable, the storage under the seat Is incredible and a big plus for me. I’m 5ft 7”, the seat height is ok with skills gained in riding this bike. Yep build quality is another big plus, every detail is finished to a high standard. For me this is a brilliant motorbike/scooter, depending on your leanings, to me it’s more motorbike with the wide handle bars and overall feel to it. So no regrets in buying the ADV 350 and big 👍 from me.
When I got the pcx 125 I felt the suspension was very hard. Like a wood board. Eventually it got softer and more manageable. Give it some more miles and if it doesn't improve, change the preload.
Thank you for the review. Good to see some criticism as other reviews are usually just gushing. Lots of positive notes though obviously. I'm torn between this and a BMW C400X which is also a 350cc. Good used ones of those sell for the price of a new ADV, but they seem to have more creature comforts, less luggage space, more room for a tall rider, better brakes.
@michaelbigdongovic3295Designed in Europe, built in China. You could have an opinion about that but it's not like people choose Ericsson mobiles over iPhones because of where they're built.
He doesn't want to because the Xmax is so much more superior in build quality made in Indonesia factory with Japanese design and quality control. The Honda is made cheaper in many components !!!!
We need this in the USA!!!
amen
We do. Everyone calls Americans fat and then they stick us with the 160cc.
I wish that Honda would bring the Honda ADV350 to America. They have nothing here in that Scooter cc Range to compete against the Yamaha and Suzuki models. It should sell very well.
2024 confirmed
You this is coming right ? 2024. The second my dealer tells me I can reserve 2 of them, I’M IN !
They had the forza and silver wing

I weight 104 kilos so I am glad to hear it has some good suspension on the front. I hate it when the front end bottoms out
...which usually most of them do, yes.
hello, Traction control make sense on ADV bikes because when offroad there is a good thing to have traction control
I had one for a year
Went all over
Could never reach 100mph hardly got to 90

@michaelbigdongovic3295now try again with gps speed lol
Horses for courses, buy a real motor cycle.

It’s the ADV look that’s nice, how many BMW GS riders ever go off road.
We not just need, but want this in India.

Oh, to add, and with my very old bones, entirely happy with the suspension.
Great review. Can i ask what makes this suitable for light trail riding? Sorry for the noob question
I believe the T switch you are saying is traction control is actually torque control.
Check out its cornering ability, ADV has better ground clearance, an excellent product for the money.
Good review. I just have one question, how tall are you? I am 190cm so I wonder if I would look like a bear on a bicycle 😂?

Make sure you test ride the ADV .
Motorbike front forks on the ADV.
Can you review the x adv 750 please am tempted to try one of these for a year as seem like good fun. Great review thanks.
I’ve recently bought the X-ADV 750. It’s surprisingly good fun, I’ve not ridden my GS since getting the X-ADV.
wow very nice scooter and what town of UK is this?
Letchworth Garden City 😊
@@BikesofRye thanks.. nice town
Cracking scooter I think when compared to the Forza which has bad suspension.
Need with rear monoshock suspension
Where do you usually ride? I’m located near RAF Mildenhall and am looking for people to ride with! 🤙🏼
Does it have cruise control?
Your review highlights some worries I had with this bike, especially the rock hard suspension.

Watch the X max centre stand on the corners.
ADV is far better than the Xmax.

Wow is nice and is very beautiful 👌 😍
nice scooted would want a few cc off though. going at 60 is same as 125 as is 350

Kawasaki (Kymco)J300, not a bad ride
Try Honda PCX 160

Yep, I rode the yamaha Nmax 155 for two weeks this summer and it is pretty comfotable on paved road. You can stretch out your legs on it.

It's ashamed that Honda doesn't want to sell this scooter in the USA... 😒
Would you need a motorcycle license or is it legally considered a scooter
You need an A2 motorcycle licence to ride this.
You’ve reviewed the forza 350 and adv 350 will you do the Yamaha Xmas 300 as a comparison
He doesn't want to because the Xmax is so much more superior in build quality made in Indonesia factory with Japanese design and quality control. The Honda is made cheaper in many components !!!!
Not just what you're mentioning about it, but what is its actual price? How many miles can you reach per gallon? How much does it weigh?
"Frottle on this free fifty"
🏍👍
Estou tocando pra kuer venha logo pra Brazil kero trocar minha cit com
WOW that’s UGLY!
I clicked off the video as soon as he called the x adv "a motorcycle"
It's better than most motorbikes. ua-cam.com/video/GuaDJhRVfUA/v-deo.html
"Hefty???"
