- Learn how to crochet the smock stitch in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make the crochet smock stitch, which is also known as the honeycomb stitch. This is a lovely textured stitch that works up fast and easy. I like using this stitch pattern for a scarf, blanket, shawl, and more. For my sample, I'm using an L 8mm crochet hook and super bulky weight yarn.

That's a good question! At least with me, I was fortunate to have 2 grandmothers who crocheted. But even today there are some areas where people don't have close relatives or neighbors that crochet, so thankfully UA-cam exists!

I just love your videos... Learning from your channel is so easy... At times I watch some video where I like a particular pattern. But I make sure that I visit your channel to learn it properly. Thank you for lovely tutorials. Just one thing I felt disturbed this video was that it got blurred in between. Else as always it was fab.
