How can you not laugh at Ripe titles, As incredible & pure fiction his stories seems to be for majority of us, the sad reality of entitlements gives us our daily smile. I love it 🤣
I applaud the optimism in humanity that it takes to color these stories as unquestionably fictional. I do not share your optimism in the slightest, but I applaud it.
@@TheAttacker732 Perhaps I didn't phrase well what I want to verbalsm. These stories for the most part, for me are true, but it is so hard to beleive for the ordinary people who haven't experience those EK.
I got a great story from when I was in jail! Granted, it was only 30 days (driving without a license one too many times, but I digress). I heard a story from a fellow inmate who had been in court that day, and there was this one kid from a different pod that got 18 months for whatever. He mouthed off and said 'Bitch please, I can do that taking a shower!' The judge responded "Okay, I'll give you another 18 months to dry off!"
First story -- Karen with a shotgun -- for the past 5+ years (especially since 2020 and covid) , I have noticed more and more people loosing all sense of reality -- becoming self entitled and doing crazy things. My friend recently posted where his neighbor we crazy screaming at his neighbor. Apparently screaming neighbor is mad at him because screaming neigbors cat spends a lot of time at his house and screaming neighbor accuses him of stealing the cat. Jeeze, no wonder the cat wants to stay away from screaming neighbor .. I am not surprised here.
Story One: Even if he had signed something saying that everything was left to her, it wouldn't have meant squat since contracts made under duress are not legally binding. Of course, he would have to prove it was under duress, but it sounds like that wouldn't be hard in this case.
Things are not getting worse, just reported more. Things are not getting worse, just reported more. Things are not getting worse, just reported more. I just need to keep reminding myself this. This is the first time in human history where we get news in near real-time. This type of thing has always happened, we just know about it............................ Yes, that must be it..........
On the off chance that someone actually manages to, somehow, start one here, I already have a game plan in mind to be a massive thorn in their side. Paint the house purple and blue, change the mailbox, nice dragon in the garden, wire trellis with a passion vine by the porch, bird bath/feeder... All stuff I pretty much want to do anyway😁
Story 3: NTA. If you start following any of their rules you're telling them they have a free pass to start pushing more and more of their rules on you because they know you'll fold to their pressure. Treat them like bullies and don't give them an inch and they'll eventually back down to bully people who are less work and don't fight back.
Last Story. 22:05 Does not matter which state you live in. You can Quit when ever You want to. There is NO Federal Law stating you have to give any Notice at all to quit. Basically giving notice just benefits you abit in the long rung when searching for new Job. if new job happens to call old job about references is all. see if were decent worker and all.
I don't think you know about contract work. Some people do not have at will jobs, they have contracted jobs. Part of the contract may have an NDA, and it may require that you give a certain amount of notice and/or train your replacement.
@@thalinororcbreaker2840 While that may be so, Unless there is actual Law stating you are required to give such amount of notice before quitting. That Contract can be considered invalid in court if it says you have to give certain amount of days of notice.
Story #1: if I was dying and had everything in order and my crazy neighbor shoved a shotgun in my face demanding I change my will to include her, I'd look her in the eye and say "do it. My affairs are in order, I'm not changing my will, and if you spend the rest of your life in prison for murder, then my family will be safe from you."
The first story was great and in the second story I wouldn't have thrown the phone out I would have tossed Karen out!! The third story was really great and the OP is not an a hole he can't be held accountable to an HOA that he's not a member of.
I really dislike hospitals too. Dad died there in 2013, Mom in 2016, and my Sis in 2021. I've been in hospital twice (2012 for a week, 2019 for five weeks). I have dealt since 2012 with the same problem that killed my sister, though a different cause. I really hope to not go there again.
@@thomas.parnell7365 Honestly I've never liked them myself. To many members of my family spent a fair amount of time in them for one reason or another. However my late girlfriend spent the most time in one, which was about six months, due to needing a resectioning of the large intestine. Which a part of it had died. But I dislike nursing homes even more.
It happens often though. When my mom died, all her "friends" and her church showed up demanding things...her body was still in her room. It was beyond insane
Yes the insane part was that Betsy threatened OP who was dying with a gun. If that happened to me I would have laughed at that crazy woman telling her "I'm already dying so that gun doesn't scare me."
@@SMDoktorPepperhat's disgusting. I'd have lost my mind and cussed them out so badly they'd never forget it. I hope they get the karma they deserve. Vultures. I hope you got through that alright and had people who had your back.❤ No one should go through that.
There's a malicious compliance that could have been done to Karen. Just add the line "Due to Karen's insistence this is the mention she gets in this will. Karen gets nothing but this mention."
Karen: YOU MUST INCLUDE ME IN YOUR WILL!!! Me: OK, I will...[adds the following to Will: And to my Neighbour Karen, she is to be given a Loud & Hearty "FUCK YOU KAREN!" and then she is to be promptly kicked out of the Reading of the Will Meeting!]... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Lost Phone: If possible, I would have tried to find out a way to get it down to No Charge, so she would have had to wait longer until her phone was usable....
First Story- "Give me everything in your will, now!" *Points shotgun to your face* "Listen, lady, you already know that I have a tumor in my brain; I'm not much longer for this world. I already finalized the processing for my will, so you're too late." "I'll shoot you; I swear I will." "Go ahead, shoot me; I've got nothing left to lose at this point. I agree on that part, but I also understand the man not wanting to cut his time with his family short because of some crazed person. From the story the man was really weak at that point and I would like to imagine that had he had more strength he would've fought the crazed woman back.
@@Watgit, sometimes a dying person will want to go out on their terms if it means confronting a crazy lady trying to steal from you and getting blasted I wouldn't blame them

Absolutely NTA. If someone claimed to have authority to determine the actual number of lights I could put on my property during the Christmas Holidays, I think I would tell them to kiss my foot! This is absolutely a most ridiculous "rule" for someone who IS NOT AN HOA MEMBER! it's no one's business how many Christmas lights I put up or if I don't put up any Christmas lights!
Ripe, I give it to you, I got upgraded from "wall, fence, gate and security-cam your property" to "shotgun karens on sight once the set foot on your property"
Not completely because if she wasn't too cheap to pay the $10 Insurance on her phone every month then all she would have had to do was report her phone lost or stolen and her insurance bill was paid up she would have just gotten a new phone from her company.
I was accosted by three drunken passengers, who, just as they catch up with me on the platform of my train, they shouted, " Your company is ******* crap, so are your trains. We are going to wreck this train before we get off, mug that bloke over there and punch you before we get off. What are you going to do about it?" I went to the cab, set up the train, (last passenger service, 00:59) called the signalman, asking him to contact the rest room i had just left and could he ask the three BTP (British Transport Police) to join me as i had been threatened. They were pretty quick joining me, i entered the coach where they were, pointed them out, stating they had threatened me, therefore, either they get off my train, or i will cancel the service and everybody else on the train will have to find their own way home and i go empty to depot. They were removed, one took a swing at one of the coppers, instantly arrested. I said they could get the next service to their second to last destination on that route. They said, "When will that be?" I merely replied at 07:15 the next morning, as they were led away, i said loud enough for them to hear, "Thats what i am doing about it!" I left about five minutes late, but after my apology for delay to service, i got a round of applause. Made final stop having made up lost time. This happened in UK in 1995. BR no longer exists and i am retired five years now. Safe to use if you wish.
I don't know about every state but Washington state doesn't require any explanation to fire an employee. The only time explanation is offered is when it comes to unemployment payment.
Story 2 if i was in that position i would have done what op did but if it was over a $100+ tab then i might do a factory reset on the phone for the inconvenience of having to reinstall from the cloud but that might lead to a misdemeanor charge for erasing personal data Edit might cloud drop random photos for the lols that way there is no harm done
Would not have thrown the phone away - would have called the police and given them the phone along with a copy of the unpaid food bill. Let justice descend from on high!
When someone demands that an HOA exempt home owner comply with HOA rules, tell them that HOAs are illegal in Uganda. They'll tell you that we are not in Uganda. Tell them that you're not in the HOA either, so buzz off.
7;58, Fun Fact, any Contract made Under Duress (Like because the person Demanding has a GUN pointed at your head) is not enforcable in court seeing as you were not in your right mind at the time.
Story 2: would have asked police if the phone could be sold and the surplus money after covering the bill be returned to the customer (it would be fun if that's a thing)
Story 3: get a lawyer to send the HOA a C&D so its on record for whatever happens next. Yes, it blows that in the US you have to pay a lawyer every time you turn around, but thats what happens when you make it so all legislators are lawyers - rules that enrich lawyers.
Karen's phone, delete everything, photos, contacts, email and any games downloaded, I mean everything. Cancel all social media accounts etc. Return it completely empty.
Someone has to be a real nutcase to think that because they are long time neighbors, they are more deserving of inheriting someone's property than the family of the person it belongs too! I hope his wife gets a restraining order for batty neighbor when she gets out!!
Even though the lady that dined and dashed got "punishment enough" no i would not break orcthrow the phone away. Thats willful destruction of property here which msy or msy not be considered theft too and since iphones are expensive might be a felony
The lady who skipped out on her tab and forgot her phone. You should have set up a time and had the cops waiting for her when she came for it. I am sure it's not the first time she has done this and not the last.
I'm petty so I would have given Karen's phone to the police and informed them of them running out without paying their bill. Just so the Karen would have to go to the police station to retrieve it and have the embarrassment of explaining to them why she never paid for her food. 🤣😈⭐⭐🌟🌟✨✨

You don't need to be so petty as to throw away the phone. Be petty enough to remove the SIM card and reset the phone to factory settings.
I don't know about every state but Washington state doesn't require any explanation to fire an employee. The only time explanation is offered is when it comes to unemployment payment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As for story 3, you're never the asshole when dealing with hoas
NOT the AH over Christmas lights for non-HOA houses. let them go pound ice chips!
Story 2 if i was in that position i would have done what op did but if it was over a $100+ tab then i might do a factory reset on the phone for the inconvenience of having to reinstall from the cloud but that might lead to a misdemeanor charge for erasing personal data
Edit might cloud drop random photos for the lols that way there is no harm done

Story 2: You should have made sure the phone was nice and sanitary by putting it in the microwave on high for 60 seconds...
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Would not have thrown the phone away - would have called the police and given them the phone along with a copy of the unpaid food bill. Let justice descend from on high!
When someone demands that an HOA exempt home owner comply with HOA rules, tell them that HOAs are illegal in Uganda.
They'll tell you that we are not in Uganda.
Tell them that you're not in the HOA either, so buzz off.
7;58, Fun Fact, any Contract made Under Duress (Like because the person Demanding has a GUN pointed at your head) is not enforcable in court seeing as you were not in your right mind at the time.
story four i would have lit it up where you could see it from space. are there any good hoa stories
Now that's the right way to do it.
Last story - if immorality is a fireable offence in any job, we would have 100% unemployed - all workplaces would close down!
😊
Damnit.
@@Wolfie713Atleast it's you and not that "agamer" dude that refuses to acknowledge he was second lol. Man, what a shit show!
id have turned the phone in to the boss, 2 wrongs dont make a right
Story 2: would have asked police if the phone could be sold and the surplus money after covering the bill be returned to the customer (it would be fun if that's a thing)
Story 3: get a lawyer to send the HOA a C&D so its on record for whatever happens next. Yes, it blows that in the US you have to pay a lawyer every time you turn around, but thats what happens when you make it so all legislators are lawyers - rules that enrich lawyers.
On the story of the Karen in the restaurant that skip dinner bill and left her phone I would have deep-fried the phone
Karen's phone, delete everything, photos, contacts, email and any games downloaded, I mean everything. Cancel all social media accounts etc. Return it completely empty.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I look up the word Karen in the dictionary and it said evil women also crazy in tidal ment know it all can be known as a giant pain the but
Someone has to be a real nutcase to think that because they are long time neighbors, they are more deserving of inheriting someone's property than the family of the person it belongs too! I hope his wife gets a restraining order for batty neighbor when she gets out!!
9:02 Can they even spell shame?

Im sorry karen but - snaps my finger as a army pops out pointing their guns at her - you done F'ed up ... and now you lose
Pointing a gun at people for sure means you in this case dont get one lousy penny...
How was 52 year old woman approaching her late 60’s?

Story 1: you shoot me and you get nothing but the rest of your life in prison.
Never negotiate with a terrorist.
