    2. Those neighbors are being ridiculous asking OP to stay away from his pond when they are outside. If they are so concerned they need to move somewhere that they don't have any neighbors.

I've got this thing, if you shoot at me, I'll return the favor. Then, the shooter will learn that mine is bigger and that, courtesy of the US taxpayer, I don't know how to miss.
The shooter would then learn in a very final manner precisely which religion is right.

I would agree, but usually in sketchy neighborhoods, cops aren’t likely to go there, and the other neighbors could be doing something else and make things up in their minds about OP and her husband.

    • @davidwaxter66
      @davidwaxter66 Рік тому +4

In sketchy neighborhoods cops are more likely to show up cause there are more crimes there. You call they have to respond. You file a report for harassment every time to get it on record and eventually file for a restraining order and force the neighbor to move out not yourself. Get cameras for video proof as well. Statements from the neighbors too. Anything and everything to prove that the neighbor is crazy and harassing you will help your case

    • @TheAttacker732
      @TheAttacker732 Рік тому +7

@@davidwaxter66 That's not really true. The police don't have a legal obligation to respond to any given call.
The Supreme Court has asserted that, after a woman called police to report her violent ex was violating the restraining order against she had against him. The police did not respond, and the ex killed her. SCOTUS found no legal issue with the police inaction, citing that there is no legal duty for the police to protect you as an individual, only to protect the public as a whole.
The only response you can count on against someone who means you harm is your own. Your safety is in your hands, nobody else's.

Story 2, if the neighbors are concerned about their children being outside when the op is one his own property, on his own dock, the neighbors have a few choices:
-Build a fence to keep the properties separate.
-Plant bushes and trees to create a visual break, and give the yard privacy
    or
    -MOVE.
What they can NOT do is to insist OP refrain from enjoying his own property. Nothing OP is doing intrudes on the neighbors. It is up to the neighbors to take action to ease their fears, and not insist another property owner go inside.

If Karen doesn't want to live somewhere that she doesn't like what she sees, SHE can move somewhere else, like to prison. Like my old neighborhood, I wouldn't miss that place and all the trouble there even a little bit. Great stories, Ripe.

Honestly, Op and his husband could 100% sue karen there for how scared they was etc afther the insident. but they should have tryed to document it etc to. the police might have taken action before it went that far if they did because of the stalking and harasment. if documented they would have been able to file for a restraining order aigenst karen and it would most likely have been granted to. specialy when the stalking started.

Last story, OP is TA for not telling the couple that they should keep their kids inside when he is outside if they don't want their kids anywhere near him. When they point out that they shouldn't be required to change their way of doing things for him, he could just say, "Ditto." Why should he be required to go inside when they let their kids out? They just want to try to be in control of what he does and they are pissed that he's not bending to their will.

First story. If they were in as sketchy a neighborhood as it sounds, then it was probably worse to call the police then to try and handle it themselves. Story 1: Long before it got to the point of a gun being used, I would have probably tried to get a cease-and-desist order or a restraining order of some sort to keep her away. Not to mention that when she was screaming about non-existent in the Fidelity's and trying to paint Op out to be some sort of philanderer, she could have been taken to court for defamation of character or assassination of character as a matter of fact. 👀
A call to the police to do a wellness check on her mental state probably could have helped the situation at some point too. Clearly she had a screw loose and could have done with some TLC in a place that could help her, which clearly was not at her home. At the point that she was stalking the husband, she could have been taken to jail for doing that. During the Valentine's Day dinner, I would have immediately called the police once she started banging on the door because it is more than a little inappropriate to be doing that for weeks, if not probably months at that point.
Story 2: NTA, Op is on their own property, minding their own business and not interacting with the neighbours kids at all. If the neighbours are so concerned, they can keep their kids inside or actually be outside and watch them carefully like parents should be doing. 🤷

Last story: what's wrong with those neighbors? They leave two small children unattended next to a pond in an unfenced yard. They can either put up a fence or supervise their children when they are outside.
If I were OP I would suggest to them that the children just leave the yard as soon as OP comes outside. Same results but now the inconvenience is on them.

If the couple in the first story moved before Karen was arrested would she have followed them?

Why do these idiots (OP& husband) listen to that see ya next Tuesday?!?
What losers. Stand. Up. For. Yourself!!!!
Only respond when you can pay them back 1000 fold without risking police intervention against you .
Why haven’t they done anything to make this monster fear them?
Make Karen’s and nosy neighbors fear your wrath don’t take their BS.
Be nice and generous but if someone screws with you out the blue, you’re innocent, pay em back with 1000x the offense and they won’t mess with you again.
In this case you promise neighbor that someone has been hired to end her and get willing people to act the part.
    Whatever it takes.
After reporting her to the police of course so she comes off as insane when she inevitably goes to them herself.
There are probably lots of better ideas to put that thing in her place like by recording it and showing it to her family. Show it to her doctors to try and get her committed. PI’s can get all that info.
OP and husband don’t seem to care about themselves why should I?

If I heard it right, in story 1, the druggy (I do like using the name Karen), she was on their property which means that they can have her trespassed. She grabbed the husband, that is assault. Why was the officer being stupid. It comes down to trying to get recording of druggy's action so that a restraining order can be filed. Adding trespassing and assault would help increase the chances of getting that restraining order.

Attempted Seduction Story: OP and her Husband should have nipped Karen's Harassment early be telling her to stop or she WILL be Charged with Trespassing and Sexual Harassment...
The moment Karen tried to Seduce me, I would have told Karen "Sorry, I NEVER Fornicate outside my Species", then I'd tell her to stop or I call the Police and have you Charged with Assault, harassment, Stalking and Sexual Harassment/Sexual Assault, then I'd call a Lawyer to get a Restraining Order (No Contact, Stay Off My Property & Stay A Minimum Of 100 Yards Away From Me At All Times)...that last would force her to move since her home is a LOT less than 100 Yards away from mine so when I'm home, she can't be in her home without Violating the RO and getting Arrested...
    😄😁😆😅😂🤣

At this point, these are either all made up, or people are just that stupid that they allow this stuff to go on like they do. Call the cops, file reports, etc. There's hundreds of steps to take and yet somehow no one seems to think "maybe I should call the cops".

if op was sunbathing naked then i could understand the neighbor a little with how close it is. but he is doing nothing wrong in regard to the question he had not even close to beeing an a hole. its ops property etc. if watching adult videos on full blast there op would have been an a hole but just sitting there working etc?

  • @jeanannd

Yes, what the Karen did to OP's husband was assault and they should have called the Police on her then and there. Not to mention her disturbing the peace, yelling and indecent exposure. Buying a stun gun and stunning the Karen then calling the Police to report it as self defense would also be good. As to when the Karen called the Police, that would have been a good time to have her charged with trespassing, harassment, and more. That it took that long before the Police after arrested her was a show of how much the Police really didn't care about the area. ⭐⭐⭐
