- Besides of an interesting structure, the project 0115 reminds us our childhood dreams that we did not manage to fulfil. The making of a gear selector system by pressing buttons from a motorcycle steering wheel is an exciting and interesting procedure.

I have been watching your channel for 5 years and I can say with confidence that you have taken the construction of homemade products to a new level. Great job guys.
This build were not homemade anymore, it's better called "workshop made". Simply because people not always keep their big lathe in their garage, except for those who literally lived in their workshop.
I agree that "homemade" might be a stretch. They literally built themselves out of that space over the course of their channel. It's inspiring to see where you might end up if you focus.
This would be excellent for someone who has lost his/her left foot.
Yeah that would work the only problem I foresee is how to put the bike in neutral. As usually you need a half of a click up to put it into neutral
@@gothmansams maybe a centrifugal clutch between the output shaft and the sprocket which engages above the engines idle speed. But maybe im also overthinking it and there is a better option
Christy Brown for example
@@gothmansams Some motorcycle gearboxes are N-1-2-3-4-5 as opposed to 1-N-2-3-4-5 :) I am not sure, but the Yamaha engine they use might have Neutral at the first spot and everything is up. I know all Honda engines have 1-N-2-3-etc. Of course some engines have only 4 speeds, and some semi-automatics have only 3. But I'm just saying, there might be a solution in choosing for a gearbox that starts with Neutral :)
It’s called a Kliktronic made for disabled riders. Had a friend that lost from the knee down and could ride my cruiser ok but had one fitted to his Hayabusa
I remember this channel not having any commentary. Was much more pleasing to watch
very good initiative, this invention can favor people with physical limitations!
congratulations
Voice and music volume is perfect now, thanks for taking feedback into a count !
Stay awesome and keep making great videos!

That's what I thought immediately.
Ah! our man speaks, and with a lovely accent, Thanks to you for all your videos past and future.
In my opinion, the earlier versions where better...without voice and explanations...
But if the most of your followers wants it...i can live with it...
Yes I am of the same opinions. Let the action narrates the video.
Imagine if youtube allowed multiple audio-tracks on a video, then again, when you are the leading platform with no competitor in sight, why innovate?
@@meistro32 i am okay with it...its just my personal oppinion...
I can understand that people wanting an explanation...i enjoy it like it comes...but i think it makes more fun to guess what he will do...but not everyone has the technical knowledge to see it on the first spot... Sorry guys...i dont wanna criticism you...
But this channel here is on an da... Very high level of engineering...
My highest respect...
May be some people want to recreate this and the explication it's very useful.

Pretty hands. Would be a great hand model for homemade pie companies advertising.
Jokes aside, you are many levels above any other youtube channel for "diy", makers, garage workshop, et cetara
just the best creator channel, second to none
Very cool! Just needs some sort of a limiting switch that will stop the armature halfway so you can still shift into neutral.
This channel is amazing :)
Sometmes it's the little things that count.
The integrated clip on the pin which holds the solenoid to the gear change mechanism is pure genius!
I thought the same thing. It's those little touches that he puts the extra effort into that makes him a master engineer as opposed to a very good engineer!
عمل رئع كنت متشوق لتنزيل عمل جديد اناء من العراق معجب بمحتواك ❤️
Nice work brothers
Thank you!

The potential for this is limitless.
As always, great engineering and great workmanship. Y'all are one of my favorite UA-cam channels out there. I haven't seen anyone else that does a better job of taking everyday items and adapting them to fit your needs. Great job.
This guy owns or makes every tool you can think of but still heats shrink tubing with a regular old lighter. My role model.
You should TOTALLY start selling some of the projects your made 👍🏽🙏🏽
I would love to see this being used on a complete motorcycle. Awesome idea!
You probably will eventually.
OMG..
Very unique and beautiful .
Well-done mate👍
Very innovative application of - using what is available, but the technical difficulty faithfully adheres to your theme on this channel, EXTREME 😁
This is the first narrated video I've seen and it caught me off guard but I'm not sad about it. Always A+ content.
When I had plans for a racing moped I had the idea to use a co2 or compressed air system connected directly to the internal gear selector and have it be activated automatically when you pressed the clutch together with a spark cut. With adjustable time delay so I wouldn't blow up the gearbox ofc. It would only shift one way because that all that is needed from dragracing purposes but it could be adapted to shift up or down with the use of a RPM signal.
The truth is, you invent beautiful and weird things, and you are so cool 😎🤩🤩🥰😍
Awesome as always, I am most intrigued as to what this is going to become. Thank you for sharing your work.
This is pretty cool, and I agree this should be used on a motorcycle type project. The one thing I would offer some advice on is your soldering. Heat the wire up from underneath and let the solder flow into the wire. You will get a much better connection this way.
Great work, as always! I look forward to seeing what it is eventually used on.
Hello mister very good job you are a genius
The way you made the spring was brilliant!
I've been searching for this diy almost everywhere and mostly it's just show me pingel or klicktronic or just an already finished project. this step_by_step diy is really really helpful for me, thank you very much 😁👍 great works man.
Nice project very elegant design, I would love to see this in action. Keep up the amazing work I've been following ya'll for along time and love your projects.
Awesome as always. Just plain awesome
High quality all around!
Excelente proyecto e impecablemente ejecutado , muchas gracias por compartir sus conocimientos y experiencias , un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón , Galicia ( España)
Very clever construction!!
Always so surprising and brilliant !
Really nice design and machining efforts. Thumbs Up!
another excelent project. Congrats
Patreon here....Love the new spoken introductions! Great work, this is going on a cross cart project!
Thank you!
I would love to have something like this to shift my atv !
Great video thanks for sharing
идея хорошая. исполнение как всегда супер...
О, наконец-то нормальный язык
я тут постоянно . Ништяк канал только редко выходят видео ...
Nice work and grade idea 💡👏👌
Awesome as always!!
Great job, and the video is very cool! 👍👍👍
Maaaaaaaaan, I haven't checked your videos out in a while, and all of a sudden you got voiceovers? I support your decision a 100%! Great work!
μπραβο παιδια, εισται μαστορες. καμνετε πραξη και την πιο τρελλη ιδεα. keep up the good work!
you are very creative. Thank for sharing
Pretty impressive work, dude!!! 😃
Looking forward to the project!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Wow i have no words to explain about this gadjet that is awsome ❤
Mesmerising content as usual and your sound editing is spot on ... toes and thumbs up.
That’s very good, great idea.
i really like the new presentation format !
Love the things you make
Its really awesome project. Interested to see what you will make using this.
Amazing project 🤙
Solid. Just solid. 👍🏼
I never seen something like that, great idea 💡
Wow. Nice job brother.
Not quite what I was expecting, but none the less it was a brilliant little build for which, I'm sure, you already have an idea of a plan...
awesome project 🤘🤘
love you guys awesome work!
Like always I click like before I even start watching the video.
One idea: for switch it wouldn't be better to use switch from power window with arrows up and down?
Always amazing job!
Next Level fabrication skills good job bros!!!
Excellent step...... Super invention
This is what I'm waiting for. thanks for the solution.
Very cool idea!!! And expertly executed as well lol
nice work
Thanks 👍👍👍
عمل رائع شكرا لك اخي
Sooo, you made a virtual automatic gear clutch? Awesome channel, great content and I like the new format of you narrating. All you need now is to make a heat gun for shrink tubing ;-)
using the soldering iron under the cable and the solder on top of the cable will give better solder. great content.
Muy bueno!!!
Nice job . although a 2way pnumatic cylinder about 25mm piston and with 50mm -100mm travel is typically used along with C02 or onboard air. You eliminate the need for the air system . ( it could come in handy to reinflate a tire. ) a more extreme version would be to use a stepper motor connected directly to the shift drum. In the transmission.
This product will work nicely for a solenoid shifterfor a planetary type overdrive unit that I am developing. Thanks for the great idea.
Awesome Dude on all u make!
Thanks for adjusting the music volume, and style. Now I don't have to watch while using the mute option.
*Great content; great idea as always. God bless.*
Moto GP approved ! Nice job.
this is the first video i've watched from you guys with an intro - i like it. i also like what you're building, and would love to see it in a build. i'm also interested in how you're going to get the bike into neutral
pretty sure this is very simple 'box with no neutral & a centrifugal clutch or a N-1-2-3 type
Since the Coils are inductive loads you should use a flyback diode to protect the switches
You should do that, and upload a video for us all to see.
Make a very low profile driver lying on his back motorcycle. This would be perfect for that.
I felt like I could hear the voiceover much better as it didn't seem to be competing with the volume of the music this time. Great job. Idea for your next project? Build a heat gun so you don't have to use a lighter to shrink your shrink tube.
Very Interesting
Electric over Air is interesting also
Brilliant thanks guys
Brilliant idea.
Perfect for all those kart builds with motorcycle engines.
Love your vids. How about some details of your talent stack. It would be fascinating to see how you design, and what skills you had to master to get this succesful :)
I loved the old format, no speaking or description what you were doing and then heavy metal all the way!
brilliant ideas
Ficou muito interessante 👏😃👏😃👏👏
This is a great video and I liked the little bit of voice, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Красавчик 💪
Nice Idea 👍🏻
Nice job
Good job Buddy
Great idea
This looks like a good idea! The only thing that worries me if the sparks on the contacts. Starter solenoids are known to be a high current load, aren't you worried about contact erosion in the switches (or relais)?
Awesome Idea.
well done💪😎😎
Nice video!
I appreciate the info intro 👍
Hello from Turkey! I have a question about coils? Why you didn't use a single coil instead of two coils? If you have the chance to reconnect the cables remove one of the coils and supply the single one with reverse voltage. Pushing or pulling action is depends on the applied current direction. If you couldn't get enough power from one of them, you can connect the two in series and able to get more push or pull power.
Good work bro..
Amazing ideas bro 👌👌👌👌
