Some time ago I saw some of your work by chance and it inspired me to create my own tools, but in a country where everything is more expensive and complicated to obtain like Argentina. You have also given me an economic solution to the vertical movement of a device, which in the market means a lot of money. I have great admiration for you, because you also notice a simple person, with humility, heart and good people. Are you a military engineer or just a genius? anyway, very grateful for your shared capacity

Yeah, but using a milling machine as a press isn't a mistake, when considering it's function. It's more like using a crescent wrench to hammer in a philips head bolt into cast iron.

And a bandsaw. I mearly lost 2 fingers cutting off metal with a grinder years ago. I have since furninshed my shop with 2 bandsaws. One vertical and one horizontal drop down. Not to mention the metal chop saw in the corner.
Gonna have to start scrounging parts for that metal shear. That is slick. Looks like a beefed up bead roller.

Cover your lathe ways when you use abrasives or grinding- if you don't the grit getting forced between the saddle and the bed will wear the ways down, and your lathe will begin to turn a taper.

4:00 There a much easier way to find the center of a part with a DRO, that doesn't involve calculating radii at all: touch off the edge finder on one side of the part, zero that axis, then move over and touch off on the opposite side. Once you've touched off, use the 1/2 function (press the axis button, then the 1/2 button) to halve the current value, moving the zero point to the center of the part. Note that this works regardless of the size of the part or the size of the edge finder, so you can use this even if you don't know the exact diameter of the part at the point you're touching off.
