When i watched your video yesterday "Making of futuristic motorcycle" i sow this Electric Metal Shear. This is amazing. You can make special machine what you need. You are an inventor friend.
Fabrication has been a large part of my job since the mid 90’s and I can say you and I work and think very differently from each other. I really enjoy watching your channel for this reason. You’ve added a “tool” to my toolbox by helping me visualize solutions to problems different from the way I’d normally solve them. Keep up the awesome content. Big fan
ARE THEY ANYTHING YOU CANNOT BUILD. YOU ARE IN A LEAGUE WITH ONE MORE ON UA-cam. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WATCHING YOU WORK. YES SOMETIMES S@*T HAPPENS LIKE YOUR MILL BREAKING. KEEP THEM COMING AND I’LL KEEP WATCHING. TY
Some time ago I saw some of your work by chance and it inspired me to create my own tools, but in a country where everything is more expensive and complicated to obtain like Argentina. You have also given me an economic solution to the vertical movement of a device, which in the market means a lot of money. I have great admiration for you, because you also notice a simple person, with humility, heart and good people. Are you a military engineer or just a genius? anyway, very grateful for your shared capacity
Wow, You have earned yourself another subscriber. Your workmanship is excellent, really top quality. The videos are in depth enough, without being too drawn out. Also with a touch of comedy, and not all errors removed, ie. when you broke your mill, the look on your face was priceless. Keep up the good work, and you'll soon be to a million subs.
Only those of us who have lived of design and fabrication can fully appreciate this young man's skill and talent because we know what we're viewing. Our compliments aren't just explanations of amusement but actually validation well deserved. I would have hired this man instantly at any of my fab shops. Agree??
Nothing quite says "I'm not making another one of these" like 3\4" steel plate. Making tools for the great grandchildren. Thanks for the great video, keep up the good work!
Yeah, but using a milling machine as a press isn't a mistake, when considering it's function. It's more like using a crescent wrench to hammer in a philips head bolt into cast iron.
From the first day I found your channel, I knew 100,000 would come hear. 1 million will take no time at all. Best wishes to you. The mill breaking, my heart dropped. Been there, done that. Payed for the shirt.
And a bandsaw. I mearly lost 2 fingers cutting off metal with a grinder years ago. I have since furninshed my shop with 2 bandsaws. One vertical and one horizontal drop down. Not to mention the metal chop saw in the corner. Gonna have to start scrounging parts for that metal shear. That is slick. Looks like a beefed up bead roller.
This reminds me of a sign, that someone put up on a wall at a shop I used to work at, "We've done so much with so little, for so long...they think we can do everything with nothing!"
Cover your lathe ways when you use abrasives or grinding- if you don't the grit getting forced between the saddle and the bed will wear the ways down, and your lathe will begin to turn a taper.
Хьяжнаъ йоцуш лайк д1а йаийти! Меллаъ кест-кест гуч волуш хил,братан! Bombov idea - powerful work! Looking forward to new species! Congratulations on the silver!!!
Another really nice build! I was going to say my workshop is just like yours, mine floods too. But then you opened that new decoration from UA-cam. Congratulations mate. Well deserved.
I love your channel and the way you think, I wish you were closer ( I am in GA USA), I have a bunch of those Bonfiglioli gear reductions from our German made machines that are left over from motor swaps on our tools that I would give you for your creations, Great content and a big congrats for the 100K, Nice.
You are a very clever man - well done! This concept would also be great for a bead roller and edge former using differently shaped roller dies. And Congratulations for 100,000 subs, you deserve a rockstar status. Stay safe and well :)
4:00 There a much easier way to find the center of a part with a DRO, that doesn't involve calculating radii at all: touch off the edge finder on one side of the part, zero that axis, then move over and touch off on the opposite side. Once you've touched off, use the 1/2 function (press the axis button, then the 1/2 button) to halve the current value, moving the zero point to the center of the part. Note that this works regardless of the size of the part or the size of the edge finder, so you can use this even if you don't know the exact diameter of the part at the point you're touching off.
