      Well the OG had a lot of facts
      the Definitive edition made by GSG which has some GBTQ people included
      they made the world map goofy as hell with no improvemnt rather than broken graphics that dosnt fit the atmosphere and they introduced the whole new bugs ranging 5000-15000 small and major bugs combining both three games together
      wish rockstar hired modders

      And plz try The VHUD Mod by _AG for GTA SA
      if you are using Essentials pack
      import all the essential files like framrate vigilate, silent patch to game directory location
      and you need to install drivers and install MSI Afterburner

    We were genuinely so blessed in the 2000’s. Imagine going from gta 3, which was revolutionary in its own way, to San Andreas in just three years? Same, I was 5 when the game released and since I grabbed it at the age of 8/9 years old, I thought it had come out then, back when even a few years difference would be felt. When I found out it came out in 2004 I was shocked, it's crazy how well rockstar utilized the ps2 hardware and who knows what else they could've squeezed in there with even slightly better specs.

      If we are actually serious, then RDR2 is the best game ever made. It's story and setting is unrivaled. 2018, and still only a handful of games have come a little bit close. I love San Andreas and I still play it from time to time on my PS2, but actually calling it the best game ever, is like saying Skype is the best communication service ever. Like it's good and has uhh... unique personality? but the best? No.

      Which is why I was deeply disappointed when Rockstar dropped the ball on the remaster. It had the potential to be something absolutely amazing, but instead we just got what felt like a "community made high res texture pack" over the top

      @santiagomoralesgarcia1802 3 місяці тому +3

      Yeah, Games like cyberpunk has only reached GTA san Andreas world interaction, this is why Rockstar is not hurry with GTA 6 because they don't have competition in making modern setting (and wild west setting) games

    • @Z38_US
      @Z38_US 3 місяці тому +8

      @@santiagomoralesgarcia1802 Not really about the setting more about how Rockstar handles it's worlds and displays them to the player.
      Go through the entire map of GTA 5, you won't find a single copy and pasted house, literally not one. Some houses look very similiar (same build style for certain blocks happens irl too) but they are still different in their details.
      Comparing that to any other open world game similiar to GTA it becomes quickly noticeable that a lot of games copy and paste certain buildings.
      The attention to detail Rockstar puts in it's worlds is what makes them so great and they have done that for a while now which is exactly why they feel so unique, no two buildings or alleys are the same.

    • @antipsychotic451

    The amount of effort they put into ambience and environment through different weather system and lighting is simply amazing and even beats some modern day games
    Most devs would just copy paste the same thing all over the map (cough Ubisoft cough ) but only Rockstar took an extra effort to make each area feel special and unique.

    Man I remember ripping V-Rock off the PS2 disc and keeping that on my mp3 *exclusively*. One of my "one day..." projects is an app that accurately simulates SA radio, shit would be so cash

    The sixth generation of consoles was made back when developers still had to be creative about using software limitations. Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind Bethesda learned how to use the original Xbox rebooting to overcome memory limitations. Silent hill 2 was already pushing PS2 environmental sounds to its limits. GTA San Andreas running so smoothly on the PS2 is a technical achievement. The San Andreas and Morrowind game maps were smaller than GTA 5 and Skyirm. Yet both San Andreas and Morrowind both feel bigger thanks to the environmental variety and gameplay.

    san andreas is so impossibly good, i truly believe it is rockstar’s best game and is a true work of art in so many ways. it’s one of the best examples of lightning in a bottle and it will stand the test of time and live on for generations with other masterpieces like resident evil 4, yakuza 0, new vegas, the last of us, world at war, metal gear solid 3, and the original doom.
