What's impressive is that this was real, and not a CGI. They had to film this in two parts because the set wasn't big enough (look closely at the floor when the muffler starts rolling at about 0:56 and you will see the splice), but it is a functioning Rube Goldberg machine.
And it took about 100 takes to film. One can imagine the sense of relief when it all worked as planned -- though I'd think the jubilation would be caught on camera!. 'The Way Things Go' (1987) is a similar (and much longer) example, but there are noticeable edits. 'Making of the Honda Cog' is good. Some mistakes are sorta funny, but undoubtedly aggravating to those involved. 'Japanese Rube Goldberg Contest' is also quite captivating. Undoubtedly, many other examples out there.
Yeah, 3 tires rolling uphill is very real, and the muffler rolling so many times from a tiny touch, when its not even a circle shaped, yeah, very real.
I have a 2004 Honda Accord Euro. I'd bought it as my first car in 2021 and have it to this day. It is hard to believe it's a 20 y/o car. Rides and handles better than most new cars.
This was a very fun video, and a very satisfying and funny Rube Goldberg machine involving, fittingly, car parts! Great job putting this gem together ❤️
The GONG from the "muffler tube" resonates because it's actually a "RESONATOR". It balances the frequencies and exhaust from the engine to muffle the noise.

Nice commercial and amusing but way too absurd, specially the wheels part where the damn things are rolling upward like there is a chance in hell that could happen...and the car exhaust rolling by itself like pure magic...genius commercial but a bit too absurd.
@@JuanFuentes8492 The wheels *were* rolling uphill. They were internally weighted to make them do that. No, they wouldn't do that *without* the special weights, but they're still real wheels really rolling uphill.
Never been a better car advert yet..... Except from a decade earlier when one car was thrown out the back of a plane... Made a hell of an impact when it landed.
We used this to demonstrate how the individual elements of a team are important but all need to work together to get the end result - i.e. if one of the components was slightly out the whole thing fails! Agree the choice of music is inspiring
Love my 03 Accord EXV6 Coupe think ill put the Metal trim in there just like how this euro Accord does. Man the European and Japanese Model Accords. Always get the good stuff unlike here in the states.
