Classy? That CGI dancer looked like an arthritic octopus ran over by a train and stitched together by Dr. Frankenstein. Creepy AF. The Mini was stupid and weird, Audi extremely sad and conveying a wrong message (cars for long extinct dinosaurs). Even the Honda didn't age very well.
@@carmusicvibes359 Then they should've chosen another animal that symbolizes an outcast like an underdog, not a giant monster that is better at scaring people.
That Honda commercial, still puzzles me how do the tires go upwards. Any minor micro inclination from a flat surface plane makes tires (and the whole car for that matter) start rolling gravity-wards.
They had heavy weights in the uphill side of the tires. I saw a long video about how they put it all together once. Something like eighty takes to get it right.
Since I was doing research on car commercials, I didn't think anything at first when the ads on this video were car commercials but I was like "this is the best ever? It's not BAD... but there's no wow factor" and then I saw the "skip ad" button LOL
The first one had me so confused and I was laughing so much at the randomness 😂 Edit: who else is Irish and was really happy the t rex voice actor was Irish? Just me? Ok...
Well...Gene Kelly is it who you call "the guy". Taken from the movie "Singin in the rain" from 1952. A very good CGI-work if you imagine the original movie!
About the first ad. This is basically how traffic looks like in Italy, more honking for making it even more real should be considered. Trust me, I was driving in Rome, then to the northern part of the country and back to Rome. Driving in the city is insane, I loved it. I can compare it only to driving in Turkey. However, Italy requires you to be a good driver, but in Turkey you need to have reflexes of Alonso. Greetings to all Italian friends!
For weeks I've seen this thumbnail on my UA-cam feed with the dog disappearing into the back seat, but now that I finally get around to watching, no dog!
The Mini commercial would have been more accurate of the driver was a lady with the "I need to speak to your manager" haircut complaining about having to pay a diagnosis charge to find out why the check engine light is on.
I've been searching for a car commercial from 20 or 30 years ago. It opens with a rook on a chess board. The image pans out and the viewer sees the piece on a board through the window of a moving train as the train passes through a metal bridge trestle. The image pans out and the viewer sees the car that is the subject of the commercial on a nearby road sort of keeping pace with the train. The image continues to pan out highlighting the car, the train now in the background pulling into a station as our perspective gets upended by a boy and a man standing in what is a model train set-up. The boy picks up the train car off the track as the camera pans out through the window of the train station and we see the car driving down the road again. I have no idea what model car is being advertised in the commercial and have done many Internet searches for this to no avail. If you have any idea to what commercial I'm referring, please give a holler.
I love car commercials especially the ones where it shows literally nothing related to a car then they say their car brand name really intensely. (shows video of kid doing a backflip and then growing up to become an Olympic champion) *FORD*
Maybe some deeper meaning . Aka Ford beating Ferrari at LeMans for example . From a simple car manufacturer became the champion over the bests. And yes this took me 3 years to reply 😂😂
The irony of skipping a car ad to watch more car ads

We need to see a lot more car ads like this.
Also the last ad with the dinosaur was so wholesome - it made me tear up.
I don't understand the last one.
@@terryyee0124 The dinosaur was sad, he wasnt like other people, we was bullied, he couldnt do anything. Then he meets a car that can make him happy.
@@carmusicvibes359 Then they should've chosen another animal that symbolizes an outcast like an underdog, not a giant monster that is better at scaring people.
I think ads should not be too abstract to comprehend the main idea. People don't have much time to think about what's behind the story.
@@terryyee0124It grabs attention, that's what companies try to seek

The best part? My '98 Honda Accord still . . . just . . . works.

Only the accord commercial is a real Car commercial
That one almost doesn’t belong here. It’s a masterpiece that happens to be a car commercial.
We watched the Honda one in class 😂
Same, I watched it in STEM as part of those cause and effect things

Well...Gene Kelly is it who you call "the guy". Taken from the movie "Singin in the rain" from 1952. A very good CGI-work if you imagine the original movie!
But what does it have to do with the car being advertised (other than just shown parked in the commercial....) 🙄
The last one was beautiful 😭😭😭
The T-Rex one was kinda sweet, but I feel bad that the car isn't designed with space for his tail.
A tail hole in the seat is an optional extra 😅
Thanks for a great compilation ... 3:08 the Golf GTI ad came across as a little creepy though ... watch the hands =)
This is the best commercial ad I have seen on youtube. Y.Lo Translations approved. El mejor anuncio que he visto en youtube.
