Appreciate it! That’s cool you get to work on that product. As a fellow engineer combined with my fishing passion I would be curious to see the process. They are fantastic fishing rods!
@@campetro10 The process is really fun! I love being able to combine my passion with my career. Check out our new line of GLX Bass rods that just came out. They are an incredible product.
I have been mainly using G.loomis/ Lamiglas rods for over 20 years . I have some new g. Loomis rods , but have not even put a reel on them yet . my old ones are lasting to long .
I think the IMX Pros are tough to beat for the money. they have very similar actions and ratings to the NRX+ line. in applications that don't require the absolute best sensitivity IMX Pro series is the way to go to save some money. Ive tried the GLX line and they are great rods but I dont think its enough of a step up for the money. in my opinion you mine as well jump to the NRX+ series.
@@campetro10 I’ve heard that before about bypassing GLX straight to NRX+. Personally I have an 845CB in IMX but I’m going to get Expride a shot at filing those treble hook roles
@@campetro10 I like it a lot but I’m not really sophisticated. For me it’s a great 3/4oz treble rod. I don’t think it’s a good for 1/2 or lighter sqarebill. I use 843cb for that stuff with 15# FC and it’s fine.
MBR style action is the way to go. Love the way they load while also being fast action. A tough combination to find
Sweet video man! Glad you like our rods. Our quality is hard to beat. Tight lines!

They are solid rods.
You prefer IMX Pro to GLX or other models of GLoomis?
