Great video Barry! You really take the time to show how critical it is to make sure fitment is good or at times close enough, lets face it, the stampings no matter how good may still not fit perfectly and that will drive modifications to be done. Thanks for all you do!
Barry, you just don't know, or maybe you really do, just how much your details and your measurements mean to people who are watching this. I am in the middle of a full dynacorn floor pan assembly installation on my 69 fastback and my stress level is high but gaining confidence as I watch your slither project progress and I will reference your videos down the line as I get to my panel replacements. My issue is not so much the rust because I've owned my car for 35 years and that's already been taken care of but I did pro street it 20 years ago and pretty much gutted my car from the front floor supports all the way back to the tail light panel and now reversing all that to go back to stock. And parts, yes! Parts laying around. It sure is nice to throw empty parts boxes away. Thank you so much for these videos brother! 👍
Sure do love the 69 mach1 my brother Bobby died in 2001 he had a 69 with the 428 Super Cobra Jet it was one of the fastest cars around our town back then
Watching your video on Friday afternoon motivates me to work on my wife's 1965 Mustang on Saturday morning. Thank you for all of the detail work you are putting into Slither.
The 3/4 rear view of a fastback Mustang is one of the most beautiful sights in the world. I have a 2020 GT and every time I look at it I see where those lines come from. You’ve really done a nice job on this one.
I bought a used HF pinch welder off FB and used it on my tail panel on my chevelle and a windshield channel on a 59 Apache. Worked great but yes,it is heavy. As for the cord. I already had an extension i made for my welder. If you do alot of body work like you do it could be a time saver.
I can tell you have alot of personal satisfaction of a job well done and why not? You sir are one of the best of the best. Congratulations on a job well done thusfar. Good to see your moving around like a healthy 45 year old should. Stay safe.
Just wait till you get your weather seals on the trunk and around the doors, everything may change on you. It happens to the best of us. There are frame measurements for "loaded and unloaded" engine in and on the ground to unloaded with engine out, but, I am sure you already figured those in to your build.
Good job people don't understand cars are built by numbers not the old that looks good to me just weld it . Worked in prototype and race car stuff, check and Double check

Wow Barry, you look refreshed and happy in your work. The video and audio is super, nice editing of both. Things have stepped up a notch.

I watch a lot of automotive mechanical and body work content on UA-cam. This man is a meticulous craftsman !

hi barry looking very good .👍👍👍👍👍👍😄😄
Looking really great fine work you have done
Very good .
Open with a recording of Reba singing the national anthem and your videos will be better than the Super Bowl to watch. Tom
That must have been pretty satisfying getting all that welded in solid! Great job! I don't envy all the welds you needed to grind down! LOL
see why you were looking at spotwelders
WooHoo 3rd like. First comment. Let me show you something - Fire Marshal Bill.
😂
I use a small 110 volt spot welder from Harbor Freight. Works good, looks factory and no grinding welds..
What kind of spot welder would you buy?
I have looked at harbor Freight. That’s about it.
Nice welding. Are you going to bronze braze the roof to sail panel seams?
No. I may weld some n an overlap piece. Still deciding.
Side marker holes are precut or you cut them i need to cut some
Precut
Are you going back with Lead for the roof seam?
No plan for that.
@@JoDaddysGarage that’s exactly what I did for my 1968 Cougar.
I've enjoyed this alot. Just curious if you are going to get back onto the Camaro next?
That is the current plan.
@@JoDaddysGarage also maybe Dynacorn will work with you on your Mustang build.
