Thanks, good work, i've had a couple of 600s apart for service and this has given me the confidence to service some 7700s that i just acquired. There is something weird with my Left hand sti it doesn't join up seamlessly at the top where the moving part rests against the plastic cover and the hood... its a good 2 mm forward which is really baffling But now I've seen this video i can feel more confident about having a serious go at investigating! cheers :)
Hey great video ! I just tried to service my pair of 7700's and they are different from the inside than yours i'm aware of flight deck and 25th anniversary editions. Anyway i did not manage to put back the left one do you have some service manuals that could help me ?
I don’t. The video is also intended for people who need to replace a certain part. If you can get yours to work again just blasting it with wd40 or whatever then do it by all means.
I got to say you got more balls than me. I took one sit shifter apart than thru it away was in way over my head. Good job.
thanks for the effort! Very educational.

Sorry shimano has no service manuals other then very basic stuff like removing the lever. Odd that there are 2 versions of these
How do you know if the problem with the shifters will be fixed by taking it apart and cleaning everything? My shifters don't always catch.

@@atboy4342 Oh- I didn't mean to sound critical. My shifters are iffy, so I'm looking into options. The videos are great. Thanks.
Same Here, mines are grasping at nothing Sometimes. Thanks for the Video!!
