"One man's trash is another man's treasure." This is a timeless classical vehicle with plastic-free, maintainance, enjoy that tresure...thanks for sharing.
I'm just graduating highschool and wish I had the knowledge to do these kinds of things... So many old abandoned vehicles in my area that would be so worth restoring but I don't know how to do any of it... You're honestly an inspiration to work towards the goal of being able to work on my own stuff like this, found you from the ford 600 video a while ago and you randomly popped up in my recommended again.
Just gotta start doing it. My first car I fixed up out of high school was a $500 Porsche cayenne and then the 3000gt vr4 I have a couple videos of. Then a couple years later the Land Cruiser popped up. If you want to learn something watch videos and just do it. That’s what I did. You gotta enjoy it.
She is a beauty, you did well to save her :) I have a Serie 7 (LJ73 Hardtop) and I can't say how much I love this piece of rust :) Changed the head and head gasket and now she starts and runs like a brand new card. Those toyota were built to last.
You have a lot of talent for as young as you are Most importantly you're willing to work To accomplish All the things that you do I thought it was a piece of crap when you first picked it up But towards end of the video I was wishing I had it
Let a man enjoy his project. We all have our own ways of doing things, he tried his best and gave it a new life. Turned out better than where it came from. No need to hate on the build. Love from Australia
You earned a subscriber! I discovered your channel from the yellow trailer restoration, and I have to comment to show my respect for your great work. You are killing it man, congratulations on the Land Cruiser too.
As an FJ62 owner myself, issues creep up and creep up hard. Unless this thing was in perfect working condition when parked, there is a lot more coming your way. All the while worth it, just be ready. Very possible the situation of the previous owner got it to this state (sick, immobile, no longer cared?), but the cooling system in it's entirety should probably be replaced (possibly a thermocure flush to get rid of any rust in the block first? It goes a long way), get an aqua fan clutch, dex 6 transmission flush including a bottle of lubegard when you're done, check every piece of rubber underneath, knuckles, tie rods, seafoam 500 miles before a change... I hope these things are on your list. Not to be negative, it's beautiful and awesome that you brought it back to life but just because it's a landcruiser doesn't mean it's good to go. I definitely felt your excitement when you cranked it after the oil and fuel flushes. Took me back to when I did the same thing with mine. Check the compression and oil-wise look into something like Rotella T4. Diesel oil but these things love it. I just don't want to be a comment telling you how awesome everything you did is. Just to be aware. Your base is fantastic and if you treat it right it only goes up from here. Cheers! Love it! Subscribed!
There are more videos about this truck but for the most part it only say 4 years it’s good to go. Transmission wouldn’t shift right but I got it freed up. Didn’t take much to get it going good
Indeed, I've owned my '89 FJ62 base model for 25 years now and I am only now finally addressing things like the 4 brakes, front axle, cooling system, radiator, oil leaks, water pump, thermostat, etc. Makes a huge difference and is worth the hard work and costs. Greetings from south Africa.
Amazing rig, nice job cleaning it up and getting it out of that field. If you have any interest in selling it, I would be happy to give it a great home. Been looking for a FJ62 for a while now
Loved the video. Out of curiosity, can you please tell me what pressure washer did you use? I need to get one and really liked the performance of the one you have.
Started up my Jeep Grand Cherokee 93’ Zj after 6 years of it sitting. Battery was dead of course but a jumpstart and 15 seconds later it started right up and chilled at 1100rpm. Brakes where jammed but some throttle in drive and reverse and it was good to go. Drove it 100 miles without any issues 🤣 have it all on tape
looks night and day better compared to the first video 💪🏽 maybe the first will it run turned giveaway ? i’m sure that would bring in a crowd 🎉💯 keep up the awesome stuff Braden👍🏾
Great job on this FJ62 👍 can you tell me what size/make of steel rims you put on? It looks like they fit without spacers? Thanks, and I'll look forward to your future videos!
17in black “trd” steel wheels got them on eBay for pretty cheap maybe 60-70 a wheel I can’t remember. I use super clean to knock off the old coating and then go back over it with clear to make them gloss
@@jasondante313 no spacers needed but I run them on both my 62 bc it just looks better imo. Typically need a little bit larger ones for rear to make them even with front
For example, I love this clip very much, but its beauty is always spoiled by music. We want to hear the sounds of nature speaking, not music and ugly songs, for example....
One of the most satisfying videos I’ve ever seen. Thank you
Talk about a transformation!! She turned out great!!

Nice job Braden and a real credit to all your hard work on this project. Looks ace. 🇦🇺
My Mom had an FJ40 when I was a kid. I loved that Land Cruiser.
I love your process starting from the basics of cleaning it then working your way up to the big stuff, awesome videos.

Just start brother. I’m currently doing three project cars and you learn as you go. Plus UA-cam will teach you.
Amazing! I'm on the hunt for an FJ60. I know a few in my area that are sitting unloved and I'm bugging the owners to sell them to me! 🤘🏼🇺🇲

Who in their right mind would abandon a Land cruiser, well done on the rescue job.
Damn man I’d never ever sell that it’s freakin mint!! That was a super satisfying video to watch!! I wish I could find one like that👍👍

Ah these are so cool and pretty hard to find in good condition. We’ll done!
Painting the rotors while you rattle canned bits of the frame hurt my soul. Nothing wrong with rattle can paint but you just threw it on with no prep

I am absolutely in love with this project, well done 🤝

Also as an FJ62 owner I was thinking “man, if only it were this easy” but regardless this one cleaned up super nice
seafoaming an old high mileage truck you're not familiar with = blocked oil pickup tube
Looks amazing!! great job and great compilation.
this video is legit, man did you do an amazing job to bring back this ol land cruiser
Your mix of detailing skills with great car knowledge goes a long way. New subscriber!
Man I love your videos! Amazing content!! 🤙🏼💯💯
Well done! That Toyota would sell REALLY high now, or make a great off-road project rig.
My first landcruiser was a manual diesel 60 series, and I’m still on my second is an auto turbo diesel 80 series. They are the best!
Man, that thing is sweet! Wish I could find a fixer upper like that. Nice job.
Awesome, thanks for showing.
The way you paint that bumper and undercarriage 🥲

Would have been so easy to put some paper behind that bumper!
Great job though!

I see that DSM in there! I’d love to do something like this.
3000gt vr4
Brp estimasi nya LC..VXR.?
Is this the FJ62 that was sitting just outside of North Clarksville?
Ky
If you know of anymore I’d buy them
Plenty in Aus 😂
Which soap cannon are you using?
Some cheap Walmart brand
She looks clean. Nice find and great job.
I wish I knew how to work on cars. I would love to find some older Toyotas to restore
How much did you pay for it?
Nice job will u sell it ???
Well done painting it on rusty point, so it pops up again the first time it rains
Subaru mats in a landcruiser is definitely not right!
I have owned one for 27 years they are bullet proof, they will take any type of abuse and will never ever let you down.
Man i really thought u was gana polish the chrome on that front bumper :(
love it
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Везет же вам, на заднем дворе можно найти живую тойоту, видели бы вы на каких помойках в России ездят.
