Can never understand why you would immediately make your bed. I throw back the covers and air my bed (with the window open) for at least an hour. I think this is more a European thing
Interesting cultural difference!
I was raised in Tennessee and we aired out the bed as well, so maybe it’s a humidity thing. 😂 We’d throw back the covers when we got up, then make the bed after breakfast.
Yes it a hygenic thing to reduce bacteria it's common practice in Europe. In Germany they hang the duvet out the window to air.
I’m in New York and I always sit out the bed for an hour or so before making it
Same with me here in Ohio. My mom always did that.
I’ve got night sweats due to (being that age in life as a woman…) so I always make my bed as pretty as I can by pulling down the comforter so it can allow everything to dry out during the day. 😳 Please tell me I’m not the only one!

I am about your Dad's age,12 years WFPB, 110+ pounds permanently gone, and I agree with Chef AJ. I have lots of Sweet Potatoes and Broccoli 5 or 6 days a week. She is absolutely right!

Excellent points! ❤ I make myself set a 60 min timer on my phone to repeatedly remind me to get up and do a few squats or jumping jacks or something - anything! It’s so easy to get engrossed in something and, before you know it, the day is half gone! And making my bed… after a little airing out! 😂 Have a wonderful day!

Always make my bed every morning, always have since a child and I’m 67. Think it came from always being told to get your chores done before play was allowed. Just as well, I always make sure things are picked up before going to bed.

I’m not saying I haven’t done it but the problem I have and I try to do it. It’s just because you go out to eat doesn’t mean you have to get the garbage food. You can get healthy food going out to eat like Chinese. I tell people you can get steamed meat, seafood, and vegetables without rice, I got a fajita chicken salad from the Mexican place and didn’t eat the corn tortilla bowl
