Although this didn't work for me, the unintended thing I learned was putting my PC flat on the floor on its side instead of standing it up vertically fixed my problem. I have no clue why this works for me, but I'm sharing it to you guys if you're still having issues. I hate that it takes more space, but it's better than buying a new mobo or power supply.
It could be that your GPU might be too heavy and it is damaging your PCIe slot, but then again, i'm no professional, that's just something I heard could happen😅
This worked for me and I almost died of laughter. PC continued to work after standing it back up after the sideways boot too so hopefully it stays that way. Many thanks
For those of you that this didn't fix, I had the same issue. My issue was the CMOS battery died. Try pulling that out as mine wouldn't boot with the dead one in.
For me it was at the lowest point in the motherboard underneath a cable named power SW, I suggest you pull out the power to the pc first then try disconnect it an re-connect it, but if the pc was bought off eBay I’m sorry to say but it’s probably 10 years old in a brand new case
I had the exact same problem and fix as you, and I think I might know what caused the issue for me. See, before this issue occurred I cleaned the top of my PC and the cases’s front IO and buttons with a damp cloth. I suspect some of the moisture must have upset the reset button. Maybe the reset button is more susceptible to an electrical short caused by moisture because it’s so much smaller than the power button.

@KRISHNA-PATHAK I have replaced my MSI Bazooka v2 b450 motherboard with new Asus motherboard and it worked. The same hardware but with new motherboard works fine. So the issue is in the motherboard.
@KRISHNA-PATHAK My board is not dead, for sure. It is starting but doesn't pass the POST check (EZ Debug). hello bro, I read several of the comments where you said to assemble the PC outside the case and it worked! but when i tried to reconnect the pc inside the case without the reset cable as you mentioned, the problem was still there, any ideas?
Thanks for stopping by! So yes you are halfway there already that you know now your pc works outside of the case so you can easily rule out any fault with mobo, cpu, ram, gpu and psu. Now you just need to check what is causing the problem inside the case. In my case, reset wire was the culprit. Others things could be maybe your case is shorting, that part of mobo maybe touching the case or not mounted properly, or any other wire that comes form the case is shorting the problem. Maybe try to first just connect the cables only after assembling inside the case and then one by one connecting more required cables.
I'm gonna have to test this out, cause I have TWO PCs in a similar state. One I believe is the exact same board as yours, so it'd be interesting if the solution was the same.
Thanks for stopping by mate! Why not! Give it a try. Even if in case my exact solution won't work I would highly suggest that please try to assemble your skeleton parts outside of the case. That's how I pinpointed my issue. In my case it was booting just fine when i assembled my parts outside of the case and it signalled that somehow my case was causing the issue and then I was able to find out the reset button cable coming out of the case was causing the whole problem.
I have NZXT H5 Flow case and it seem it doesn’t have this Reset button, I have checked all the other components can’t seem to find any issue. Been stuck on this for a week. Don’t know what else to do here
Thanks for stopping by mate! First thing I'd suggest you to assemble your components outside of the case, only the skeleton components (mobo, 1 ram stick, cpu) and see it it boots normally and the one by one keep adding other parts to see where the problem arises. This is how I was able to determine that there was nothing wrong with my parts. Now coming back to your comment. If don't have the reset button then try unplugging other of the case cables like Led or other adjacent cables that comes from case.
I also have the same case and problem, the case comes with a wire that has all of those combined into one four pin wire instead of separate ones.. I’ve tried everything and can’t find the problem, new mobo and gpu, only thing I can think of is psu smh

@@KecekMolek_ Solution: basically, take out the cable of the reset button from your motherboard. The case's reset button is likely faulty, and who needs it anyway? Just locate the correct cable on the motherboard and pull it out. See 2:45 for a shot of the front IO connectors, he is holding the cable labled RESET. That's the one to remove. There should also be a tiny legend printed nearby on the motherboard which will show you which of the two pins are for the reset switch. Yeah, just disconnect the RESET cable, see if the computer boots.

did you find a fix?
sometimes my pc will be running fine, then what'll happen is it'll go black screen and i lose my keyboard and mouse......the motherboarde lights stay on and the fans etc continue to run- oddly enouggh, i had to reset it by switching psu off, as rreset button didn't do anything.... i'll have to look at my reset button
Same issue did you find any fix ?
I dont have this reset cable what i can make😢
hello bro, I read several of the comments where you said to assemble the PC outside the case and it worked! but when i tried to reconnect the pc inside the case without the reset cable as you mentioned, the problem was still there, any ideas?
It worked for me as well. Just had to unplug and replug de supply reset and apparently it just fixed the problem
@@judo2629 Have you found any solution ?it happened to me today 😢
Hey man, my pc's problem is that my monitor's display just turns off and turns off the pc entirely. The problem is, is that the cpu is still on with its fans running while the pc is off (monitor no display at all) What caused this to happen, i really wanna know
Thanks for stopping by mate! Try booting your pc by assembling your components outside of the case. If it works outside of the case then you can pinpoint what's exactly causing the problem. That's how I found my problem.
It didn't work for me. I disconnected that reset, and still nothing.
Thanks for stopping by mate! Got it mate. Maybe try assembling your parts outside of the case that's how I pin pointed that the problem was with the case since my pc booted normally when i assembled skeleton parts outside of the case. Read the description I have talked about the whole problem in brief.
For me usually removing the cmos battery and pressing the power button / holding it for 20 seconds or so worked for me both times this happened.
Had the same problem. Simply replaced ram in another slot and it booted up again
Hello, my pc don't have an reset sw
I removed the cmos battery for 10 minute. Then everything was back to normal. I think that xmp profile with ram at 3600 mhz is my problem.
I have an i3 12100f
I'm going through the same issue but I have no reset button...so frustrating
Today I have become a victim of this if you find any solution please let me know
@@faithrestored2013did you ever find one?
Hey bro my PC is working fine all the fans spinning mouse and keyboard light alao working but monitor shows no signal and then black screen..... Please tell me how can I solve this ?
Good tip man ... for me I unplugged pwr and replaced with reset and it worked 😅 thanks
Idek what that is i check my pc and cant find it dude
Does anyone know, if we leave that reset cable unplugged, what impact does that have on the PC?
Thanks for stopping by mate! The thing unplugging that reset cable will cause is that your case's reset button won't work anymore.
@@spacecowboigaming ah thanks! turns out i cant even do this cause mine is all attached together, its not seperated like yours unfortunately. but i did find the issue, turns out i had faulty ram sticks that the store sold me so replaced it and it now works like a charm
@@spacecowboigaming Reset as in restart ?

Btw I removed the reset pin and reseated it and it still worked.
i have the same problem cpu and dram ez debug led was blinking alternately, and my monitor, mouse, and keyboard not working

@@saox_z yes, i just followed what he did in the vid. i was a bit skeptical at first but it worked.
Bro you save my life, me and my friends were trying to fix it for like 2 days watching indians...
It did work for me, I think I have another issue on top of that though, probably SSD related as can’t get past boot screen now, system freezes
Hello space! Can y out help me locate the reset cable? I bought this PC from someone for my kids. It was working perfect for a long time until the power went out then this problem happened where the screen don’t have signal and the keyboard or mouse won’t work. Any help I would appreciate it!!!
Thanks for stopping by mate!
I am giving you a link to a photo where you can see those tiny cables. They are connected on the corner of the motherboard. The reset SW cable was the one that was shorting in my case.

Sorry mate I can't exactly tell you about this issue but yes I would suggest you to look on reddit or post your problem by yourself on subreddits r/buildapc and r/pcmasterrace. Those are the places where I found solution for my problem.
Please just get to the point!

bruh did u get this problem again after doing this step ? i mean do we get same problem in future ,i just removed that plug and now its working fine
thanks for stopping by! from my experience nothing has happened and it has already been 5 months since when I posted this video, to this date everything is normal. The pc works just fine the only thing the unplugging of reset wire causes is that the reset button on your case will not work.
@@spacecowboigaming f reset button I'm glad my pc is working now thanks to you 😁
I m facing exactly same problem. But i m getting light in mouse
No signal to display & keyboard

Dude you're a life saver!!! I've been struggling with the same problem on my second pc for about a month. For me was the PLED +/- cables. But the concept was the same! Thanks!
Hey mate, thanks for stopping by! I'm super happy to know that it worked for you! Enjoy!
@spacecowboi8707 so what do you do? Unplug the reset or power led cable and then put it back again?
@@southernaviator7010 just unplug the reset cable. don't use it anymore
@juphillereycadion7963 thanks for the reply. Turns out my GPU was dead. Had to RMA it.
@@southernaviator7010 hey man thanks for stopping by! Yes just leave it unplugged as the other user already replied. It won't do any harm to your pc. The only consequence it brings is that the reset button on your case won't work anymore.
Just Remove the cable or same cable buy other one ?
I just removed my reset cable and it fixed the issue for me.
Can someone help me locate my reset cable so i can unplug it i think it could be the same issue with mine my pc it comes on and lights on leds fans are all on but still no display, mouse or keyboard i have unplugged all usb ports and fully reset the pc but no luck has to be the reset button 😢😢😢 i want to play again havnt used my pc in 1 month now i could send a picture of my pc so someone can help me.

Of all thing's that it could have been, it was this tiny little shit that caused it.. WOW. THANKS A MILLION!!!
Yes! I got so pissed off upon knowing that I had already bought a new PSU, did weeks of assembling and disassemble of parts and cleaning while this thin cable was causing it all along!
Nothing works for me 😭😭😭

Thanks for stopping by mate! hahah yeah I can understand, not a good speaker really but I had to record a video for this damn problem! I'm glad to know it helped you!
How you fix it? I dont understnd any what he said.. help bro
@@KecekMolek_
Solution: basically, take out the cable of the reset button from your motherboard. Yeah, just disconnect the RESET cable, see if the computer boots.
im facing exact problem but it was not my cable
My brother i dont know how to say this but. Its the first time a yt video workingforme. Thankyu so much 😢❤️❤️
glad it worked for you mate, thanks for your comment!

Thanks you for stopping by mate! I hope it worked for you.
Im having a similair issue. Replaced my mobo since alot of people were reporting the asus TUF boards were bad and having same error light as me. It had a faulty dram light on, though the ram is fine. Hooked everything back up, still having same problem. Tested psu and its good. Anyone got any suggestions? Im stumped at this point.
Yo dude this literally saved my day!!! Thanks a lot!
Bro you save me! But the question is its okay not to plug that again?
Thanks for stopping by bro! The only thing the unplugging of that reset SW cable causes is that your reset button on the case will not work anymore. I don't remember my reset button was ever useful hahah
I removed it didnt work 😞
Thanks for stopping by mate! Try unplugging other cable maybe one of the others is shorting as in my case it was reset cable. Try assembling your pc outside of the case with just skeleton parts and check if it is working fine, that's how I found my problem.
Thankfully it was just the ram
I tried this now my pc won't even turn on
Maybe, you unplugged your power button wire instead of reset button wire. Be careful as they are very small wires and can be plugged incorrectly very easily.
Whats is bro yapping about 🤦♂️
