I was a movie theater manager when This is The End came out. we offered ADA devices that provided visual descriptions of the films for visually impaired viewers to listen to with headphones during the movie. It is just a very straightforward, no affect play by play of the action on screen. I had to test them. Let me tell you this was by far the most hilarious Visual Narration of a film ive ever heard. Love the podcast thanks!
Always better as a serial actor , series and television 📺 But that's just how it goes sometimes. 🤷 He has both successfully, so he just needs to find a great project to lead and he'll be great. It'll happen one more good time.
Great film !! Amazing movie and I’ve watched over 20 times. The funniest part was Danny shouting at the guy that poked his head in the window 😂😂 mimicking him. Best part of the movie.
I love this movie, but I wouldn't necessarily call it the very best of this era. I think that's a spot reserved for either Knocked Up, Superbad, 40yr OV, or 21/22 Jump Street. But it's up there mos def
Cera arguably had the best career move after this film because he landed a role on "Twin Peaks." Franco's was most interesting though. I wish his career didn't get sidelined. Really love what McBride is still doing though, in the comedy realm of all these guys, he's king.
My favorite scene is definitely when Jonah gets possessed 😂 for me he was the MVP of this movie. I've never been a huge Danny McBride fan even though he was awesome in this, all the Michael Cera stuff was gold 😂. Best joke in the movie was the running joke about Seth getting titty fucked 😂😂😂
I hope they'd talk about the Frat Pack films with Luke Wilson, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Steve Carrell, Ben Stiller and Paul Rudd.
Mila Kunis is way funnier than Emma Watson for sure. But, because she's funnier they would have given her more jokes to tell and potentially taken away from the main group. So in a weird way, Watson works as the 'straight woman'. Great pod gents!
I don't see my What's aged the worst? comment about Seth Rogen's racist comments about not working with white people. Was it removed? And if so, why? Note: I included a link to the article. Could that have been the issue? I appreciate your time and look forward to your response.
i thought this movie just kept going up and up and then just exploded in true bliss in the credits. I do not understand why step brothers and walk hard is not similarly loved.
You couldn’t redue this movie but you could film a different house, during the same apocalypse, in Hollywood with actors from their own generation. You could use the Ocean’s 11 crew or some shit.
Can I give a list of rewatchables I'd like to see y'all do. 1. American Gangster 2. The Patriot with Mel Gibson 3. Tropic Thunder 4. The Mask of Zorro 5. Killshot
The party was the most frightening thing about the movie. I would rather be hunted by a demon than attend such a party. I never heard about Danny McBride before and that guy was just annoying in that movie.
One of my most anticipated movies of the last 10-15 years and I was so disappointed. Love 40YOV, Knocked Up, Superbad, Eastbound but this just didn't work for me. I've given it 3 shots, barely laughed. I actually think every actor in the screenshot has been in a comedy better than this during that period.
Pineapple Express is way funnier. It's not aware of itself whereas all these guys all try to re-create ideas for comedy. Which isn't good. Ya can't make comedy's anymore that is original
I wouldn’t say McBride is the funniest. Did you watch him in 30 minutes or less??? He’s Amazingly funny !! 😂 but I would say he’s top 2. I would put Jason Sudeikis number one. That era Jason killed it along with McBride. Hall Pass, Horrible Bosses, there’s so many from that era
They pushed the limits, because Rogan and Franco lacked awareness. They were the only ones doing to really crude humor at the time (which was nothing new to Hollywood) because there was a cooling down period in comedy that they ignored. I am not making a woke statement. Bill not recognizing Franco as a younger Weinstein is disingenuous. Bill called Weinstein as not aging well for Good Will. Franco is a rapist and Rogan supported him (even joked about it, until he started to get cancelled). The rape-y scene with Franco siding against it was ironic and awful. Theme of 35 yr old pot heads acting like morons to make money off teenage boys is sad.
seth rogan and jonah hill's careers... the fact they got katherine heigl and emma stone as female leads in their movies... maybe kanye was on to something..............
I'm just glad we're seeing more on-camera Revwatchable VODs on UA-cam again. More of these episodes on this channel please, Bill.

How so? Is that available online?
The Karl Malone hell joke is actually so good
Danny McBride has vice principals and gemstones
Always better as a serial actor , series and television 📺
But that's just how it goes sometimes. 🤷 He has both successfully, so he just needs to find a great project to lead and he'll be great. It'll happen one more good time.
One of my favorite movies ever!! Remember like it was yesterday watching it in theaters when I was 13 lol…the whole theater couldn’t stop laughing
Every time myself and cousin are working on an appliance and we need a spot. The go to line is always, “you got me?” “I got you” fail
Chris Ryan's pronunciation of "vapid" has me shook
He probably says "gif" too
This episode is actually ITSELF a rewatchable.
The Podfather MC'ing the pod expertly with a small tablet. He is the GOAT.
When Danny McBride "shot" everyone. Their reactions. I died
Seth’s reaction had me dying lol
The talk about McBride taking over after Ferrell is interesting considering they made Land of the Lost together in 2009
Jason is also in How I Met Your Mother which he’s a legend in
You mean legend..... Wait for it
Dariy
Keep the videos coming please. Would watch every ringer pod in video form if I could.
McBride is definitely the funniest dude of the last 15+ years. He’s got the comedy game on his back currently
I haven't seen this movie in years, and I'm crying listening to these guys review this movie!!!
Anyone else tripped out by seeing what Craig looks like
Craig being handsome was the twist I didn't see coming
A lady scooped him up at The Ringer. I had figured he had a JB look from Project X
Handsome is a stretch, but he does have a voice of an out of shape 'videostore' geek so it's still a surprise.
Rogen , Baruchel, Danny, Jonah, and Franco had a great run !!!
PLEASE do “I Love you man”
Great film !! Amazing movie and I’ve watched over 20 times. The funniest part was Danny shouting at the guy that poked his head in the window 😂😂 mimicking him. Best part of the movie.

Coincidentally just rewatched the Franco roast
I still think that Jay and Jonah's beef should have been about Jay getting the lead over Jonah in How to Train Your Dragon
Paul Rudd was definitely part of this group and flew a bit under the radar in this. His cameo is also hilarious
you guys mentioned Hot Rod and forget Danny is throwing 150 mph in that too!
Please continue to crank these out!!!
one of the funniest movies of this era, up there with tropic thunder
Always imagined Craig would look like Badger from Breaking Bad.
It’s now friends doing skits and podcasts on yt & tiktok
The dude that pushed Jay in the hole and ran in the house was Jonah Hill
I love this movie. To this day I do the bird hands soaring over my meals. It’s pretty much how I say grace.
Cera arguably had the best career move after this film because he landed a role on "Twin Peaks." Franco's was most interesting though. I wish his career didn't get sidelined. Really love what McBride is still doing though, in the comedy realm of all these guys, he's king.
Can't argue with the twin peaks drop, he also got a part in Barbie.
*The cera scene is definitely real* 😂
feel like the last year or two has shown that jay baruchel had good instincts about jonah hill lol
This is one of the best homie movies.
I wanna be on The Rewatchables reviewing Ricochet and how underrated that movie is in the early 90's!!!😂😂😂
This is The End was like the multiverse of stoner movies
My favorite scene is definitely when Jonah gets possessed 😂 for me he was the MVP of this movie. I've never been a huge Danny McBride fan even though he was awesome in this, all the Michael Cera stuff was gold 😂.
Best joke in the movie was the running joke about Seth getting titty fucked 😂😂😂
Pineapple Express is funnier
McBride is awesome again in Righteous Gemstones
After an hour of listening to you guys talk about it, I can’t exactly not watch it now. Thanks.
Also, fucking cackled at Karl Malone in Hell.
Damn. I remember this movie but didn't know so many people love it.
Vice Principals needs a rewatch
I hope they'd talk about the Frat Pack films with Luke Wilson, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Steve Carrell, Ben Stiller and Paul Rudd.
48:00 “and Karl Malone” 😮
60's had The Rat Pack, the 80's had The Brat Pack, the 00's had The Jew Crew.
Do a spin off show called the un-watchables
Superbad is def the best comedy of this era without a doubt. So many stars born from that film
Mila Kunis is way funnier than Emma Watson for sure. But, because she's funnier they would have given her more jokes to tell and potentially taken away from the main group. So in a weird way, Watson works as the 'straight woman'.
Great pod gents!
Maybe one day you have to rename the dion waiters award, but as of right now that’s still the perfect name for it
I don't see my What's aged the worst? comment about Seth Rogen's racist comments about not working with white people.
I like most of the guys in the movie and I couldn't make it thru this movie on 2 different attempts
Danny McBride is the GOAT
You couldn’t redue this movie but you could film a different house, during the same apocalypse, in Hollywood with actors from their own generation. You could use the Ocean’s 11 crew or some shit.
What’s the deal with that apple charger
54:41 not apex but a great movie, Seth was also in Donnie Darko
Dudes! When are youdoing SNATCH??? This movie seems Taylor made for The Rewatchables!
And Karl Malone 😂 Is one of the all time lines from bill
Definitely the best comedy I’ve seen. Danny is a National treasure
If they ever made a movie about George Lucas, stick a beard on Jay Barachel and thats your guy.
The comedy of the decade and more or less the last great comedy.
30 minutes or Less is also all time MacBride stuff
You guys left out that Michael Cera got his eardrum busted by Rihanna’s slap
*CR doing Wayne Jenkins* GOD DAMN CRAIG!! DIDN’T KNOW I WAS LISTENING TO THE MOST HANDSOME MAN AT THE RINGER!!!
The answer to the question is no.
Can I give a list of rewatchables I'd like to see y'all do.
1. American Gangster
2. The Patriot with Mel Gibson
3. Tropic Thunder
4. The Mask of Zorro
5. Killshot
You probably know this but Rogan put Hitler in hell in the show Preacher.
Jonah hill americas sweetheart
2016 was Sausage Party too
Rewatchables is hands down the best podcast
There's no group of guys making comedies together because no one makes comedies anymore
“… yeah i mean… 😝👅
Never seen the whole thing. I couldn't get thru the first 15 mins
Waititi, Gunn, Rian Johnson all make good comedies.
I love this podcast but it has terrible yutbe connection. It wasn't the first 30 searches for This is the End and that's a problem.
Pineapple Express is way funnier. It's not aware of itself whereas all these guys all try to re-create ideas for comedy. Which isn't good. Ya can't make comedy's anymore that is original
Great Flick. But Not better than Superbad nor Pineapple Express.
It’s not in the same lane but Borat is the funniest movie of the 21st century and it’s not close.
Been together wine freaks geeks 90S
I keep forgetting the dude name with the blue jacket and glasses
Not better than SuperBad or Pineapple Express
Definitely not better then Superbad.
Horrific take
Ted Lasso fanboy spotted LMAO
@@replicantonaI never watched Ted lasso
No.
Learn how to pronounce the word “VAPID”!!!!!
I think this style of basically cannabis/ friends comedy got old. I prefer comedies which are smarter.
Same guys, same type of comedy. You're going to get burned out on it no matter the talent.
This movie was definitely one of the more mid comedies of the 2010s
This Horlbeck guy is pretty good.
Super overrated movie. It's a Simpson episode stretched into a 2 hour movie. Not close to Pineapple Express, Super Bad, 40 YOV, and others.
True.
The 40 yo virgin is over an hour too long.
They pushed the limits, because Rogan and Franco lacked awareness. seth rogan and jonah hill's careers... the fact they got katherine heigl and emma stone as female leads in their movies... maybe kanye was on to something..............
Lmao
This movie is garbage. Unfunny. Crap. I love the rewatchables, but none of y'all will ever change my mind. This movie is complete garbage.
Why is everything on the floor lol
But theses guys think they are adults🎉🎉😅
This was the last good comedy movie period
I think The Interview with Rogen and Franco was funnier and more memorable too
Adam Sandler crew is still holding it together
Shiiii Thor ragnarok was funnier than this
"This Is The End" was a terrible film. I'd rather watch Hangover 2 or 3, which were pretty bad.
McBride wins the movie? He's funny, but absolutely not.
