The iconic guitarist Robin Trower invites fans into the studio for the recording of “Ball of Fire,” the latest single from his new studio album, ‘No More Worlds To Conquer,’ out now via Provogue. According to Trower, the song was inspired by a documentary about an iconic actor. “’Ball Of Fire’ popped into my head the day after watching a program about Gary Cooper, who was in a film called Ball Of Fire,” he recalls.

No guitarist has ever stood the test of time like Robin. In my opinion the best guitarist.

Not underrated just unknown
@paulmatschull1923 yes for the most part. Either way it's a shame.
Long live Robin Trower one of the most fluent players ever to pickup a guitar I’ve enjoyed your Music throughout your career and you just keep killing it.
Hats off to Richard Watts, his vocals on the new album is fantastic!
I agree 100 percent. Everybody knows Robin's other lead singer was one of the best singers out there. This guy sounds great and can sing his butt off.Robin couldn't have found any better than this guy.✌👍👍👌👍
He reminds me a little of Bryan Adams.
Sounds like Glen Fry
@@jamescallahan7423 Fire to Ashes on the new album for sure.
He's EXACTLY perfect!!!!!
Robin Trower is one of the best guitarist in the world! 😎🎸👍🍷
He absolutely is! I’ve been going to see him since 1976, and the last time we saw him my late husband was in a power chair and Robin signed it right after he’d just had the storage box painted. Still looks awesome. Not ANY like him left. ☮️🎼
I Think so too!
So right, brilliant
The most underrated guitarist. He’s got great soul.
You got that right!
Robin Trower is a true legend. And his tasteful playing just seems to get better and better with age. I love that guy. And hats off to the brilliant band..! ✌✌✌
The Master is back n better than EVER!!!
Maybe not, but very good song.
@@turefromfinland3264 Oh he is the Master n he's absolutely back I've seen him live n he can still jam now as well as he did then. And I for 1 am still in awe of his jamming. Have a beautiful day n God Bless.
Um, he never left!
The man, the legend, the trower.
Trower being Trower, the master. Man, I am so impressed with his vocalist, what a voice!!
Thanks for giving Watts a well-deserved mention. That old reliable veteran drummer Chris Taggart sounds pretty darn good too! Very nice trio indeed.
I'm happy he finally got a decent singer. I don't think he's had a good singer since James Dewar, how I loved his voice and I was just listening to Back it up album, supposedly the last album he sang and everyone a crowd pleaser. We all miss you and your fantastic voice, Sir James Dewar, one of the best.
@@douglaschristine8387 I totally agree! Love James Dewar wonderful singer
@@douglaschristine8387 I got to meet James in the 70s at The Warehouse in NO LA when Robin was on tour with SLADE.
Anyway James was one of the nicest humans I have ever met. He was walking around in the crowd and I just walked up to him and asked him if he was James Dewar and he kind of smiled a little and said Yes he was. I told him I thought he was a Great singer and he thanked me. Just a super calm and super nice guy. Very peaceful easy going vibes.
Hard to believe I've been listening to R.T. since the 1960's. I enjoyed every bit of it.
There's only one Robin Trower....a master and a legend. I'm a fan since I first saw him in the 70's. Thanks for all the great music..rock on!!!!
I love how Robin's fingers look so relaxed, almost "slow" because they're so efficient at producing so much tone, emotion and color.
Like it's totally effortless.
Having long fingers is almost essential to playing guitar, imo. And “Not an easy instrument, ” as Prince would say.
@@douglasgeiste7086 exactly!
@@SassaFrass28 Prince was underrated on guitar. Actually was very very good, and overlooked a lot
@@F8Tributo IMO, Prince got his proper dues as a brilliant musician and song writer. At these levels, their talents are gifts from God, same with Robin Trower and other greats. “To whom much is given, much is expected.”
All through the years, Robin Trowers legendary ‘ About to Begin’ , and ‘For Earth Below’ , play in my head almost daily. Thank You sir, for the best in music companionship for us to enjoy 💝💝💝💝💝💝
Thanks Robin for keeping the music Alive you're really touched people's soul with such emotion in your playing.. Great band Bless your heart.
Super Cool tune! Great riff! Excellent Vocals! I have been a fan of Robin Trower forever, and this is some of His best playing that I have heard. Still Rockin big time in 2023!
Robin Trower continues to demonstrate that he is one of the best rock guitarists in the world. Glad to see he is still active. Sounds good.
Robin´s one of the most underrated musicians ever. I can´t stop listening !!!
Robin Trower was my first concert in 1974 and my first influence in my writing and playing!!! 🎼🎵🎶🎸🎸🎸😎
That must have been the Bridge of Sigh’s tour. How great is that?😀
Kev,same hear,12/'74 in St.Louis first time I saw him,James and Bill.Changed music for me in a great way.I 'm facebook friends with Bill and he's sending me an autographed set of drumsticks.I bought Bill's book,it is a great read, aspecially the part of when he was with Robin and Jimmy! Glad you enjoy Robin!

@@jettechdonatkins I saw him at Madison Square Garden it changed me musically for ever! I did all the tracks on this, the wind made me very dizzy ua-cam.com/video/yZU93jRjPfk/v-deo.html
@@windsurfer49 my first concert was a few months before seeing Robin,James and Bill,it was Hawkwind and UFO.Michael Schenker with UFO was great.I 've really enjoyed the RTB ever since seeing them in '74.I've seen them 7 times and got to meet Robin and get an autographed album on his Passion tour.I also really enjoy Frank Marino a lot as well.Peace to you my brother!
I always think of the Robin Trower Live album where the photo was taken from behind. Robin jamming in front of tens of thousands of fans in an open venue. Brings back my teenage years in the 1970's...
Pardon me, my eyes are tearing up.
To me, that album was some of his hottest playing I've ever heard.
Thank God he’s still playing, always loved Trower ❤
Robin, you are an inspiration to musicians everywhere. Just like a fine whiskey...gets better as it ages. Keep on making great music!
The Live Album is a Master Class in Hard Rock Blues ..
Yeah, "Robin Trower Live" (1975) is one of the greatest live albums ever.
LOVE...LOVE...LOVE...No more worlds to conquer.....Bravo Mr. Trower, Richard and Chris. Cannot wait for your return to USA. ❤❤❤
Don't think that I have ever listened to an album over and over again like I have Mr Trower's new album.. 👍👍
Try 'Tower Live'. O Yeah.
When I think of a Fender Stratocaster tone, I think of Robin Trower. He’s just got magic phrasing and a vibrato to die for.
Awesome! Great to see Trower mixing it up with the young guys.
The man IS a legend.
The music industry really needs to pay some respect while he is still here!!
Robin Trower my favorite!
Robin Trower just keeps on swinging, hits just as hard as 40 years ago. Wonderful musician.
Okay so after hitting replay 7 times, it’s safe to say, I love this song. A new classic from the master.
I'm really surprised on how high Robin's action is on the strat. I guess he need it high so he can dig in for those killer bends. Awesome song as well. Always nice to hear Robin kicking out the jams.
Totally in awe of Robin Trower’s music. Wish I had a chance to see you when you toured the US. Good for you still rocking all these years! We are lucky that you keep on blessing us with your gift. Thank you.
Great sound!!! Always one of my favourites. Long live Robin Trower!!! 🌟🌟🌟
What a prolific songwriter! All these new albums are great! My favorite guitarist!

@@nancydemoss608 ..take it you like Robin too
We've been at a Florida stop on EVERY tour of the States since BOS. A true legend and really nice guy. Congrats to Robin & Derek still doing it live and keeping tickets reasonably priced. Robin never needed flashy gimmicks or pyro technics Just a Strat and Marshall and those masterful fingers. Good heath to you sir Robin.
Robin Trower is a continual inspiration for me as a player and a man.
Trower always got the best pipes, from Dewar, Pattison, and now Watts.
Hats off to the legend.
My favorite guitarist since 1972. Love ya Robin!
Great song. My bones have been ready for this music. Looks like I'm buying an album.
Robin's playing is as good as it was 40 yrs ago and his bandmates really urge him on. Great vocalist too compliments the tune.
He always gets incredibly great sounds from his guitar. And, he plays very tastefully. I've had the privilege of seeing in action twice near Seattle. Great shows both.
Awesome! Bringing a little joy to Kansas on a Saturday morning.
I was 14 when I saw Robin Trower at the Forum in Los Angeles. My mom did not know I went to a concert. I was supposed to be spending the night a friends house. ... Day of the Eagle forever 🎵
Love Robin Trower good to see him still going
Watt's voice goes with Trower's playing like a match made in heaven. If heaven was real. :-))
Combo of his loose and soulful technique and his SOUND! ❤❤❤
Bravo, Sir Robin, you & your band mates sound great, love the new album, looking forward to seeing you live someday soon. Have seen you many, many times since 1976, always been my favorite, listen to you all the time.
great sound quality, pleasing vocals, lyrics work. Thanks Sir Robin Trower.
The old man is doing some of his best work here lately. Lovin' it.
The One and Only. No one alive comes near to him.
He is one of the few guitarists who has been listening for a long time.
Unmistakable Trower Tone. I hope you tour this in U.S.
That’s a badass jam , Robin Trower is still rocking, thank you
Wow! I just experienced true Masters at work! The pure and utter genius of Robin Trower never ceases to amaze me! And how about Richard Watts on vocals and Chris Taggart on drums..🔥🔥🔥

Trower Power forever. Long live Robin Trower.
Great song Robin and the singer has a killer voice
Saw Robin Trower in the 70’s and again about 10 years ago…unlike many aging guitar maestro’s he hasn’t lost his virtuoso ability.
STILL GOT IT! YOU"RE in MY HALL OF FAME ROBIN
Hare Krishna Robin Trower. I love your music. You should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Thank you
He isn’t in it ? Fucking horrible to not have him in the HOF ! But musicians know he is in their Top Guitarist
Another instant classic song by Trower. I've listened to this countless times already! 😎👍

You need to do more videos like this. Killin' it!
I’ve been a Robin Trower fan for many many years. You guys keep it up y’all sound great. I did a pre-order on this CD before it was released and have received it now it’s most excellent and then I recommend it to Trower fans and promote it to up-and-coming Trower fans.
What a groove and in the pocket. Of coarse that tone is a one of a kind. Bass, drummer and vocals are awesome. Other words love it.
Absolute 🔥 🎸 going to order so my Trower collection is complete! Robin I hope to see you in Utah again! Thank you for always taking a few moments of your time to sign an album, CD, picture, etc. along with a few genuine words. Your absolutely my favorite musician from Song For A Dreamer to this new album. I even have a green promotional cassette of Bridge Of Sighs. Lol. Cheers from across the pond in the Rockies. 🥃🎸
Another great tune to add to a lifetime of epic Rock n Roll....long live Trower...
Soulful Rock 🎶🎶🎶🎶 Thank you
Unbelievable Guitarrist.....King of the Strat
I would have loved to seen 🇬🇧 Alvin Lee, Jeff Beck and Robin Trower playing 🎸 together ‼️
A true testament to the power grace and fire of Robin Trower the samurai of the stratocaster in all his glory loud blazing and heartfelt with riffs and bends that heal us all
Man, this is so cool. I was just listening to this in my car today and now here's the video! I'm such a fan, I can't even say enough good about Robin. I became a guitarist after 'Bridge of Sighs' despite having been a drummer for ten years and never went back. I still play his stuff almost every day, and I am hoping to get a Robin Trower signature stratocaster pretty soon. Thanks for posting this!
Love at the first listen!!! Richard Watts nice vocal!! Trower rules!
My favorite Robin Trower song has always been Caledonia. I can listen to it over and over.
Now I have a new favorite! So glad Robin is back!!
Still going and going...Great guitarrist
Again and again! Thanks Mr.Trower!
Beautiful song, fantastic singing and playing.
Liked ❤.
Thanks for your wonderful video.
This album is on my top for 2022!! Hoping the tour comes soon!
Love the new album!! Playing on regular rotation since release. Legendary.
Awesome sound as always.
incredible robin, thanks a lot, the new singer is amazing, what a beautifull voice, love the song!, fantastic!!
Hell yeah Robin! Get on it brother!
His playing is at the top of his game. Incredible! Oh, and the singer is BADASS!
Robin split vocal duties with this singer (Richard Watts) on his "Go My Way" cd. When you get some time go back and listen to "Into Dust" "Blue For Soul" and "On Your Own" all 3 are good with Watts on vocals. The song "In My Dream" with Trower on vocals is a very good blues tune.
For some reason, people either forget, or don't know, that Watts sang on that CD?
Robin, Robin, Robin Trower!!🔥🔥 You are a gift to us all straight from The Lord's very hand! Amazing. My favorite guitarist EVER!
The music created from Trower, Watts, & Taggart on this fine cd is truly a gift. Just really, really, sad that the so-called classic rock stations are not wearing this song out. Oh well, I am!
Robin Trower is God. The best guitarist i’ve ever heard. His music ❤❤
You are EVIL! He is NOT god, but a man, ONLY JESUS CHRIST SAVES, Robin will give you good music, but he CAN'T take you to heaven. GALATIANS 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
As a guitar player myself, it just KILLS me the way so many video photographers (and video editors) shoot everything BUT the soloist when they are soloing - drummer, .....shot of Trower from BELOW, drum kit, vocalist....It's like they're TRYING to keep you from seeing the soloist technique. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
As a long time fan of Robin Trower and his music, it is great to hear fresh music from him that just hits the spot. Great job.
Par excellence from a MASTER!!!
THANK YOU, SIR ROBIN........
ANOTHER GEM...
GREAT STRAT , TOO....
Lovin' this. I started listening to Robin when in high school, now I'm retired and this man keeps rockin. Amazing
Great to see an awesome young vocalist here. Robin Trower continues be just superb.
A living legend
Before I saw Robin live in the early 80's I thought he was one of the best guitarists in the world as I'd seen so many other greats. After I saw him live, I realized that he was the best of all time. The tone, the bends, the note selection, the tasty licks, the psychedelia, speed when he wants to use it and the spaces in between the notes. Not only that, he is an amazing song writer and while his contemporaries have lost their muse, it is alive and well within Robin.
The new album is just amazing. I am playing the cd all of the time. Best thing that Robin has done in a long time and that is saying something. It is available on lp or cd - BUY IT and support Robin's continuing to make great music!
Thank you for supporting this fine cd and band. This Trower, Taggart, & Watts recording is also doing well on the blues and rock/blues charts too!
Trower is amazing!
