Hello sir, i am following you for last many years you are just awesome, i want to pursue career as a predictor designer, and though i have some doubt pls help me out. So my question is, to become a predictor designer or to create a predictor should i be aware with the mechanism as well? I mean should i know the inside out mechanism of my product?
Pls help sir
Thank you!
Sangeeta Garg thank you; it’s good to have your support. As product designers it’s normally important for us to understand what’s on the inside of our products. If we are responsible for designing the whole product, inside and out, we must be fully knowledgeable about the mechanisms and parts/systems within. It’s not just that, we need to be experts in material properties too. Also, we need to understand all the options in terms of manufacturing processes. It’s always good to understand mechanisms and motion. I hope this helps. Many thanks for following my channel!
amazing. are you a professional industrial designer.
Kreative Chaos Guides thank you. Product designer, but primarily a teacher of industrial and product design.
:)
Hello sir , can you please help me with a portfolio that will get me into a good University. I've been trying to make products related to 1. Medical
2. Transportation
3. Education
Is there something more I can be helped with.
Thankyou
Yash Kumar Hi! Normally, as part of the university application process, you’ll be asked to produce a portfolio. You may be asked for an interview following this, but often the university gives places on the basis of the portfolio. If they request a portfolio, then they will normally say what it should include. If you’re producing a general portfolio, then it should display a range of your work (a variety of skills). It should demonstrate your work in a variety of mediums. It should also show your interests and a range of making/prototyping skills. If you’re hoping for a place on a course that looks for specific designing (ie. medical or transportation for example), then include mini projects in these areas. Someone viewing your portfolio won’t want to spend more than 10 minutes looking at your work (unless you’re there in the room with them, t be a longer interview), so make it short and punchy. Good luck!
@@productdesignermaker thanks alot . This will help me for sure. I need to represent myself on a specific subject. Thankyou!
Is it possible using those glasses with cameras? Your point of view is extremly different from the mobile you use. This will turn your videos much better.
Not sure that would help very much really. My head would move too much as I look up at the object, then down at the paper. I think you’d end up feeling sick 🙂
@@productdesignermaker Makes sense.
