Ms Bonnie if you read this, I'm a TOTAL FAN GIRL! I love your channel & have watched all of your videos. (Some 2-3x's each!🤫😂) I would 💗 for you to educate young couples on the IMPORTANCE of buying a band that can be SIZED in the FUTURE! I'm a Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor, who has spent the last 13yrs fighting to live, but was DEVASTATED, when I was told my OG ring (of 24+ YEARS ) could NOT safely be resized! I've never wanted to 'TRADE UP' my OG Diamond, so I recently made the difficult decision to have my OG Princess Cut Diamond set in either a single stud earring or pendant, & then have a PINK Lab Cut Diamond set in my OG 18k yellow gold invisible set diamond band. I plan on gifting it to our daughter on her wedding day. (She just turned 17yo, so hopefully that will be a few yrs from now.) YOUNG Couples don't think about how their knuckles/hands change as we age, gain/lose weight, or have their lymph nodes removed. Thank you, for your time. You do AMAZING WORK!💗😘

This is my DREAM RING!!! I am SOO happy I was not able to fly out to Bonnie's store this January to design my perfect upgrade, because now that I see this ring, I can't go back to my original design! In the process of buying an engagement ring. My jeweller is telling me that I even though I want a yellow gold band that the diamond should be set in white gold because the yellow gold will make the diamond appear yellow. The stone is E colour. He was adamant that it not be set in yellow gold. Thoughts?

How many carats is one diamond in the band? Asking for size reference
this set is gorgeous. but with this style of ring do the diamonds feel rough against the skin on the sides?
I was thinking the same thing. My current ring is very rough so my next reset will be based 100% on comfort.

@@pinkroses9320 The diamonds in the band are all the way around. I think a smooth band without stones is more comfortable.
@@GiftSparks Oh ok, a lot of designs seem to be beautiful to look at but not practical to wear. Did you notice this over time or was it comfortable when you wore it in the beginning?
@@pinkroses9320 I have had the ring for close to 10 years now. My mother gave me a family stone for the center diamond. I wanted to have a setting similar to the original (Back in the 1950's it was very common to have a center stone in a platinum setting with 1 tapered baguette on each side or Channel set diamonds in the bank). When I went to the jeweler, I asked to have the channel set diamonds for the band. He talked me out of it, saying that diamonds with a shared prong setting gave more sparkle. He showed me the two examples. Yes, he was right about the sparkle-- no doubt. But the prongs are a bit uncomfortable. A channel setting would have been smooth and more comfy. Long story short-- go for comfort. My guess is the woman in the video will not wear her set on a daily basis because it is not comfortable to wear.
What is more expensive radiant cut or emerald cut?
