One of the best things about your videos, is no bad language! Your truly a first class welder! Appreciate it!!! Great work, too! Proud to be a fellow welder.
How does your truck pull with the camper hitch so far back? I'm about halfway through my build right now, waiting on a buddy to roll my tank holders. I ran down to texas with a 5er but im able to keep my hitch over the rear axel. I just buck a lot of wind since my deck is 6 inches above the frame now.
Not sure if this video is to old to get a reply or not. But was wondering if someone could go get a regular flatbed and modify it to work for a welding bed? I want to get into welding. Starting small and getting larger lol
Looking good! Is there a reason you don't have the oxygen bottles facing the same side as the acetylene? Seems like you'd have to walk around the truck to open valves and set your regulators.
very nice and neat body please answer a question way do you have top loading toolboxes it seams you would have to unload it when you wanted something ; all my boxes load from the side i have to carry alot on my truck i weld heavy iron
It’s a pipeline style bed. We have quite a few tools but the ones you use everyday sit up on the lip the things that are taller like grinders and squares things like that
@@keithyoung2318 a lot of it is the added weight of a bed depending on how it’s built ontop of hauling day a fifth wheel or hauling other campers holds up better to the weight.
Hey Schofield how you’ve been man? I had some questions bro, what would you recommend on how to practice on some pipe? I have a lot of scrap pipe laying around but no beveling machine. How can I get some practice lol😂
It sounds like a grinder party!!!! I think it’s really good to know how to hand grind a bevel on a piece of pipe and keep it straight. And square. If you have an oxy/acetylene set up you can hand cut bevels on that takes a bunch of the grinding away.
@@JacobSchofield lol Im just starting out doing mobile welding in our area and some guys give me crap about running a trailblazer 325 and not a sa200. But if I'm welding in a neighborhood late in the evening my customers don't have the neighborhood breathing down their neck 🤣
Man I wish I could get notifications from your channel by clicking the bell. For some reason when I try it says you have made an invalid argument. Probably something to do with the child protection act UA-cam passed?

Can’t wait to start on a bed for my truck. I like the bottle racks and I’m going to take time to plan my boxes. Tool specific spots. Awesome job Sco!
What an awesome bed build best one I have found so far! Thanks for sharing, blessings from Texas!
I see your bro in law is making sure the job is done right he's awesome bro and the rig is looking good you guys be safe
Always no better super then ole Kelby
all of these videos were sooooo helpful! I start the build on my bed tomorrow!
muy buen trabajo jacobo saludos desde texas arrrrreeee
Great work Jake and Randy 👍🇺🇸!
Thanks Wade.
Good job, very proffesional
Les gars vous faite du bon boulo mais au finale la carrosserie aurait besoin d'un bon coup de peinture cela ferait un travaill fini😃😃👍👍
the bottles look good everything looks good
Thanks Paul. We sure liked building it
That's a nice looking rig ya'll did a excellent job young men
Thanks David I really do enjoy building these beds for sure
That Bed is Sweet
Slick rig will we see it fully dressed?
keep it up Bud great video again
Thank you thank you
Really love the pipe line style, need to build something similar. I got an Air compressor and a shit to of tools...
might just need to redisign it a little.
Your dog at 7:05, a classic case of day dreaming/on the verge of nodding whilst blissfully not having a care in the world!
thanks getting back me and answering my question
Any time
Oh my your dog is a majestic donkey I love him
His neighbors must love him making all that noise in the alley. Lol
Ain’t the first bed built back there either 😂
Hahahaha lol!! 2 nd bed in that little ally way and the best part about it is they are absolutely blown away by what we can do with metal 😂
Where did you get the schedule 40 elbows?
Randy had them from a job way back when

Man I don’t really notice the difference to be honost. My hitch is set 18” from the back of my bed and it pull fine.
Where did you get your glasses from!? I need some to fit my mask.
What does the piping frame do? Hoosier pole?
So when you pipeline instead of rolling up every joint you hang your leads on it so it’s much faster
is that really safe welding around them acetylene tanks like yall did? just wondering thought they needed to be set on rubber to create an insulation.

That has come along well . How much you reckon the prints will cost? It certainly looks detailed.
We have them on the website as a notify me right now so when they come out I can let you know. Should be around 200.00

There is a set of hoses or a reel on the back side of the box so it would of gotten in the way. If the bottles where flipped.
I need to get me a Mock up Pipe Chuck like that
Sweet Sir need the ending need the ending
What type of code is that
Always good content from Schofield welding
Thanks Levi.
How can it be done and not have a welder mounted on it?
Like the sound of that machine brother
She’s a little cold starting

Will go into the deep side
Final video. Does this mean we can buy the blue prints now?
I’m whipping and spuring my brother in law. I’ll let you know.
How do y’all hold the oxygen bottles from sliding out?
They just tack em in
no we dont!!! we built a cap that slides over the heads of them and bolts to the boxkeeps them from sliding
Is a dually recommended for a rig in this career field?
Yes
Why not a srw one ton?

Jacob Schofield okay sir!! I also have an another question! What kinda of welding leads size do you run?
I hope one day you'll build one for a Ford
We will I really want to get like a 97 power stroke and build a bed for it
Jacob Schofield That would look so sick of you did one
I would rather the sound of a portable , than the human voice . Shh my sa has something to say .
Don’t believe there was much talking and I’ll garrenty there wasn’t an SA 200 anywhere close to be heard. All Millers here

anyone else see them fuel prices? like i wanna go back to $2.46 a gallon
Oh man back in the day when things where doing good. This was actually right when we got laid off because of the C- word
@@JacobSchofield any tips on welding in the 4g position?
