No BS - I just slapped a $21 offbrand dual muffler from Amazon (it had a small dent so like 75% off) on mine in the place of the secondary cat and replumbed the entire thing with 2.5” stainless just as a temporary fix but it sounds as good as this one if not slightly better! I think I’m going to put electric cutouts in just before the stock mufflers so I can have that Lexus silence restored 95% of the time but when I’m feeling noisy I can enjoy the sound of that wonderful quad cam V8. The 3S-GTE has always been my weapon of choice and the UCF20 is just my DD but who says you can’t have some fun with simple bolt-ons? (The *REAL* trick is avoiding the urge to install the two fresh RC CT-26 Turbos I have laying around from older swaps/turbo upgrades I performed for my friend’s ST-185’s! Each one is meant for a 2.0L 4cyl so one per bank should perform nicely on the V8’s slightly abbreviated powerband as compared to the RC 3S’s 8kRPM redline.) 😈 For weekends and track days I have my hand built ST-205 WRC but for respectability at the office I have the LS - but my drive home is a super-twisty rural road and sometimes you just want to have fun! BTW if you’re wondering, the slight decrease in bottom end torque merely resulted in less flashing of the traction control light from a dead stop with no discernible decrease in actual speed off the line. The top end throughout each gear feels like it plateaus at a higher RPM with a modest increase in HP but a longer useable powerband. I have two DECADES plus of dyno tuning experience with several of the GT4 builds I’ve done as well as a few Supras of the MKII-MKIV varieties so it’s not inexperienced butt-dyno estimates- it’s *EXPERIENCED* butt-dyno estimates 🤣
Love the sound, you can really hear the v8 but ain't too loud and raspy like a straight piped one
The LS400 sounded like an 80s carbbed V8
Love it!
That sounds AMAZING, exactly how I want mine to sound
It's satisfying to see V8 Japanese cars thst sound like American muscle cars
Because it's uses a crossplane crankshaft, but with big-bang firing not screamer like American Muscle Cars, and it's DOHC not OHV
@@alifianammar2003 Ohh, very cool
Love the sound
Wow that sounds fantastic.
very nice sound.
This is a Muscle Car japanese
sounds absolutely epic! I wonder what it would sound like with only the rear mufflers delete...
btw would you happen to have an onboard video?

Was this an easy enough job to do? Just bought an LS 400 and need more noise.
You have to try a set of flowmaster super 10s on it. You won’t regret it
its also sound like my cadillac .but i love lexus
Why does yours have a ls400 badge? Did you add it?
Soha Beh, No it’s a UK spec LS400.
@@boconcepts thanks for the reply :) I have one same color and model. Hoping to straight pipe it soon.
Soha Beh You wont regret it, smiles per miles with that burbling V8.
The Lexus ls400 from 1989 till 1994 didn’t have the LS400 badge but in 1995 they added it to the car 🚘

How bad was the drone
Surprisingly quiet once you’re on the move, no droning when cruising from 30 to 70 mph.
@@boconcepts sir you are a absolutely legend, my 94 is most definitely getting this treatment.
